Carpet Installation Reviews in Lees Summit

I was really impressed with the knowledge and responsiveness of the staff. The lady in the showroom (I don't remember her name) was really helpful without being pushy. The prices were the best I found (better than Costco and Nebraska Furniture Mart) for equivalent products. I liked that they were family owned, their installers work for them (not contracted), and they had helpful tips to offer above and beyond my expectations. The turnaround time from order time to installation was less than a week and everything went just as planned. I will definitely return to this company for future remodeling needs.

All workers were prompt and professional.
was very very professional and stayed on top of the job arriving on time each morning to ensure the project stay on track. Everybody went the extra mile to keep the dirt and dust to a minimum. The project started on time and was complete within the 8 week time frame as promised. We are very satisfied with the final product.

Carpet Installation reviews in Lees Summit

The whole experience was good.

(co-owner) came and gave an estimate and a time frame of 3-4 weeks for completion. The project was completed in about 5 weeks. We did have a few extras that we added on to the original bid. All the people that did the work were very professional and did a great job. Any problems that arose were brought to my attention and not just "covered up". There is such a thing as an honest contractor! The project did take slightly longer than was anticipated, but it all turned out good.

This is my second experience with this company...the first time was about five years ago when we bought low-end carpet for some rental property we owned. This time for our own home.

(the owner) was very patient as I shopped around for carpet - while I found the same stuff at Nebraska Furniture Mart for a lower price per yard, by the time the pad and installation was added, the overall price was the same. Because this is a small shop we had to wait about two weeks while the carpet was shipped in...once it arrived the installation was scheduled within a couple days. The installation took about a day and a half, and the installation job was beautiful!!! I understand this sales/installer team has worked together for 10 years. If you're looking for very personal attention and craftsman-like installation, I highly recommend this company.

Obviously I like them to use them so much. VERY accommodating! The designer (Pat, I think) is most helpful. I felt treated like royalty. They have something for every budget and can get remnants for small rooms if you ask. The workmen are superb!

did a good job on our installation. And his upholstery work on the steps looks great. He was friendly and didn't complain when I started moving furniture in before he was done with the steps.

don't let the name fool you - there's no integrity in

. They overpromise and under deliver, break deadlines, fail to return calls, overcharge and when you try to correct it - act like you're trying to get something for nothing. Run from this company.

The job went very well.

was very thorough and careful in his estimating and was very clear about what was included in the their services (which was also very complete). He walked us through numerous options and re-estimated a couple times based on our changing interests and budget. The installers were profession, courteous and on-time. We had some schedule conflict due to painters taking longer than anticipated, and

adapted their plans to accommodate our tight schedule (getting the wood flooring done before the movers arrived!).
The quality of the work was excellent and we would certainly recommend

On another job at our former house, we got a quote from

, but we decided to go with a *slightly* less expensive provider. We greatly regretted it as their quote was not detailed and there a number of details that

has quoted that the other provider omitted and didn't do.

We signed a contract to have the flooring installed. I took off work. The installers arrived and left within ten minutes saying they couldn't perform the work.
I called the man at
Lees Summit Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
who I had been dealing with and he advised me that they could do the work as specified in the contract but that if I wanted the flooring to look "nice" it was going to cost me more.
I reminded him that we had signed a contract and at no time had he told me until this minute that the flooring was not going to look nice.
At this point he becomes indignant and tells me that he's a salesman, not an installer and also that he's 50 plus years old.
We told him that we are not going to pay more and that they had better honor the contract they had signed. At this point we became problem customers to them and things went downhill very quickly. A man came out and did a fix so that the tile could be installed but the salesman was right in that it did not look good. We have since had it redone.
We had agreed to pay extra for their tile man to return to tile the floor in one of our bathrooms because my new $7500 shower stall was being installed before the flooring could be put down. I saw the installer putting the toilet in my new shower and I said that's not going to scratch up my new shower is it? He laughed and said no, that would be awful wouldn't it after all the problems we've had. Well next time I checked that's exactly what had happened. He had dropped the toilet and scratched up the stall. He had a magic marker so I assume he wasn't going to tell me and attempt to hide the scratches. It was an accident and he was a nice guy. In fact all the installers seemed nice. I did tell

I was not paying extra for someone to scratch up my brand new bathroom and they did remove that charge from my bill. I should have made them pay for the damage to my bathroom but at that point I was so sick of dealing with them I just wanted to be done with them.
We have an old house and have had tons of work done on it. In almost all cases we get calls from Lowes, Home Depot etc. wanting to know if we are satisfied. If there is the least thing wrong they cheerfully send someone out to fix it. They want everything to be right. The exact opposite of our experience with this company.
We would never do business with this company again. In fact this company is the reason I joined Angies List.

We had a good experience with
Lees Summit Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
when they installed granite counter-tops in our kitchen, so when we saw they also had carpet in their showroom, we asked them for a quote. We were looking for something durable for our stairs, and the heavy traffic we get in our living room. The salesman was very helpful and walked us through the different styles and quality considerations. He was patient, and seemed to know quite a bit about fiber types, weaves, backing and padding. We felt good when we walked out of the store, but we decided to swing by a big box store to see if we could get a better deal on something similar. That turned into a big shell game. They had a low price per square foot, but by the time they added in all the extra charges for tear-out, disposal of the old carpet, delivery of the new carpet, installation, padding, tear-out, etc, I wasn't real happy. They even wanted to charge extra to carry the carpet from the truck to inside the house. We ended up going back to where we felt right about, and are glad we did. The tear-out and installation went smoothly, on time, and the crew was very professional. I was a little concerned about installing the carpet on the steps because we have oak tips, and I didn't want the woodwork damaged, and I wanted a tight fit, with no gaps. The installer did an excellent job. We are very happy, all around.
