--arrived early since they were already in the neighborhood. Because I work" from home, that was not ideal (thus the punctuality ding), but we made it work. They reviewed the full job with me before starting, as I had purchased an Angie's List deal that did not cover all I wanted done. They estimated the extra work on the spot, and also helped set my expectations about stains that might not come off in the cleaning process, and what areas would need a 'deep cleaning' to really do the job. They made it clear they wanted me to be happy with the work. Finally, they covered potential problem areas (we agreed not to wash the patio ceiling fans) and then got to work. Our house offered some challenges, as we have a lot of sycamore trees that drop fuzzy seeds that stick to the house in clumps, and the spiders have been very busy this summer as well. When
finished, the house looked terrific. They were very conscientious about the quality of their work, and walked me around to show the results. I would recommend
, and will probably call them again this time next year.

"The evening before,
called to confirm his appointment and the next morning he was here right as expected. The Big Deal that we had purchased" was not enough to include the entire driveway so he gave us a quote to include the remainder. We accepted his proposal and he threw in the sidewalk and stoop. He explained to us what steps he was going to take to get the job done properly.
worked diligently and efficiently with his 'state of the art' equipment and the transformation began appearing immediately. It took him a couple of hours to complete. The driveway looks sooo good, thus our whole property appears neater and more well kept. It was a pleasure having him at our home and we would highly recommend
to anyone needing this service.

Pressure Washing

When it comes to keeping your home exterior, sidewalk and deck clean, there are a myriad of options available. One of the most popular (and efficient) is pressure washing – using a gas or electric-powered appliance, you can scour off dirt and blast away grime. Proper use and safety, however, is critical.

Angie's Answers

It is obvious that some folks have no clue what they are looking at in that picture I posted earlier. That is a low pressure (100psi) detergent application. Hasn't even begun the rinse process. Not a final product. An "action" shot DURING the process.

Poster has zero clue. Anyone needing a scaffold or ladder for that job simply knows nothing of the washing industry nor its common practices.

We are Memebrs of UAMCC and PWRA. Have the largest subscriber base on my youtube channel dedicated to teaching pressure washing contractors.

We wash over 1000 houses per year. All safely with low pressure and with feet firmly on the ground. Most Angie's list reviews and Super Service Awards in our area.

Again, be sure to hire a Pressure Washing Company and not a lawncare or painter. While some may be capable, in our experience, generally NOT the case as proven in this very thread.

May sound harsh, but the truth quite often is.

This is Kyle K from Member Care. Thanks for your question. I'm happy to help!

LCD is right. You should have a contract issued for the additional work and the service provider can discuss what type(s) of payment they accept.

I hope this information help! Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com. We're happy to help!

Pressure Washing reviews in Springfield

They were about two hours late based on the time we were provided by their office. Upon arrival we took them around to show what and where we wanted to be cleaned. When told that we wanted the screens to be cleaned, we were told that the screens could not be removed for cleaning as they were screwed on to the window frame. This was something we never heard before but we felt sure they must know what they were talking about. We then asked them to clean them by wiping them and the frames off to since they said they could not be hosed off. When they said they were finished, they asked us to check around to see if we found any areas they missed. I asked them at that time if they had cleaned the screens, and they reported they had. On cursory check, the windows looked OK. The next day I noticed that the screens on the patio windows were still covered with dust and webs. It was then that we discovered that the screens could in fact be easily removed by easily moving two tabs and sliding them out of their tracks. (This is as we have always done in the past on any and all houses we have owned.) Additionally, upon removal of the screens, we found that the frames were not wiped off at all, and the window sills had not been swept out nor cleaned. I called on August 18th and spoke with the owner,

. I explained to him all that we had found and asked for a refund -- total or partial
Springfield Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
refused my several attempts to justify a refund. He did offer to send the crew back to our home to finish the job. We declined his offer as we felt the crew already displayed poor, incomplete work - and as we had already completed the cleaning and saw no reason to use his services again. Not only was their work incomplete, but they lied to us right from the start.

We built the porch 10 years ago and it's made of cedar. Had it painted hunter green by a professional and within 5 days the paint started bubbling. The contractor was MIA as he already received payment. Two years later I had it painted again by another professional and explained the bubbling issues. He painted the deck and within hours the paint start bubbling and peeling again. As the contractor did do the work, we agreed on a reduced price and I said I would never paint it again. Well several years have past and my beautiful porch looks horrible with peeling pain all over it, so I found
Springfield Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List and had a consultation with him. What he asked me and the facts he told me made sense. All along I always thought it was the wood, but he asked if I used latex paint the first time it was painted, yes we did. Asked if the weather was wet the first time it was painted, I did recall my neighbor coming over when I got home from work stating it rained right after the contractor finished. He then stated that we need to remove all the old paint, sand it down, and then reapply an oil based paint. They did this all for $1000 which is only $200 more than the other contractors billed just to paint it. Well, several weeks have gone by and NO BUBBLES! I'm very confident that we have this resolved. Great company and was great working with the owner and staff. I highly recommend.

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List to power wash and seal 200 sq feet for $279.00.
Springfield Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
came out very promptly and took measurements, and we agreed that because the deck was larger that there would be an additional charge. Due to the weather it took a couple of weeks before he was able to come out and complete the work, but he did a great job of communicating and keeping me informed when he planned to and when things needed to be changed.

also answered my questions about power washing and water-proofing my driveway, as it too is in need of clean-up.

This crew was unbelievable. I was given an estimate within 24 hours if the initial call and the guys were working the same afternoon. I was impressed with the business owner's knowledge of products / chemicals - provided extensive literature to explain whats growing, the process of getting rid of it and the value of proper maintenance. ...More /> The pressure washer was a monster ..not something you could find for rent at home depot or Lowes. 5000 psi pumping 8 gallons a minute.
Kinda scary seeing them way up there on a dangerously steep pitch roof but comfortable knowing they were licensed and insured and I cold clearly see that they were skilled and experienced.
Its only been a day and I have already had 2 neighbors come by inquiring about the company I used. I wish I could post a photo.

This service was terrific. We had an enormous amount of black mold and slime, and the provider made everything look wonderful. There are a few areas that my husband didn't ask them to do that I'd like to see done, and I am so pleased with the service I plan to immediately get them back out here to do that work. A+++ work.
- Donna K.

The provider first contacted me by telephone. He arrived an hour early. He did a very thorough job of washing the outside of the house and removing the brand name stains on some of the planks on the wood deck. He worked independently and in a superior manner.
- Linda N.

Went well, had some rainy weather so worked around. Took 3 days to complete job. Payment at end. He works as firefighter so can work two out of three days. Had to delay some because lift was not avail to rent, but that was fine. Price was good based on other estimates I got. Nice guy.
Would like to have him scrape and caulk a little more, but nothing serious. There was accidental damage to a shingle but he was quick to repair good as new. No drips or spills of paint. Very neat.
Did a little extra section for me which I did not ask for, no charge.
