I completed my residency in 1995 from New York Medical College/Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. I then completed a prestigious Fellowship in Cosmetic Facial Surgery at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. The following year I took an Assistant Professor of Surgery position at The University of Florida. In 1998 I was offered an Associate Professor position at Southern Illinois University. I have been published in The Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Clinics of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The Journal of The American Dental Association, and The Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I have been in private practice since 1998 and have been awarded one of the top Oral and Maxillofacial by my peers in 2008, 2009, 2010,and2011.
