"A beautiful job of matching new drawer with existing cabinet. This is the second time we have hired
to repair or remodel existing kitchen" cabinets. His prices are competitive, superb quality and high integrity.

"
came out as scheduled. I wanted a quote on bath cabinets and remodeling the bathroom. He took some measurements. Then said he would get back" to me. This was the last I spoke with him he never called back. He did not have the courtesy to follow up. Very disappointed since he had high ratings. If he was not interested in the work he could have at least told me so when I spoke with him at his business instead of wasting both our time with a measuring appointment.

Not really.  If the contractor is very careful and you are really lucky he might be able to pull them out and then reinstall them after the new cabinets are installed.  A lot of this will have to do with how well the counters were installed in the first place.  Also, the existing countertops may not line up with the new cabinets exactly in some areas as well as they do now.  The better option is to have the cabinets refaced, leaving the boxes and tops in place.  Unlless you have deteriorating particle board cabinets you should be able to get a carpenter to do this.  If you decide to remove the countertops and install new cabinets factor in new tops and be pleasantly surprised if they can be reinstalled afterall.  Realize you probably won't find a contractor willing to gurantee not damaging the tops.  If you do, dig in and research him well.  He likely doesn't have enough experience.

IF dirty enough to make for a musty odor, then paint won't stick to them properly anyway. Paint is not your solution - you probably need a Deep Cleaning. Try to pin down what types of smell it is - if damp, mildewy; rotten food; or musty fabric - will help guide you to the source maybe. Another thing to do is keep all doors closed for a full day when outside temp is such that furnace and A/C can be turned off - then walk around the house, sniffing - preferably with 2 people - and see if one room is the major contributor. I have played this game, and found all the following as sources of musty smells: 1) linen in a closet without ventilation going slightly mildewy 2) water leak in walls or floors enough to cause mold but not drywall staining or visible water 3) carpets needing cleaning 4) water leak in bath or kitchen leaking under floor, causing mold there which is not pronounced in smell because under the flooring 5) attic mildew/mold from leaks or moisture condensation on insulation/wood 6) moldy plants outside - left in garden/flower bed in fall, so rotted in winter/spring 7) clothes in closets touching outside wall, so in very cold weather acted as insulator and let freezing front come to inside of wall, causing frost and moisture to buildup there from the inside moisture, eventually causing mildew/mold (same process as condensation/ice on inside of windows with curtains over them) 8) failure to clean behind kitchen appliances and under sink, or under washer/dryer/dishwasher at least when repaired or changed out 9) heavy lint accumulation in bathroom fan going mildewy 10) grease trap in kitchen exhaust fan never cleaned 11) washing machine going moldy - run a cycle of towels or such with bleach and Borax 12) the number one cause I have found - clothes stacked in closets or hope chests or such for decades get very musty even if clean and ventilated

As long as the counter is big enough Corian is one of the easier ones to work with. Since it does not have the ground or crushed stone that some of the other material have you can work with normal woodworking tools. A saw with a fine tooth carbide blade and a professional grade router with the proper shaped carbde bit can be used if the edge needs finishing. A belt sander helps on cuts also. The only problem you might have is if you need the joint kits for seaming as I dont think you can buy them.

When Corian first came out I could buy the slabs and fabricate my own tops and then Dupont went to a certified distributor system and would no longer sell to those of us that had been working with it for years. I will admit that they did have reasons for this as not all that were working with the product were doing it right.

I just jointed Angie's List so my review is someone untimely but I thought everyone should know just the same that

really "ROCKS"! Their showroom was beautifully arranged and their slabs were easily viewed out in their yard. The sales staff were helpful and well informed. Once I chose my granite, it was all smooth sailing from there out! The scheduled measuring was on time, efficient and proved to be 100% accurate. A week or so later, the cut granite arrived and was professionally installed by a wonderful crew that was knowledgeable and friendly. They cut the hold out for the faucet and installed the under-mount sink. It was all polished and simply gorgeous when they left. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I just knew I would have to replace every cabinet in this 40 year old house when we bought it. The cabinets that were here had been built on sight and were solid wood but were dated and had an awful amateur looking paint job.

