Business Description: Norton & Schmidt Consulting Engineers was founded in 1967 by Willard S. Norton, P.E., and since that time has developed a staff capable of handling any size or type of project. The firm now includes 14 licensed Professional Engineers with a total staff of 29. It has consistently been the policy of Norton & Schmidt to provide a tailored service to meet the particular needs of each client. We provide design and inspection services for new construction, existing building renovation and restoration, parking garage restoration, general consulting, residential consulting and expert testimony. It is our goal to provide timely and reliable services to meet all of our client's needs. Special computer analysis, on-site engineering and specific existing condition review and restoration procedures are some examples. We have a staff qualified to use the hardware and software to provide complete computer-aided engineering design and drafting.
