"Work did not start as scheduled but was delayed. Once started it seemed to go fairly quickly. owner was never on site. We had an upcharge for electrical for the AC that was overlooked in their bid. They charged an additional $500 for this oversight. supervisor and two crew members completed the work. After completion supervisor had to be called back to connect duct work that was never connected to living room vents. After a week or so it became apparent something was not right as the AC unit would run without shutting off for days and barely maintained temp. Again supervisor was called out. He looked around and ended up adding a little freon but didn't measure how low it was. He then left. This did not seem to help the problem at all. We ended up calling a different company at this point for evaluation. They came out, took one look at everything and told us that none of our seams were sealed and because the house is on a crawl space/unfinished garage the system had been sucking dirt in from these open spaces and into our home. None of our duct work was insulated even though this is standard. Part of our condensation unit was never even hooked up, and the line obviously had leaks as the new guy added almost 3lbs (?) of antifreeze when it had just been topped off the week before. Again we called B&H, this time with a lot of questions and a bill. The owner acted apologetic even came out and looked things over. Stated that it was not done correctly and then instructed supervisor (who had ridden along) to make corrections. He looked around a little bit more and then drove off without saying goodbye or giving us a time frame for corrections. a few days later the supervisor came back and proceeded to insulate and seal seams. Owner although called repeatedly after this never did return calls or offer to cover expense of having another company tell us what he should have done to begin with. Horrible experience and we still feel completely unsettled with their "finished product" and plan to have it evaluated again shortly since they have completed.

"Great job. The A-coil was so dirty from the remodel that contractor had to use special chemicals to remove the sludge. He did that in about 45 minutes. Visited with us after and recommended a contractor to clean air ducts. I would recommend this contractor/business to others.

came out, called me before they headed my direction, so I could be there when they arrived and not have to waste time waiting for them to arrive.

Friend was prompt, courteous, and professional. My air conditioner was frozen. He told me how to thaw it out, and then returned the following day to add air coolant and check it for efficiency. I had asked him to help me nurse my unit along until fall when I was planning on buying a new system. He referred me to

L stopped by my home and dropped information off to my house--we couldn't come up with a time suitable for both of us to meet--it worked out that I was home. He was not pushy. He was professional and allowed me to make my own decisions. I will be purchasing a new unit with them during the MO no-sales-tax week in April. The $150 that I had to pay to have my system checked and fixed will be deducted from my bill when I buy a new system. Great company to work with.

"They were pretty good. I paid more because I had the spring tuned up. The guy told me all about the furnace. He was pretty helpful. He told me it was an electric furnace, and explained its advantages and disadvantages."

"Our A/C went out on Saturday afternoon during very hot weather. We originally called another company and left a msg on their machine, but didn't hear back from them. So we called

Sunday morning about 8:30 am. A human answered the phone and told us they could get somebody out that day between noon and 4pm. About an hour later, a tech called and told us they were about an hour away from arriving. Apparently the tech (Pat

) wasn't on call that day, but saw our call come in and took it upon himself to help out since the other techs were busy and he was closer to our location. He was there and had the problem fixed by 11:30 am, even earlier than they said they'd be able to show up! The part was on the truck (a capacitor went out) and he knew immediately what the problem was based on our description and list of things we'd checked before he got there. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! We were very happy with the service and will definitely keep the service tech's card handy for when we need HVAC work done in the future.

"They showed up when promised to provide an estimate. Workers were there when promised and finished in about 3 hours. They installed new flex duct, removed and hauled away the old ductwork. Everybody was polite and professional. Some confusion when they arrived to do the work as the estimate was for replacing ALL ductwork runs but workers thought they were just supposed to replace what was torn. They called for more duct, which was delivered quickly and didn't cause much delay. I was unhappy about the price because their Angie's List coupon stated "10% OFF SERVICE CALL PARTS & LABOR" but the sales person said that was just for new homes and he wouldn't honor the coupon for our job (I asked at the time he provided a quote, not after the work was done). I did not get other quotes, so I don't know how the actual price paid would compare."

arrived ahead of schedule and answered all of my questions while he worked on the unit. 30 minutes later, my house was cool again! With my Angie's List coupon for a $40 visit and the $129 capacitor, the visit was less expensive than I expected and worth every penny. We'll be calling

"I called Patriot, at noon when our A/C stopped working, and describe to the owner our situation and what I was seeing as a problem. It was very warm and humid that day, and he came out a few hours later that very day to look over our unit. It is a very old unit 15+ years, and had a pretty bad leak on it. He gave me a down to earth explanation on what we are looking at with an unit as old as ours. After servicing, he gave us a grace period to decide on whether to have his business to replace the unit, which would help toward the overall cost. I was very satisfied with his professionalism, and the manner in which explained our situation. I strongly recommend

went through a bunch of checklist problems determining that it was time to invest in a new a/c unit. He gave us a price quote on purchase and installation of what a new 3 ton unit would cost. NO pressure to buy, so we have an opportunity to shop and compare, which made use feel comfortable.

"This company also does the work on our

heating and cooling units. They do what they say and usually a little more at the price they quoted. As a matter of fact it was about 5 months after they gave me my bid that In had the money to have the work done.
