Contractor was recommended by another Angie's List provider (a plumber). I thought I needed a sump pump to address an issue of water in the basement.

came to the house and listened to the description of my problem. Instead of bidding a sump pump for me he recommended that I have the window wells dug out and replaced. This saved me a considerable amount of money and has taken care of my issue.
The workman showed up and spent an afternoon digging in extremely hard clay soil. He replaced the window wells and was even very friendly to my 5 year old son who wanted to watch the whole process. I think they did a great job and were reasonable on the price. I like that they were able to assess my issue and provide a lower cost solution than I had anticipated.

aWe had water coming out the wall of our subterranean garage, sometimes just dampness sometimes a trickle and sometimes gushing. The cinder block was starting to crumble a bit. We could get water to come out by pouring a large bucket of water next to our neighbor's driveway. However, the gushing seemed to happen at random, and not when it rained or when any visible water was on the surface outside. This contractor told us he was absolutely certain that this was ground water, he sees this all the time, and we should just prime and paint the wall with a sealant paint to prevent the water coming out. We had a competing bid from a contractor who was proposing to tunnel below the wall and create drainage for the water into our sump pump, but this contractor said that was a complete waste of time and money. (Though his price for priming and painting was more than the other contractor's doing all the digging, drainage installation, re-paving, priming and painting.) Furthermore, he had said he'd charge us $150 just for the estimate if it turned out we didn't use his services, but he spent no more than 10 minutes on site and I believe that he didn't actually invoice us. We subsequently figured out on our own that the neighbors' sewer line had broken and the water gushing was happening when they ran their laundry machines etc.

When you run into a problem with your foundation, it can be one of the most stressful things to deal with. Well calling
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
was the best thing we could have done. From the first phone call to set up an appointment until the job was done, they made the process so much better then it was going without them.
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
came out and did measurements and let us know what we needed done. He was VERY professional and knew what he was talking about. He answered all of my questions with no problem (and trust me, I had plenty of them) We set up an appointment to get 20 Steel piers installed. It was supposed to be a two day job. The crew that came out was awesome. They were done ahead of time. Took 1 and 1/2 days. And you cannot even tell they were here. Well by looking outside that is. Inside the house you can tell by the closing doors and the big cracks on the walls and tiles that just closed up before our eyes. The crew had to dig up some of our plants and planted them back when they were done. Everything about the experience with

was SUPERB!! I would recommend them to anybody looking for this type of work to be done. Only thing I would have changed about the whole ordeal would be to have called them sooner. They are the BEST!! Thanks to ALL of you at

We had been trying to decide for over two years what company to install piers at our residence. After the drought in 2012, it became evident that something had to be done. We received estimates from at least 4-5 companies over the years with prices ranging from $12,000.00 to $50,000.00 and the number of piers required from 12 to 38. Needless to say, making a decision was not easy. We paid an engineer to evaluate our home so we had an idea where piers might be needed.

, worked with us more than any other company. He made himself available at all times, answered any questions or concerns we brought up, and provided us with exactly what we needed in order for us to make the best possible decision. We requested a City Permit for the job as required by the city of Olathe and
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
even took care of that for us.
The crew installing the piers was fantastic. That was another one of Mr.
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
's strong points - he made sure we had the best crew for the job. Our installation was actually delayed because the crew involved was working out of town at the time but it was definitely worth the wait. They were polite, extremely hard-working and did a good job putting the involved areas back as they were. The crew hand-dug all of the areas for the piers; no heavy equipment nor excavation was needed in order for our piers to be installed. The piers involved were outside except for 3 in the garage but even those were hand-dug.

I called
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
because they work with water damage. I explained my worries over the phone because I didn't want Mr.
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
to have to make a trip over here if he could not do the work. Mr.
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
came over anyway, looked at my kitchen floor and agreed that it would have to be replaced, but he does not replace floors. Even then, he crawled under my house, told me it was wet because of condensation and that I would need to open all the vents - which he did for me, and that I may not need to replace any of the floor joists (which is something he does).
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
suggested I contact a home remodeler to get the floor replaced, then said that if they thought the joists needed to be replaced and they could not do it, to call him back and he would do it.
After all of that he chaged me nothing. He would not even take a couple of dollars to get a cold drink - it was 95 degrees outside yesterday. I couldn't ask more. He treated me like a friend.

reviewed the property and advised that we didn't currently require foundation repair. He spent a significant amount of his time allowing us to ask questions about how best to control the settling of our home to prevent requiring remediation in the future and suggested potential landscape contractors to assist with improving the grading around the perimeter of the home. Greatly appreciate his honesty and his willingness to educate us.

, arrived on time and performed an inspection of the foundation of my house. He inspected the slab from the exterior and then took measurements of the relative elevations of the slab from numerous locations in all rooms of my house. He produced a floor plan diagram which displayed all of the variations in elevation throughout the house. He discussed three different methods of foundation repair and which method he would recommend for my house. Later in the same day, he emailed me an estimate for those repairs. Although it's obvious that my foundation has been shifting as evidenced by sticking doors, cracks radiating from doorways and windows, cracks in masonry and cracks where drywall is pullingapart at the seams,
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
was very honest in explaining that at this time no repairs were actually necessary. It appears that the expansive soils under my house have been flexing the slab and producing the visible damage over a period in excess of 20 years, but at this time it has returned to a relatively level position with the maximum variation in elevation being less than an inch. The estimate for repairs would be for the purpose of stabilizing the slab to prevent any future movement. I am so happy with the total experience I had with this company. The other review that I copied was exactly to the point. Hard to find good honest service providers these days. This company is a rare gem. You will not go wrong with

Let me first say that if I could, I would adopt the owner. He went so far above and beyond what he had to do, or needed to do to get our business, that I will be eternally grateful. If there was a rating above "A", he certainly deserves it. We were locked into a contract with another basement company to the tune of $21,000. He made us realize that they scared us into buying a submarine when all we needed was a rowboat. He took it upon himself to guide us in getting out of the contract without any guarantee that we would eventually go with his company. He said that that it just made him angry that another company was trying to take advantage of us.
After getting out of the 'oversold" contract, CJ sat down with us and told us what we needed to do to fix the problem, and the best way to do it. He oversaw all the work and they were finished in two days. The workers that he had with him were so nice and professional, and worked extremely hard to get the job done, considering it was 90 degrees or above most of the time they were working.
The price that he charged was 1/10 of the other company, and he also gave us a lifetime guarantee that the problem wouldn't come back. For two retired people, this gave us a great feeling, and we knew we had made the right decision.
If you need any basement work done, or if there is a water problem anywhere in your house, I couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend this company. At least give him a shot to see if he can help you half as much as he helped us.