's group gave me a quote on refinishing the existing cabinets. The quote for just the kitchen alone was so much less than I expected that we had them redo every cabinet in the house--and there were lots of them! The result was awesome! Every time they finished a segment and we walked into the room, all my husband and I could say was WOW! This group works hard and they are so much fun to be around. They are good honest Christian people. They show up and stay with the job until it is done and they clean up after themselves. They give an estimate and stick to it. They go above and beyond to please. I never dreamed I would have cabinets that look so beautiful and are so well made. Their ideas and hard work gave my cabinets much more storage, beauty and function than I ever could have imagined. The slogan that is on their trailer is "We Put The Wow in Your House". They certainly put the WOW in my house! Thank you,

We had done our homework and knew what we wanted for cabinet refacing, quartz counters, faucets, sinks. The installers the company sent were punctual which we appreciated. The installations of everything went well but there was a definite lack of attention to details: a 6 by 6 inch hole left for weeks in our kitchen touching a electrical switch box, true it was covered when the backsplash was put in but it was unsightly and next to an electrical outlet, a gap around our kitchen island created from replacing the old counter with the new, yes our old molding was used to close the gap but I had to seal the new nail whole and paint the wall, I has to ask for sealer around the new bathroom sinks where there was a visible gap from the top of the counter to the top of the sink. Fine, finished details is a weakness. the plumbers did a good job in their instillation of kitchen sink, faucets, garbage disposal, filtered water faucet.

At first I communicated with emails because I like documentation. No email was ever responded to. Phone calls had time delays up to more than 24 hours. Texting seemed to work but with delays. During the project, I stopped in the office to communicate some concerns. I learned our project manager was on a 4 day cruise. Someone in the office wrote down my concerns but no one in management or anyone else responded. I had to wait until our project manager returned from the cruise. All the workmen, installers, plumbers etc. arrived on time. CThe workmen who did all the installation were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. We took the precautions of covering our furniture with plastic when the kitchen counters were installed. There was a significant about of “quartz dust” from the drilling of the holes for the faucets.

We purchased all the faucets for bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, the kitchen sink, water filtration faucet and garbage disposal independently from the company. The two new bathroom sinks were purchased from the company. The company staff were polite.

The lack of prompt communication, the lack of attention to installation details are the reasons I would not hire the company again.

was extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgable he gave me great ideas on how to design my kitchen. The kitchen was built as promise in a timely manner. I was also invited to see the finish product before delivery at their warehouse. They efficiently removed my old kitchen cabinets and took care of disposing it. My kitchen cabinets were installed within two days and my granite was installed after within two days as well. I am really happy with the materials and my granite looks beautiful. I am especially happy with the customer service provided I will be recommended this company to my friend and family!

Price is a guestimate based on what the overall kitchen costs were. The company was contracted out by our building landlord to create a kitchen in a small room that already had water and electricity to it. We worked with the landlord's space designer to specify what we wanted (dimensions, style, finish...everything) and once we approved the plans, the landlord contracted out with this company for the cabinetry. I am writing this review about 4 years after the work was done as I plan to get a quote from them for some custom cabinetry for my house.
I have been very pleased with the craftsmanship and the cabinets have held up well. We did have some problems but they did get resolved in a timely manner and to my satisfaction - and there are usually issues that do need to get resolved so how a company handles them is important. Overall they came on time and were minimally disruptive to my office. A lot of the work was done off-hours.
I had two problems, one minor, one not so minor, both involving installation. One of the countertop pieces did not fit due to the lack of square walls. Countertop was surrounded on three sides with an already standing wall. The worker who trimmed the piece to size didn't use the proper method/tools and thus the laminate was chipped at that
Osage Beach Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
. Installed it anyway. I pointed that out to the landlord and the landlord had the company re-do that piece. I was there when the worker cut and installed it, however my communication was not with this company but with the landlord who was footing the bill.
The other was a safety issue. The company did install bracing to the walls behind the wall cabinets. Unfortunately the cabinets above the sink were installed with the top screwscompletely missing the bracing altogether and thus these cabinets and the massive weight were being held by two lower screws into the bracing and the two top ones into only drywall. This was due to the installer installing the cabinets about 1 1/2" too high thus not to the exact specifications, not paying attention to how the screws didn't hit any fortification, nor putting enough screws in to ensure the cabinets could handle the weight from above. Well now there are several more in each cabinet.
Fortunately those cabinets fell on a weekend when no-one was in the office - but didn't come crashing to the floor, as our Keurig coffee maker (didn't get damaged!) and our paper towel dispenser were in the downward path and the cabinets got hung up on those two items or the cabinets themselves may have damaged the counter and cabinets below them. They tipped significantly but only dropped downwards about 4-5" before getting wedged into the side walls. Landlord contact the company and they came out, remounted the cabinets, repaired the wall. All to my satisfaction. Yes, it could have had a very unhappy ending, and though all the bracing was checked and some refortification done, we no longer store such heavy items on top.

Creation Cabinets was wonderful to work with. They were very attentive.

could sit with me and design cabinets on his CAD program and make small changes that would better fit the space. It was an on-going discussion as we discovered the surprises of working on an older house.
They were delivered on time, installed really well and because were were rehabbing a 60 year old house, they adapted to any surprises with the house. They worked well with all the other subs too.
We asked them to incorporate antique glass windows into the design of the dining room built ins and they worked hard to make them look perfect.
If you are serious about good cabinets that will wear really well go and check out their work shop. The quality of manufacture is amazing.
