Business Description: The concept of staging may be relatively new to St. Louis, but it is definitely not just a trend. Due to the increase in popularity of real estate and home staging programs, today’s buyer is more knowledgeable than ever, and expects to be impressed. What can staging do for you? Staged Homes: •Sell up to 50% faster than non-staged homes •Sell for between 6.9% -17% more than comparable non-staged homes •Agents are more likely to show staged homes over vacant or cluttered properties You can see why now, more than ever, you truly never get a second chance to make a First Impression! From cozy condominiums, to lavish estates, we will prepare your home for the real estate market. Staging does not have to be expensive! Often, a simple consultation is all that is needed to get the homeowner up and running. Services Staging Consultation Taking roughly one hour, the homeowner or listing agent takes notes while we explain what needs to be done, with the work being completed by the homeowner. Comprehensive Staging Consultation Taking between 1-2 hours, with or without the homeowner present, the stager provides a custom, written report. This includes an extensive curb-to-fence property assessment of the following: • Curb appeal and landscape detail • Room flow and furniture placement • Where, and how to de-clutter and organize spaces • Color, furniture, and accessory suggestions where necessary Occupied Home Staging After completing the Staging Consultation, we will rearrange the homeowner’s existing furnishings to prepare the home for its’ market debut. Where necessary, rental furniture, additional accessories, paint, etc., will be purchased by us at cost plus shopping time. The homeowner and stager will set an agreed upon budget and time frame. Vacant Home Staging We can create beautiful, dynamic rooms in any vacant property! After a brief consultation, we will determine which rooms require staging, and working within a designated budget and time frame, will select and stage rental furniture, accessories, linens, and rugs. Angie's List members will receive a $10 discount off a staging consultation. For prices and availability, please contact us at: 314.346.0661 or info@firstimpressionsstl.com

When it comes to home improvement, you often think of big ticket items - a remodeled bathoom, new kitchen appliances, the addition of costly square footage.

But there are small changes any homeowner can do that will have a big impact in any space.

Take this backyard patio, for example. With the addition of a visually graphic rug to draw the eye into the space, a few outdoor throw pillows and a table centerpiece, this patio now packs a punch and instantly brings character to this outdoor living area.

And the best part? The entire patio makeover only cost $115.
