I can only describe my experience having my flooring
installed as unprofessional. The
measuring was done "in record time" only to find out he didn't do it
properly and there was not enough material to finish the job properly, only
later did we find out the material that was needed was no longer available so...More /> we had to compromise on finish pieces. The installer was completely
inexperienced in the job of installing a laminate floor and was unable to even
complete the job around my bi-fold doors and patio door. He used a nail gun to attach the 1/4
round molding to hold the floor down and left huge holes in it that required
spackle before painting. Also he was unable to unhook/rehook the icemaker,
thankfully my husband was able to do it.
Before he left I asked what was the plan for the huge "gap"
between the floor and the base of the doors and he said, "I dunno, maybe
you could caulk it". WHAT!!!
Since the transition pieces were no longer available, remember they were not
ordered properly the first time, the flooring manager tried to "make
due" with pieces he purchased and stained to match the floor. They were the complete wrong material
and the surface was rough, completely unlike the floor and the 1 piece of
transition that did match the floor.
So at that point
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
considered the job complete. I had 5 transition areas and 3
different un-matching pieces. On
my own I was able to find pieces that matched the floor and they finally did
get installed. It took 3 months
for my floor to be finished. I
don't suggest you EVER allow anyone from this company to do any work in your
home, you have been warned, consumers beware.

Carpet was good but I had to constantly watch for the hurry up and get out attitude of the crew. Had to have them re adjust minor issues. Installers broke our mirror glass closet doors. Back splash tiles were crooked and had to be redone on one surface and some are still crooked. Wood thresholds had to redone due to wrong size material ordered.
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
even sent my email with concerns to the installers which is a Huge lack of professionalism.

We have used
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
before and we're very happy. They are prompt, friendly and very fast. The sales person took a lot of time with us and came up with a really cost effective wood to match the style we were thinking of. The installers worked very quickly and the whole process went very quickly.

Absolutely Horrible. They had to
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
the floor three times due to incompetence. Had to fight "tooth-and-nail" with
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to respond. After the first laminate flooring was laid (very unevenly and shabbily, with large marsh-

holes into which you would sink as you walked across it), Mr.
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
came out and walked on it and said it was perfectly normal. As I said, we had to fight tooth-and-nail, hire an expert witness (registered Professional Engineer) and threaten a lawsuit to get a response from these guys. Then they tried to level the floor and made it even worse. At this point, it was like a small roller-coaster. Having no floor, and no place to live during this whole ordeal,
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
essentially forced us to pay another ~ $5,000 to fix the mess they made. It was a horrible experience and even now, 8 years later, I still want to vomit when I think about their workmanship, the owner's callous attitude, and the pain and suffering they put my wife, small child, and me through during a very long multi-week ordeal.

Carpet One did a great job. My office and the stairway leading up to it had old carpet with little or no padding underneath. Carpet One visited the building and gave me a prompt quote to remove the old carpet, put down padding and new commercial grade carpeting. The completed the job quickly and professionally, I'm very happy.

All installation was performed by sub-contractors with varying levels of quality, care, and customer satisfaction. The house-brand engineered hardwood flooring product was beautiful in appearance but, as it turns out, is very, very susceptible to scratching and denting (not highly resilient) (for reference: walnut engineered flooring, From The Forest brand). The day after installation we found numerous scratches in the hardwood flooring left behind from the installation process itself. Then with subsequent construction activities, additional damage was done to the flooring. While some was due to negligence by the construction contractors, we have also found that over the 2 short weeks we've had this material in our house that it is very easily scratched and dented in everyday wear & tare. I can't recommend this particular hardwood product to other customers. The carpet installation by their carpeting sub-contractors was very poorly performed and required a follow-up visit to get the edging properly laid down. Still, there were corners where the edges were not at all flush with the wall and will require additional service visits to patch-up the bald spots. So far,
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
has been responsive to our calls for follow-up service and we anticipate that they will follow through to resolve these installation mishaps. However, we selected
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
(as opposed to cheaper options or big-box providers) assuming that their product quality and installation services would be top-notch and would not require so much follow-up attention.

