Business Description: Abeln Floor Systems is a full-service hardwood floor company serving the St. Louis market since 1984. We offer complete resurfacing, refinishing and repairs to any type of wood flooring. We also install site-sanded and prefinished wood flooring of every description. Lastly, we specialize in buffing and recoating of existing wood floors that just need their shine restored. We have purposely stayed small with only five craftsmen so that we can control quality with long- term craftsmen who have a combined 58 years of hardwood floor experience. We do not care to be the biggest... we strive to be the best by staying current with the best and latest equipment, up to the minute training, old-fashioned work ethic and hard-won techniques developed over time. We love it when customers have comments like: "you can tell our floors were done by craftsmen who cared very deeply about their work...the pride in workmanship is there for everyone to admire". Comments like these are why we do what we do and who we are as craftsmen who are excited about contributing to our built environment. We are not a low-priced company and have never tried to be because high quality always requires more time and the best materials. "We would rather explain the price than apologize for the quality". We have a long list of satisfied customers who hired us to do their floors even though we did not have the lowest bid and sometimes we even had the highest bid. Still others hired us because they could not find another company to guarantee the work due to the challenge of matching the existing flooring.
