Maple Grove Concrete Repair Contractors Reviews

"Bid was good, window selection worked well - Only because of budget restraints we postponed this job but hope to reconsider next spring.
"I needed some decorative concrete curbing repaired in the back yard. I called the company the end of August and it took several times before I talked to a human. When I finally got a hold of someone they told me they were taking care of small projects the first week of October and that someone would call me. During the first week of October I called again and I was told that the owner would contact me. I heard from the owner toward the end of October and they came out the first week of November. They showed up with their equipment and they did not have their own water supply, so I had to open the valves for our outdoor water since they had already been purged for the winter. They were neat and expeditious and matched my existing curbing very closely. I asked the owner and was concerned about the overnight freezing weather and the pouring of concrete at this late of a date but it has not cracked. Small job? They'll do a great job at a fair price but just be prepared to wait."
"Very unprofessional experience with this contractor; I cannot recommend them. I work for a property management company and oversee the hiring and management of contractors for all of our repair jobs for multiple properties. In this case, I contacted

to complete a tear out of an old brick front step and to replace it with new concrete. Bill, the owner of
Maple Grove Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
, came out to place a bid on the job. After settling all the details, we scheduled the work but then never heard back from them. Bill did not return a signed contract to us, he did not show up for the job, and he did not call or return calls to explain. When I finally got him on the phone prior to posting this review, he admitted that he had just decided he did not want the job because he did not want to sign a standard Independent Contractor Agreement. This is a standard document in the construction and remodeling industry which spells out the details of the job and the responsibilities of the contractor. Specifically, Bill stated that he did not agree with the included warranty section, however, the warranty information was based on the quote that Bill gave us directly during his bid. Communication is key when handling contracting jobs and in this case Bill should have made a phone call to us as soon as he received our paperwork. Then we would either work something out or cancel the job; not calling nor returning calls is an unacceptable response and very unprofessional, therefore I can not recommend this contractor.
"It went well. After having another company out to give an estimate, I knew there wouldn't be many companies willing to do a smaller patch job. The other company would either redo the entire steps for 3800 or repair and do a skim coat covering for about 1600, but said they wouldn't be able to patch it. So, I was pleased when
Maple Grove Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
agreed to patch the work. There obviously is discoloration and it doesn't look as good as redoing them altogether; however, for about 2/10 of the price, we now have safe, usable stairs!"
"The nightmare began from the beginning. Rather than breaking the steps out with a

hammer, Nick rammed a bobcat into them and broke them out in huge pieces. The bobcat damaged the cinder block foundation wall and the siding. He tied chains around my top step and pulled it out with the bobcat; it violently ripped a knee wall adjacent to the step off of its foundation. He drove the bobcat up and down my yard with out laying plywood to protect the yard. When he poured the new steps, he did not reposition the knee wall that was pushed off its foundation by over three inches, consequently the new step was not square and the wall was way out of alignment. He had the cement truck back onto my asphalt driveway, crumbling the edges where the tires cracked the driveway in several spots. They flushed out the cement truck in my front yard and landscape rock, burring it in two (plus) inches of semi-hard concrete. His repair effort was even worse (he only came because I stopped payment)."
"We are incredibly happy with the work

did! I have already recommended him to several friends and family members!

made the whole experience easy. He truly knows concrete, and was able to explain exactly the what and why of the work they needed to do so even I could understand. The old apron had sunk over time and the front sidewalk had also sunk and shifted - people would trip on it. The new sidewalk is truly a work of art with beautiful curves! The apron looks wonderful!

was really easy to work with and a really nice guy, as were his crew. He also gave me advice/information on how to patch/fix our front concrete porch ourselves. He came at the times he said he would. The work was done exactly when he said it would be. He even refixed the garage apron after my teenage son walked through it after it was poured! I will definitely use him again if we need concrete work done. Highly recommended!!!
"Overall, love the quality.

"They were extremely careful with flowers and landscaping lining the area of the project. Quick, reliable and cleaned up at the end of the project. I would highly recommend.

was a pleasure to work with."
"Everything went well. With the wet weather, other jobs were pushed back, which delayed the concrete work a bit, but that was expected. The concrete apron looks good, I am glad we added it. The asphalt looks very nice. I have had 2 people come to my door to ask who did the work, as they want to hire the same contractor.
"The owner
Maple Grove Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
was professional and friendly. He inspected our existing problems of an old sunken and cracked driveway and also a sidewalk that had sunk and pulled away from the house. He provided good suggestions to correct problems regarding our driveway because of an elevation change and also how to correct a step height problem. He provided a competitively priced bid. They tore out all of the old asphalt and concrete, graded, built up, filled in and leveled as needed and then replaced the asphalt driveway to include a 4' concrete apron up to the garage and also concrete side steps. They also replaced the sidewalk and steps up to the house so the incline and step height was corrected. We were pleased with the entire process and the conpleted project and would recommend
