Drywall and plaster

Knowing how your interior walls are constructed and what they are made of can help you take better care of your home, as well as provide effective maintenance. You can make small repairs yourself, but the more extensive the job the more likely you'll need a drywall repair contractor to make the wall smooth again.

You may prefer the lived-in look, but a hole in the wall makes your home look a little too lived in. A pro tells how to repair a hole yourself and save money.

My sister-in-law uses brite white toothpaste and rubs it into those small holes. No prep, no sanding.

I've used wall liner (it applies like wallpaper only thicker) to cover a multitude of "wall sins" over the years. In my opinion it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. It doesn't look cheap or tacky, it's inexpensive, non-labor intensive and not messy to install.

I used it for the first time about 15 years ago to cover a faux brick tile on my lower kitchen walls that couldn't be removed. It was either tear the wall down or take a chance on $40 worth of wall liner. It did the job beautifully and lasted. Since then I've used it to cover paneling, a badly gouged wall after a kitchen remodel and a wall that looked like a pegboard after floor to ceiling shelving was removed.

Friends and family (and realtors!) have been amazed by the transformation after applying this simple inexpensive product.

Drywall Repair And Installation reviews in Branson

I have had work done before by this provider (built garage) and was so pleased with that project that I had no doubts about hiring

for a painting job. I actually called at the end of summer last year and Amadou quickly came over to look over the project and I received his bid within a day. Unfortunately, the good weather season was turning quickly to a very rainy fall, so I decided to put off the project until the spring. Since we had a very warm February,

called me to schedule the cleaning and paint job.
Everything went very well. There was one surprise with the realization that part of the "trim" under the gutters was in fact aluminum. This needed a different paint and paint preparation than the wood trim.

took care of this extra work professionally without question as that area was part of the bid even though it turned out to not be wood.
I am very pleased with this job. My house hasn't looked this good in years. One added point I'd like to mention, is that while looking at the two attic windows that were painted, I noticed a piece of flashing that was coming off my roof. Without hesitation, the painter said if I have a couple of nails, he will fix the flashing for me. I really appreciated that extra customer service.

Branson Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
comes across as down-to-earth and trustworthy. He has a positive attitude when talking about the work and never talks "down" to me as the customer. He does good work with that desired "perfectionistic" bent and at a good pace- not hurried and not slow.
- Anita E.

I talked to him once. He said that it was a busy time and to call back in a couple weeks. I did and left messages, but he never returned my calls. Obviously, he has too much business and does not want any more. I have heard from others that unless you have a really big job, he won't even bother with you. He is not worth the call.
- Amy S.

He patched a hole in my sheetrock. Scheduling was fine. There were no additional costs beyond the price of the deal. Everything was good. I liked the deal.
- Bob W.

It didn’t go as well as I’d have hoped. They left in the middle of the job and came back. It didn’t get done as well as it could’ve been done. I had them do the work in the kitchen, the hallway, and some living room work.
- Tracey M.

The price we paid was $700, which was almost exactly double the estimate. The work was good, but they damaged couple of things in my bathroom. One of the things that they did is to use a material around my brand-new bathroom wall cabinet that caused the paint to peel off the wall. The main problem that we had was that we were given one price and when he came to collect after the work was done, he charged us twice as much as he has estimated. He told us it was because when he estimated, he thought it would be a one day-job and it turned out being a two-day job and so, he charged us double. However, I kind of feel like if you make an estimate and you underestimate the work; it’s your fault, not the customer's fault. We paid him because we just didn’t want to hassle over it.
- Linda W.

He was awesome! He was able to come within a week. He worked the entire day in our bathroom and even allowed my 6 year old to hang out with him. He did a great job and was very efficient.
- Eric D.

The service went okay. I spoke to the daughter of the owner about setting up an estimate. She was new on the job. It was difficult to schedule the service and kind of awkward. They are also in Akron which is pretty far from me. I would probably not hire the company again because of the distance. It was just strange how they set up the service. I feel like they were hoping to get a larger job out of me. The technician spent about an hour on the job. He did satisfactory work.
