"We were kept waiting for 15 minutes before we even we were taken back to the examination room. We then had to wait for almost 45 minutes. While Dr.
did a good" examination of my father and recommended an x-
and antibiotics, she really didn't do that good a job with my mother, and barely looked at me. She doesn't really listen or seem to care about us as patients. She spent most of the time typing into the computer and barely looked at us - very limited bedside manner. Dr.
recommended that Mum see and ENT and we could get a list when we checked out but the front office didn't give us a list, and even after a phone call no ENT recommendations were made. When you call the office to make an appointment, ask for a refill or talk to the doctor - you have to go through the push phone button exercise - VERY DIFFICULT TO TALK TO A LIVE PERSON!!! PLEASE check your bills. My parents were being double and triple billed for the same visit. The company the practice uses for billing doesn't appear to post the checks quickly and automatically sends out bills each month. It took at least seven phone calls, and a detailed list of the invoices and payments before receiving a credit check. I feel sorry for other elderly patients who don't have anyone to look over the bills and be sure they are not being taken advantage of. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone.

"I have been using him for 25 years now. He has always kept me alive this long so that's pretty good. Obviously if I was not happy with him, I wouldn't have him that long." His office environment is fine. It's pretty easy to get an appointment. They have a walk-in center too so if I have an emergency and my doctor is not available for some reason, somebody else covers so that works out pretty good. I have been able to use that a couple of times. I have never known any doctor who is ever available on time. Their punctuality is fine. I never had to sit for an hour waiting for him. It's about 10-15 minutes the most. Usually what happens is when I am scheduled for tests, his assistant will take me in there and start drawing blood, take pulse, blood pressure, and measurements so it saves his time. All I have to do is walk in and he will look at me. They are lined with computers now so they wouldn't waste my time digging around for some records or even ask me questions because they don't have the information in front of them, but they have my history digitally now. His manner in the office is fine. His communication is great. I never ever felt like I was rushed by him that he didn't have time to answer some questions I might have. There is no problem in the billing department. I don't even see most of the bills. I have a copay and the insurance company takes care of the rest. I am going again on Monday for a check up.

He’s really a good guy. My overall experience was very good. Dr.
Anderson Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
wasn’t available but he has another person who works with him in the office. So he listens to my concerns carefully. I had bronchitis for the first time and he was conservative in his treatment which I appreciated. So he did the intelligent thing, and he did not give me antibiotics or other stuff. He gave me the minimal amount of treatment to help me recover. It was pretty good. So it wasn’t actually Dr.
Anderson Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
but it was his office.

He is full up. He doesn't have any more room for new people, but he is a wonderful doctor. He is located in Las Colinas
Anderson Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
building. He listens and he does the very best he can for your whole person. He doesn't just focus on one thing. They'll ask you at the beginning. They give you a little form to put three things that you'd like to talk about and then if there are any more that you probably need to make another appointment. He'll do as best to cover everything with you. He's very good at explaining. This is why I've been with him for 10 years. He's great. He is a general practitioner. Since I'm not a new person trying to get in, I don't have trouble getting in. I can usually get an appointment not for the same day, but for the next day if I needed. Office environment is great.

After searching for a physician in the insurance network from my husband's company, I found this office. I was excited at the proximity to my home and the fact that they do accept my insurance. Upon calling to schedule an appointment, I was told they were not accepting new patients. This is a statement I am hearing from nearly EVERY office I call. So, I guess new people to the area are not deserving of health care? I don't know, but I have special needs children on medication and really need help. Staff person on the phone was not rude but not terribly pleasant either on the phone and didn't seem to care that I can't find a physician. In fact, when I pointed out that every office I have called so far has said they aren't accepting patients, she just said "Ya." So this is clearly a known issue. In addition, when I asked if she could refer me to somebody, she simply stated I should go through the physicians on the list provided by my husband's job. Not terribly helpful since that is how I found THIS office and they aren't interested in my family.

I think my recent flu shot was indicative of a medical provider business that is arrogant and doesn't listen to their patients. Which is exactly what I experienced in my prior visit. After I got the shot I went to the outpatient desk and said I needed to give them my new insurance card. The girl there basically said no, you are all ready to go twice until I insisted that she take the card. On my first visit to this office I called another premier location which didn't have any availability so they suggested I contact this one. They said they could see me in two hours so I asked how much it would be to see the doctor. I was told $70. When I got to the office I asked again at the desk while signing in how much it would be. Again I was told $70. First I saw the nurse, then the doctor asked me a checklist of questions off her computer. You could tell she didn't believe what I was saying and asked me about depression maybe 5 or 6 times phrased in different ways. I wasn't looking for any pain pills or really any prescription. So then I had 2 blood sample tests. One they told me was $40 and I agreed to it. The other one they said they couldn't tell me the price because they didn't know. So I asked them to call the testing company and ask. The nurse comes back and says they can't determine what the price is. Well it turned out when I got the bill that the unknown blood test was $150. The office visit fee that I paid upon leaving was $170. I protested that I had been told twice that it would be $70 and the girl replies "sorry for the confusion." So why did I go back there for a flu shot? Because the office that my wife goes to said that since I wasn't a prior patient with them, I would have to take a full physical before they could give me a flu shot. Ridiculous all around.

I was not pleased with his service.

I will not recommend him to anyone. He treated me and provided some medications. He was not fairly knowledgeable of the interactions of the medications he was giving me and it caused me some problems. He sent me to someone else. It was a very bad experience.

She's very caring. One time I had a problem, I dropped by her office to make an appointment because I called and the office didn't call me back. She saw me immediately. That was surprising.

My experience with him is always good. He takes his time. He does not rush you. He spends like a-half-hour with each patient and he is a nice guy.
