ended up being the cheapest offer at $200 for the large truck on a one way trip from Nashville, TN to Indianapolis, IN. My only complaint is that we really wanted a lift gate as these arcade cabinets are incredibly large and heavy but no one would give us one for the one way trip. The truck did come with a ramp but the lift gate would have made the move a lot easier. Aside from that, the truck worked great and came with unlimited miles. It also got great mileage for the size of the truck. Should we need to move another large haul such as this, I would definitely come to

"I went with this company because they accept checks and his reviews were so good. He said any mover that wants to be paid before the move is over, is not a good" mover. We set up the move. I had to move earlier than I had planned because of scheduling and availability. They were 2.5 hours late because the truck broke down. I was supposed to have a 4 man crew between 8 or 9 in the morning. 1 crew of 2 showed up at 10:30 with a smaller truck. The second truck showed up later. The crew leader on the 2nd truck began to yell at the 1st crew and asked why they didn't order a 3rd truck. The decided they would make it work. I told them, we got to get this done. I have to get my cat before the vet closes. As time passed the trucks were filling up and they had not ordered a 3rd truck and they began yelling at me that they didn't have anymore room on the trucks. They did not listen when it came to where and how I wanted things packed. They told me don't worry about it, we'll sort it out at the storage. I needed one item out to the
. They could not get it out in one piece, so they broke it. They also ran out of pads and then only shrink wrapped my items. The owner said it was impossible to run out of pads. They have over 100 pads on a truck. Then they were taking paintings and glass out to the truck not wrapped at all. The owner told me, "Oh they wrap it out at the truck."My patio chairs were strapped to the metal lift, and my mattress and box springs were attached to the outside of the truck. They told me the entire house was empty. I came back and luckily checked the garage. There were enough items in the garage to fill the back of a pick up truck. The owner called and was yelling at me about refusing to pay. He said I cannot refuse to pay because it is against the law and is fraud. I had no idea what he was talking about because I did not refuse to pay and was not supposed to pay until the move was over. I reminded him of that and he said, "Oh, I forgot I told you that." The owner told me that because of all the issues I had with the first move, that he would send a new fresh crew of his best and fastest movers. I said how will they know what goes where? He said to call in the day before for the stuff that was going to my sister or necie. The owner told me I would never get a shock from his company, because he is so good at estimating. Well it ended up being 1500 more than estimated. He stated that it was my fault because I needed things delivered to my sister and my

When the crew of the second move brought the items to my home, they were all mixed up and not sorted to what goes where. They kept bringing the wrong items to the wrong areas. The older guy,
, was very nice and told me don't worry about it, we will sort it out for you. The younger guy, Nick, kept threatening me that "His crew was about to walk off the job." I told them I would be happy to come down and tell them where everything goes, but I was not going to leave my apartment door open because of my cat. They kept bringing things up and making piles. I told them to not pile things there, furniture is going to go there. They said, just let us bring the items up, then we will put everything where it goes. Then, they were mad that they had to move the items twice because the didn't listen when I told them not to make piles. They told me there were still boxes in the truck and they could not bring up anymore boxes because I wouldn't be able to move around. I said that I needed my boxes for my bathroom and my kitchen. They then began to cuss, just bring it all in. They began stacking the boxes and using moving straps to bring them in. This crushed the boxes. They finally got everything loaded in the house and I began to notice all the damage to my furniture items. I still haven't found all the damage. I felt intimidated by the movers, so I tipped them way more than I would normally have because I was scared of them and they knew where I lived.

will talk about the final price. So I signed and did not give them a check. Then The owner called me and began yelling at me about refusing to pay again. He said I was a liar and I was being facetious. He wants payment immediately or he was calling the police. I reminded him that
said that he and I would work the final price out. He said everything was my fault and what credit card did I want to use. I told him that I would send him a check. He said he was not going to wait for a check. He made me overnight a check and send him the tracking number or he was going to call the police. He said "I was going to work with you on the price, but everything is your fault and now I want the full amount. Now give me my money or I'm calling the police." I am honestly shocked at how bad this experience was after seeing how great their reviews were.

