I settled on
. I was doing my driveway over and was going to do 80% paver and 20% asphalt. In ...more the end I decided to change course and am doing 80% asphalt. I have nothing but good things to say about

"My family has been in the construction industry for 50 years and I worked it for 10. I don't think I ever met a guy with more integrity, sincerity and a willingness to help than
. I called him re: a huge paver job. We chatted ...more on the phone for about 5 minutes before he conceded that the scope of work would put him at a price disadvantage given the fuel cost (He is about 70 miles from me). He could have politely ended the call right there but he continued chatting with me giving me ideas and things to be on the lookout for....almost like a pro
consultant. He even offered to come take a look at the project himself. Knowing he only had a microscopic shot at the job he came, I believe, more to help than anything else. WHO DOES THAT? This guy is awesome. His work speaks for itself, you only need to read a few reviews to know as much. And because of that, I was an inch away from giving him the project but the additional cost compared to a local (and good contractor) was just too much to overlook. I would tell anyone that you would be lucky to have
do your next project. The guy is great, honest as the day is long and willing to help in anyway he can...... As a matter of fact, I even consulted him a few times during my project and he texted me back almost immediately each time.... think about that. A real diamond in the rough "

Sample Patio Pavers Reviews
"In 2011 we decided we wanted to have a new patio in front of our home. After getting several quotes we were fortunate to find
. He was extremely helpful in designing our new patio with a new front entrance eliminating the steps to our front door. We were so impressed and happy with this new Unilock ...more patio we decided to have
create a new Unilock patio in the back of our home. This patio turned out to be equally impressive and we could not be happier.
also cleaned and sealed both front and back patios with the "wet look" appearance. We could not be happier and we are the envy of our neighborhood!
to ask when our job would be scheduled and he responded the next day that we were scheduled for
10. On the morning of
the job foreman and the rest of the crew showed up on time and began work. The xterior team was very accommodating and made sure we would be happy with the job. After laying out the patio we realized one of our bushes needed to be relocated and the xterior team moved it for us. Also, after laying out a few courses of pavers we realized we wanted to change it and they did so without question.
provided suggestions and a solution for tieing together our walkways and patio that we are very happy with. They hauled away our old pavers and did a great job in cleaning up the job site. The job was completed in less than a day and we are thrilled with the outcome! We would definitely use them again and plan on doing so on a future project. "
came up with a very nice design, good price and installed the porch. Total time was about 3 weeks.
The old front entry was falling apart and was unsafe .
listened to our needs and provided a design that really improved the look of our house. It was a quality install.
I've waited ...more two years to report because I wanted to know how well it would hold up.
The unilock pavers look as good today as the day they were installed. Even with this worst winter in over 20 years there was no settling or heaving.
This installation was worth every penny.
is very professional to work with. He takes pride in his work and insists in perfection.
His bid was detailed and he lived up to his contract. There is a 5 year warranty.
This is a company that will be around to honor its warranty too.
"This company is great! We had 3 quotes. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They were about in the middle. However; we did see work from the cheapest quote and saw that their bricks over time became wavy and slanted. I call about 3 to 5 customer's on their referral list and EVERY REFERRAL called me back! They were so excited ...more about the quality and experience with the company! In fact, one referral misunderstood and thought I was from
because she was actually getting more work done by them! The price is fair for the quality. I always shop around but referrals are strong to me and this company had one of the strongest referrals I ever experienced. When you are paying $7K plus for a patio, you want to make sure your dealing with a quality company.
Call their referrals for yourself and you'll see! Our salesman was
! He was fun, personable, and honest! He did what he said they'd do and stood behind the work all the way. Two years later and I'm still excited to tell people about their work!! "
"It went absolutely great. We requested bids from at least four different companies. One Company gave us a lengthy spiel and initially quoted us $20,000, knocking it down eventually to slightly over $15,000 after we practically fainted if we paid cash and put up a sign in the yard. However, it was unwilling to show us how it arrived at the price, ...more or provide us with a line item listing of costs. Or tell us whether there were cheaper options that would work for us. Plus the options on product were limited to a highly priced paver. And then it wanted us to sign a contract that day and "lock in" the price or it would go up, which got me suspicious. Another Company quoted us $15,700 and while it provided us with a line item listing of the costs, it had tacked on all these surcharges such as dump fees that indicated to us that ours was a fairly small project for them, but it wanted the same amount of profit as a large project. Plus it said it would take weeks to finish as they came and went. Another Company vastly underbid the project and did not specialize in installing pavers. A fourth Company didn't even return my phone call after leaving three messages while they were having advertising a so-called "special." When
came to bid, he was a breath of fresh air, He showed us and explained all
prices and costs of installation, told us that we could get what we wanted using a
priced pavers, and provided all the guarantees and construction quality of the higher priced companies. He didn't pressure us and over the next couple of weeks answered all my questions and concerns, and responded to all my inquiries. We decided to go for it and have not regretted the decision for a minute. When the day came to install, the crew of four showed up, began working and really didn't quit until after 5. We were very impressed. They had to demolish the old concrete that was at least 6 inches thick, pick
and regrade the clay subsoil, and
the foundation for the pavers. Then they had to
the pavers and complete the requested design that included a free-flowing border. These guys were good, and head installer
was great, making sure that I would be happy with what they were doing. It took them only two full days to complete the project. There were no surprises and everything pretty much went exactly as advertised and what
told us. The difference between "before" and 'after" is like "night" and "day." people that have come out to check it out have been very impressed. I totally recommend this Company for its transparency, honesty, professionalism, workmanship, and quality from start to finish. "
"The installer assumed the bbq pad was to be above ground although it was not discussed during the price agreement of $500.00. When I saw him forming for an above ground installation, I told him I wanted in ground liked a sidewalk section. We should have renegotiated the price at that time but he became very frustrated and uncooperative. He dug it ...more out and attempted to form it but that didn't go well, mostly because he was visibly upset. Twice I asked him to make sure it's level. When he finished, I met him in the driveway and he sort of shamed me in to giving him more money (claming he lost money on the deal). I gave him an extra $200.00. Then I saw the finished product. It's badly warped with a pronounced sag at one end, a hump towards the center and one end has a line that isn't even close to being straight. Looks like some drunk installed it. I've sent the owner pictures yesterday morning and haven't heard back yet. They do good borders but don't waste your time if your having something installed in ground. This was a very unpleasant experience. "
