"I felt comfortable using them because the engineer they sent to do the estimation took time to explain what they would do and why. He answered all my questions and was very courteous. AND . . . he is an engineer.
I had four different companies out to look at my house and Continental was the best in terms of understanding what was going on with my foundation and also in terms of price per pile.
The repair did not disrupt my life as much as I thought it would.
The day after my house was leveled I began to see the cracks in the sheetrock close.
They did more than I expected in the clean up afterwards.
I'm very impressed and recommend them highly.

"I callled

on a reference from a friend. We scheduled two assessments and quotes back to back. The first was one of the larger firms who gave an honest assessment to some remediation plumbing work, wait, the decide if we needed to add piers to level the foundation. I was totally buying this pitch because it was conservative, but it included a $375 assessment of the plumbing so that I could call my insurance company to tell them that I a had "verified" leak in the plumbing under the foundation. When I called the insurance company, I found out that I didn't need to have a first inspection on it. They would inspect it anyway. I feel that he was setting me up, knowing that there is a plumbing issue, to pay them for the plumbing repairs, then wait six months. After this time is when the piers come in "if needed" at a cost of $14,000.

's assessment was to level the house first, then address plumbing issues. After he explained it, it made much more sense to move the house first, then redo the plumbing instead not visa versa.

's quote to do the piers was less than have the cost of the larger firm for the whole project with a recommendation to do only part now and if necessary, the other part later. This second option was less than 1/3 of the price for the original.

"Right from the first contact, I was impressed by Stable Lift. Their professional manner was very appealing. When
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
came to provide the bid, he was thorough, pleasant and not at all flip about the seriousness of the repair. I explained I would not be making a decision right away, and
Little Canada Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
gave me the space to consider all the bids I had received, but it struck me that this company was so proud of their work that they invited to to come to other job sites in the area to see work in progress. No other company even offered an option like this. Once I selected Stable Lift to do the work, we selected a date to begin in February. My only issue with any of this was that on Friday before the work was to start I got a call that said - we'll be there Monday, and then on Sunday afternoon I got another call that said they would not be able to start on Monday, but would start on Tuesday. In the grand scheme of things, it was a minor frustration. Once they arrived on site, they knew exactly what had to be done - marked out the locations of the piers and began work. They were only minimally invasive to the landscape around my house (and in my neighbor's yard). This was the tidiest work I've ever seen. All the holes were small (12"-18" across) and all the dirt from each hole went into a trash bag. They pressed each pier down to the bedrock with a large generator and hydraulic piston. The first day they completed 1/2 the hole/piers and the next day completed the rest. At the end of day 2, many more Stable Lift employees appeared to do the actual leveling of the house. It was choreographed like a ballet recital. Every guy knew exactly what he should be doing and where he should be. The actual leveling went very quickly and then the clean up was nothing less than amazing. They worked like a well-oiled machine! Within an hour they had all the piers welded in place, any excess pipe/pier cut off, holes all filled back in, patios (pavers/brick) put back close to how they found it, hard scape (I have river rock) back in place, concrete filling the 2 holes they had to break in my driveway, and all their gear loaded up and ready to go. It was impressive! They checked to make sure all the interior doors worked and even did a minor repair on my front door (not really part of the leveling process, but it works great now!). Now I will wait a bit to have the interior fixed (old/new cracks in the drywall, etc).
The only thing I was not expecting (and really, I should have expected it) was that when we leveled the garage, the garage door tracks were bent and I had to have that repaired for it to be usable. Good advice that if you're getting your foundation leveled, to have a garage door repair person on standby.
I have already recommended Stable Lift to a few friends who are having foundation issues! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work done!

"After setting up an appointment with

"these guys were professional from the start. they arrived on time and gave a timely and detailed written bid for the work a few days later. sadly we could not use them (or anyone) as the driver who caused the damage to our wall was underinsured and we were not willing to spend the time away from work to go to court over it to get a suitable amount to repair the issue. given my interactions with these guys in person and via phone I would call them back in a heartbeat for a similar repair or recommend them to friends. Of the three bids we got they were right in the middle and had the most comprehensive details of what they would and would not do. Very clear and very honest. "

"They arrived as schedules and complete the work in estimated time. Work was completed and effectively matched to our desires and issue to be resolved. Their history and knowledge of the area we live in, is invaluable to the projects

"I I have sent you this information before, but will send it again, probably not exactly as I worded it before.
The work was explained to us very nicely before they started so we would know what to expect. The workmen were very kind and courteous. They did a pretty good job of keeping the areas in the house that they had to go through as clean as they could. The job was to take two weeks, but they were able to finish one day early, which was great since Christmas was the next week . All in all, I feel that it went well and their guarantee for the lifetime of the house gave me great comfort.

"Explained what the work would encompass, approximate location of piers to be installed, number of piers and how the piers are push to resistance to establish a stable foundation. Will use when we can afford to start work.