It was horrible. They showed up prior to calling me first. I asked them to call me within 30 minutes of showing up.

said he would give 30-60 minutes notice before they showed up. I arrived at the storage unit. They looked in the unit and said it should be no problem getting the job done in 2 hours. They started loading up my coats and other wardrobe. I asked them if I should stay and look over them or leave? They advised me I could leave and meet them at the new unit. They called me as they were leaving the storage unit at 9 a.m. It took them about an hour to load the truck. I gave his directions on how to get to my new apartment. It was supposed to be a 15 minutes drive. I called him 30 minutes later and asked where he was. They advised me they were driving slow so nothing would be bouncing around in the back of the truck. They finally showed up and started unloading. They were throwing fragile items into that wardrobe cart. They weren't being very careful with those fragile items. I had some items that were going into another storage unit that was in my apartment complex. They were just throwing things on top of other fragile items.

I called in advance to see if the 24 foot truck and blankets were ready to go for my truck prior to arrival on 5/1/15. The owner said yes. On arrival, once I paid for my insurance and the truck (which I reserved a week in advance), the owner took me to the truck that had the following problems:
-- Not filled with gas
-- Severely unaligned (I noticed this immediately after I left the property)
-- Bumper not aligned and severely bent
-- Steps severely bent under passenger side door and back of truck
-- Not cleaned out in the cabin or the back (IE I dug out bottles and bags of food, melted chocolate and candy from the front cabin. The cargo area was just as unclean.)
-- A crack/ding in the windshield
Misinformation given to me at time of rental:
-- Owner said that I had to pay for roadside assistance (not true)
-- Owner said that the truck got "10 miles to the

-- Owner refused to let me leave the premises with the low tank of gas. I had to go with him to fill up the tank instead of just documenting how much was left in it. (This goes against the policy listed online that states a renter can return the truck with the same amount of fuel notated by owner when leaving premises). He paid for the gas and helped me return a rental car.
Poor service from Owner:
-- Owner did not fix ANY of the problems I pointed out to him. He said it all was "normal" wear and tear. (See attached pictures)
-- Owner did not offer or DO his job - IE clean out the truck and make it presentable prior to giving it to the client.
-- I asked for another 24-foot truck. The Owner said there were none, so I had no choice due to time constraints. I did not notice the truck was not aligned until I left the property.
Poor service from Budget corporate:
I took the truck to a storage unit nearby. During that time, Budget Corporate called my cell and did the following:
-- Told me they had trouble with this location/owner "all the time"
-- Told me the owner had not properly taken inventory of the truck, so I had to do that. Corporate asked that I verify what type of truck and item number I had.
-- Did NOT AT ALL offer to help when I told them of the truck's condition - steering misalignment and damage
-- Complained to me that the Owner was terrible. But no offer to help other than "call roadside assistance."
The car is so poorly aligned I have difficulty navigating it. EX: It took me 8 hours to make a 3.5 hour trip due to the truck's poor quality. AND NO HELP WAS OFFERED REGARDLESS OF WHAT I HAVE SAID.

The truck itself was new but I found it unstable with a rough ride. I was surprised how much effort I expended to get to our destination 175 mile away.

In a nutshell-beware of this business and these people. The first hint of a red flag is on actually taking delivery- and the extremely onerous 'process' of getting checked out for clearance to drive away. This 'process' involves a full 20 minutes of watching the service person 'check' the vehicle. This involves actually allegedly photographing every scratch, ding and

This should actually occur before pickup, so as to allow the customer a little more courtesy, in my opinion. don't remember them actually checking under the hood, mind you, just an emphasis on every scratch. These people use mirrors to look and photograph-again allegedly, the top and undercarriage. Once I saw this, I was prepared for return and my suspicions were confirmed. First, I have a commercial Drivers License and was 'super careful' with this truck. On return, the same process is initiated, i.e. everything is once again 'allegedly' photographed, and I mean everything. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to suspect that they are hoping to find something so as to milk the customer for more money. As I suspected, something was allegedly 'discovered' on the very top of the 18 foot truck. When I attempted to climb up to see, I was asked to get down. These guys are sneaky in that I was told there 'may be some additional damage', and this of course would have to be confirmed from previous 'photos.' As I began to protest I asked to speak to the boss, and he states that a final determination will have to be made at a later time-after I am gone and left the scene, obviously another big red flag. Wrong, my brother and a friend witnessed all this and I decided to advise them to expect me to be contacting the BBB and an attorney, and the police for good measure. No way this vehicle had any additional 'damage' because of the way it was driven and the fact that it was secured overnight. These guys apparently have no serious competition out here, at least on this side of the island; yet they are in serious need of some, and the consumers out here deserve better than this. I have rented cars and trucks previously on numerous occasions and nothing has ever come close to this. At one point I was even told that if additional damage was found, that the owner is notified. I said please do so and ask him or her to come in, because I want to have a word with him/her. This wasn't done of course,. Finally, after over a half hour awaiting 'release', these guys finally relented and I advised them I wanted it in writing that the truck checked out OK. They complied. One final note: I guess my suspicions were aroused on initial walk in to their office, when an apparent disgruntled customer was just leaving. Didn't hear much conversation, but this guy did not seem happy. They were

