Had an appointment to look at my project...no show, no call...wasted my entire afrternoon waiting for him.
A few days later, called and left messages...no response.
End of story.

The project probably took a bit longer than expected , but the quality of the work was good, the workers were very friendly and informative, and the site cleanup was good each day.

We loved working with this company! They were easy to work with, knew a ton about oil tanks and were extremely personable. They've been doing this for years! We also collected a number of bids and
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
was by far the least expensive. In the end we paid a little bit more to have the tank removed vs. decomissioned.
Highly recommended!

arrived right on schedule to perform a multi-tank pump out on our ATU.

worked very hard and ensured that each tank was pumped clear and that any and all sludge was removed as this is an Automatic Treatment Unit and not a typical septic system.

The only negative I have to report was the level of communication.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
arrived quickly to complete his review and work up an estimate in mid June. He delivered his estimate by email quickly. The remaining communication, all be email, was spotty and infrequent. I needed to ask him repeatedly for the dates he would come by to complete the work. Multiple specific questions about anything he might need from us went unanswered, such as township approval, utility line flags, and mail box location. Twice he reported having recently emailed me but I never saw/found those communications. It is possible he had an incorrect email address (.com instead of .net, for example). The project was delayed from late
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
to mid August to early September. Despite this issue within the project, I still would rehire
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
for additional work if needed.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
and his crew did an excellent job with the work, once under way. He arrived early on days he did work. He completed the entire project over two days with minimal interruption to us at the house and no contact.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
brought all needed equipment and left for additional equipment/supplies as needed, without adding any to the price of the project.
On day one, he ripped up about 15' feet of drive way, installed the culvert pipe, and repaved the driveway. He very carefully lined up on the culvert and the asphalt. The newly created angle of the driveway is improved over how it sat before and the pipe appears perfectly installed. He also added top soil to all lawn areas disturbed and placed hay over all areas, as well. This included both areas pulled up by the culvert install as well as areas disturbed by the treads of his equipment (excavator). The asphalt was dry less than 24 hours later. As an extra request,
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
installed 3' of brick at the top of the pavement, giving me a Yard of Bricks, as found at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, to drive over every day. This sentimental request did not seem to add any cost to the project and looks great upon completion.
On day two,
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
ripped out two planting beds including removal of numerous small to medium sized bushes, mulch, and remaining stone from earlier owners of the house. Finally, the crew cut down and removed 2 large trees including the roots and all limbs without disturbing the newly paved driveway and culvert.

and his crew removed all debris and left no trash or issues subsequent to their work.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
submitted his invoice by email within days of the completion of the work. He had promised during earlier email communication that payment was not due until satisfaction that the work was done. Nothing was paid/required up front.
Again, the end result of the work looks great. We are very happy with the installation of both the culvert and the Yard of Bricks. The removal of the shrubs/bushes and trees is complete and looks good. I would definitely hire
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
again and would recommend him to others.

terrible...... $ 3000 down was told 3 days job would be complete. on 3 rd day paid the remaining balance of $ 2800 thinking it would be finished . WRONGGG
not one time were they here when they said they would be, after the asphalt was done, the next morning it had rained.
the walkway portion of the asphalt had 6 low spots which had formed puddles. an employee coming to do some finish work to our foundation that got busted during tearing out old concrete for asphalt, seen puddles and stated " that's not good". the employee called " the owner " , the message i got was he would be there that day to look at it. i was told since it was still new and soft, it could be fixed easily. either by heating the asphalt up and beating a pipe into it and creating channels for the water to drain, or reheating it and compacting it more. i didn't want lines beat into my new asphalt . which didn't matter because " the owner "
was a NO SHOW. " the owner "
told employee to tell me " give it a week then call me " i called after a week " my guys will be there in a couple days " NO SHOW again.
aftermore unreturned calls , i get a call on a Wednesday saying we will be there by Friday. i had just got done cleaning asphalt with water hose and noticed now instead of 6 low spots , i now have 12 low spots scattered through out entire new asphalt, which tells me the foundation underneath the asphalt is sinking or settling bringing the asphalt with it.when the employees arrived and seen this his comment was " OMG". 1st thing employee tried was the channeling . after seeing channel and the discoloration on my new asphalt i told him no this isn't how i want it repaired. " the owner "showed up finally , stated that the following Tuesday they would come heat it up and compact it, on Wednesday they made it here , heated up 1 st spot , compacted it and left a nice grayish white blotch on my new patio. the employee stated these puddles are too deep to compact out. it was at this point i told them enough. when patio is dry there are no apparent defects at all, when its wet there are the puddles , they evaporate and over time will just seep through the asphalt. the repairs that they performed , or tried to perform have put very noticeable scars on my brand new asphalt. we will wait and seal coat it and cover up the blotches. i called the owner after his guys left and told him we were done and suggested i get some of my money back due to the job was INCOMPLETE and it now looks terrible. wouldn't you know he hasn't returned my call

For reasons we will never understand, a previous homeowner poured a 10-inch thick, rebar reinforced concrete patio in our backyard. And did I mention it wasn't even remotely level? Needless to say, it had to go.
We had several contractors out to bid on the project, and it soon became evident that it was too big for a general contractor. So we started looking at excavators. Ed's bid for the job was several hundred dollars under the closest competitor, probably because he does all the work himself using his own equipment.
Ed came out as scheduled, demolished the monstrous concrete pad, and hauled away all of the debris. To give you an idea of the scale, it took three trips with his full-sized dump truck to remove it all. In spite of the scope of the project, he managed to leave a relatively small footprint in the remainder of the yard, making just one track between the street and the removal site. That was a relief because we had a number of plants we didn't want to

Mr.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
visited my house and took note of the several projects and repairs that were needed. He provided me a rough estimate of the costs, indicating that final costs would be more or less based on what he found to be the actual causes. As each project was undertaken, Mr.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
kept me informed on a daily basis, alerting me to complications that necessitated additional attention.
He was meticulous and thorough with each project but nevertheless worked quickly and with efficiency. His manner was unfailingly polite and cheerful, inspiring confidence and allaying concerns about costs. He provided informative answers when asked.
His work required that he be in and out of the house which he managed unobtrusively.
Normally I really dislike the necessity of having strangers in the house but Mr.
Osage Beach Excavators Provider Name Locked
's demeanor and competence did not disturb in the least.

(owner) gave us an estimate, gave us an appointment, showed up on time- did an amazing job- very skilled at the backhoe- probably could thread a needle with his bucket. Can't say enough about Alpine. So appreciative. If you have a big job that you have been putting off, have