I walked into their showroom and met
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. He showed me a number of different carpets, quoted the prices and gave me samples so that I could compare how they would look inside my unit. Initially his quote was based on square yards, but I told him I only wanted the final price since there are so many variables beyond the "square yard" number and he complied with my request. I thought his quoted price was very fair - he wanted to make a sale. I am in the commercial real estate business and so I have some familiarity with carpet prices. I also recently had obtained another quote from a "deep discounter" that in the end was higher than

's.
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
personally visited the unit to inspect the condition of the floor for the hardwood and linoleum and appeared to focus on a number of trim issues that I typically do not see carpet people looking at. They appeared to be very busy since the first opening for installation was 3-4 weeks out. However,
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
then called back and said they could fit me in within several days due to a cancellation. Two workers came at 9:00 a.m. and they stayed until 7:30 p.m. (rather than coming back the next day to finish the work). Work was professional. Overall, a very positive experience.

I recently purchased a new home that needed some updating. I called
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to install a floating hardwood floor on my first level. The representative was awesome and knew exactly what I wanted. He said after the floors went in they would put new quarter round and there would be extra wood pieces incase something needed to be replaced down the line. On install day the two workers were great and explained everything to me. He said he would call me an hour before he was ready to wrap up because it was an all day project. When I arrived everything looked good. He showed me the remaining payment and our numbers were different. It turns out that the representative didn't do his math correctly. They also missed putting quarter round in certain places and left me with NO replacement wood. I mailed the check for the discrepancy and was told he would find out about the extra pieces and quarter round. Obviously my check was cashed and I didn't receive a phone call.... They did a great job and I bought quarter round for $2 at Home Depot (not a big deal). But don't tell me I will have extra pieces and I don't...and don't say you'll call me back to rectify the situation and you don't. I also think the money difference should have been picked up by
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
due to the problems and the representative's mistake. I would use them again, but double check everything!!

When I first contacted
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, I asked if he could replace damaged carpet with some extra carpet that I had on hand. He quoted me a price based on that description of the job. When he arrived, it was determined that the extra carpet that I had was not enough to complete the job.
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and his assistant were able to still complete the job using the carpet I had provided with salvaged (usable) pieces from the damaged carpet that was removed. I did have to pay extra for the additional labor involved in this patchwork-type of project, but it was still cheaper than if I had purchased new carpeting for this space. The finished product looks beautiful! Thank you

I visited the store in West
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
on the encouragement of another hardwood flloor installer who used tp work for
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
. And I understand now why he encouraged me to do so. When you walk in this store you feel like you just walked into a car dealership! There is no browsing in this store. The woman at the reception desk accost you with a stern "may I help you". AN once you free yourself from that you are promptly swarmed by a salesperson. I explained on first contact that I was looking for hardwood floor for a "slab concrete ground floor install" completely understand that this limits your choice of product and install methods. And I explained that I really would like 3/8 inch solid hardwood as my first choice of product, showing the person a sample of a 3/8 inch Wenge hardwood I have received from BR-111 that is no longer available. The sales person greeted me with a frown/furrowed
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and began to tell me how high heels with ding and scatch this very easy....mind you I am a male. no high heels. And had she asked she would have known I am a bachelor with no pets (so I can indulge myself with white furniture and dark hardwood floors). Nonetheless she showed me a few engineered wood floors in dark colors explaining constantly during the encounter that they rarely install dark hardwood floors and reiterating comments about heel
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and scratches at which point I countered that one of the products she was showing me has a jenga hardness of almost 3000 (very hard and durable). All of these options priced out at $11.50 to $14.00 sq foot installed and on average about 1.50 to 2.00 dollars more than other A+ rated installers. She then recommended that I could consider 3/8 inch solid unfinished maple and stain with dark with a "water pop". However, 10 minutes later she began telling me that engineered was the only option "they" would install as they will not service solid (not even 3/8) installed on concrete due to buckling issues from moisture regardless of what the manufacturer says. Hence, 30 minutes into this ordeal she finally tells me that I am not able to get what I came into the store for....3/8 inch solid hardwood.
Now here is where it gets even more odd. I called a few other top rate (A+ on Angies List) hardwood installers who had previously said they will install and warranty a 3/8 or 5/8 inch solid hardwood install and asked them about an install of 3/8 inch unfinished maple stained dark at the on-site. And they all said that even their best installers will not do this given that even with a "water pop" maple stains very blotchy and is nearly impossible to get a uniform dark stain on the job site. That this is only possible with factory/machine stainings (Mirage,
Isle Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
etc).
Not only did I find this to be a rather irritating encounter but I ultimately came to the conclusion that the expertise of the installation here is not worthy of an A+ rating given their advice and comments. I think if you are looking for a light colored hardwood floor (3/4 solid on above ground install or engineered) these might be your people if you are willing to pay $1.00 to $2.00 a sq foot more than the other A+ rated Angie's installers