FEES! My husband went with them and was charged an extra $60. trip charge! He talked to a man on the phone who would not back down. When he came home I called. The man yelled at me and said that they couldn't refund the extra $60. He finally said he would leave a note for the owner. When she called back she also yelled at me and said there would be no refund.

It has not gone well. I had to wait an hour to get the key to the unit as the manager was gone to get lunch for everyone, and no one else was allowed to rent me a unit (which was odd as several people were there working -- why can't they rent units too? Does he work every hour the store is open?).
Then, at the end of the first month, I paid my bill on time.
And I was charged a late fee, even though my check had cleared BEFORE the deadline.
Since then, I have called four times asking to have the late fee removed. Every time, the phone is transferred to a national call center as no one picks up at the New Circle Road store. They have sent messages to the manager, who is the only person who can remove the fee, but he does not do so. I am going to have to drive over there in person and get the fee removed IF the manager is there.
It's only $15, but it's so shady to charge someone a fee when it's not due. I would definitely choose someone else for storage in Lexington. The rental rate is comparable at

The entire experience was a disaster. We were going to be driving from Indianapolis, IN to Nashville, TN to pick up several arcade cabinets. It was going to be a long drive and we wanted to get to our destination at a reasonable time. The earliest UHaul would allow us to pick up was 10:30am although we really wanted to be out of Indianapolis by 9am.
When we arrived at the location, the woman at the desk explained someone had rented the trailer and had not brought it back. They suggested we waited an hour or two to see if they brought it back. We explained we could not wait around, especially since they didn't know if this person was going to return it that day. They showed no sympathy or remorse and in fact, they were pretty rude about it. They tried to ignore us when we told them we had paid for a service and made plans around said service and expected them to make it right. We understood it was not their fault that this person did not return the trailer but we felt they should not have offered the reservation if they couldn't promise the product or a like product. We suggested they rent us a large truck at a discount so we could still haul our cabinets as planned but they refused. They refunded us $50 and tried to get us to leave. We again emphasized that we had planned this trip around their promised reservation and they needed to make it right. They finally called around to other UHaul's and found a location on the Southside that had the right trailer. (Which was incredibly annoying considering we had been told this location was the only one in central Indiana with it.)
On our way to the southside location, I called the corporate customer service line to complain about the poor service and run around. A girl named

UHaul customer service is the absolute worse I've come across in a long time.
We went to the other location and picked up the trailer with no problems. By now we were an hour and a half behind schedule. However, as we drove down the highway, we noticed the truck seemed to be struggling to pull the trailer, as if it was full of something heavy though it was completely empty. This was not the first time this truck has hauled and it had never struggled before. About an hour down the road, we had burned through an entire tank of gas. We knew something wasn't right so we called the location we picked the trailer from and they stated the brakes might be locked and wanted us to come back. She had given us the wrong address. We now had to drive another 30 minutes back to the highway. I called a location in Jeffersonville, IN and verified they were open. I explained to them our situation and they told us to stop by.
Just as we were coming closer to their location, the trailer suddenly became easier to pull. I'm not sure if we knocked something

The rest of the trip went fine. We picked up our cabinets, the truck still didn't struggle with the weight of 11 arcade cabinets, and we dropped off the trailer the next day. However, we were several hours late due to UHaul's unorganized disaster and old trailer that needed maintenance. I will probably never rent from UHaul again and wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
