"The stylist arrived on-time with all the equipment necessary to shampoo, cut and set my mother's hair in any room of the house that we wanted. We choose to" do it in my mother's bedroom where she was the most comfortable at the time. Yes they shampooed her hair in the bedroom using their equipment, cut and set her hair as well as brought the proper equipment to clean up when they were done. My mother has not smiled so big in a long time until seeing herself with her hair fixed up. The stylist was extremely friendly and attentive to my mother's needs/wants and was extremely efficient in completing the job in a timely manner. Everyone I had to deal with was extremely friendly and professional from the person who took the appointment and explained the services to the stylist who arrived at our home. We are most definitely call them back for my mom's next cut. My mom couldn't be more pleased.

Hair Salon reviews in Greenbush

has cut my hair for 15 years. She is just a great barber. She is a hairdresser and that’s their business but I have found that I’d rather to go to a hairdresser than a male barber. Women are much smarter than men are. I got what I wanted. She cuts my hair the way I want to. The pricing is good. It wouldn’t matter what she charges me, I'd still go.

I was able to get an appointment very easily, as mentioned here in other reviews, which was really a bonus. I arrived on time and was told I would be with the stylist who was ready for me. I was the only customer in the salon. I asked for the stylist to make the new highlights look lighter than my older highlights. He said he would put in "some contrast" to make the highlights stand out-- I didn't realize that meant lowlights until I was being charged at the end of the visit. If he had used that term explicitly, I would have asked more clarifying questions about the lowlights he intended to put in my hair. He worked to put my hair in foil efficiently enough; and, he did offer to turn me so that I could watch TV, which I thought was polite. Several issues caused me to
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
down my rating. I marked down because my stylist left me under the hot drier for what I felt like was millennia while he trimmed the hair of a male college student who walked in. I wasn't offered water or checked on by the receptionist (whom I believe to be the owner) while my stylist was occupied. I marked down because I asked for a hair cut and I got a hair trim without any layers put in or without any shaping of my face. If I wanted the trim I got, I would have asked for a trim or I would have gone to Hair Cuttery. It was also unnecessarily painful while my stylist was combing out my washed hair after the color was put in, and it seemed like he was too rushed/rough to notice I was uncomfortable. I marked down for the overall price of my service, as I felt I overpaid for a lowlight service which was glossed over during our initial conversation so that I could be up-charged for another service. To be honest, I can't even see the lowlights and would have liked them darker if I knew I was getting them! I was underwhelmed with my service for the amount of money I paid.

My experience has been great. Their pricing is very good and they get you in and out in time quickly. They're just nice people. My stylist is very clean and it's run very well, very organized.
- Preston M.

The cost depends on what I am getting. Their location is close to the stores I frequent. They are always professional. They always fit me in even if it is like one of the last things there. I have used different stylists and I have been happy with all of them. They have any kind of service that I might need like facials, massage, hairstyling or anything. So it is kind of like a one stop shop. They are affordable.

My hairdresser is wonderful. Her name is
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
. She started out in a salon and now she is on her own with her own little business. She works in a place called Salon Suites but she has her own private little company. She is independent and rents space there. She is very personable. She is easy to get along with and easy to talk to. Her service is very good.

First visit was a success.
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
is fantastic--a very talented stylist who puts you at ease. His portion of this review is a resounding "A." I immediately scheduled a second appointment (via the receptionist) two months out, which was today.
Today I called to confirm my appointment since I hadn't received a call, and the phone was answered by a woman. I asked if I could confirm my appt today, and she said in a slightly annoyed
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
"HOLD on, I have to walk up front to check." When I said "Thank you," she replied, "Yep."
(As an aside, If I could take any two responses to "thank you" out of society, it would be "no problem" and "yep," both of which sound unprofessional at best.)
It turns out that the receptionist had written my appointment down for March (3 months out) by mistake. This of course is my side of it, as the woman merely said "We have you down for March," without an apology, etc. She did apologize when I said "I'll be sure to make sure we are both on the same page next time an appointment is made." To which she replied "Sorry." I am not above making a mistake on my calendar, but I AM above having 100-day root growth, LOL. I don't schedule appointments 3 months out.
Upon checking my calendar, I'm unfortunately working or out of town a lot the next few months and can't schedule another appointment. Not just that, but upon contemplating it...if I'm going to spend almost $200 on a service, I'd like for even the schedulers to be as skilled at customer service as the stylists.
If I could rate just
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
, he'd have 5 stars and and A. If I rated the front desk skills, they would definitely be lacking. Hence the C rating.

We found
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List when she was still with P3 Hair Design and I've gone to her ever since. She has the experience to know just how to cut and style my hair so that it looks right and grows out right, not an easy task, believe me! And the gray-white mousy color is gone too, replaced with a much younger looking brown. The color she uses blends in nicely and just makes me feel younger.

's friendly and a good conversationalist. The new shop,

's, has a nice kind of "homey" feel to it-less like a sterile beauty salon and more friendly, I think. All in all,a pleasant experience, easy to get to from Richfield. I'd highly recommend it.

I went in to the
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
as a "snowbird" from Minnesota looking for a stylist. Found this

on Google with good ratings on Yelp. My appointment was with
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
. I originally had an appointment about 2 weeks prior that I had to change which she graciously accommodated. My hair color was a brassy red and she changed it to a warm, medium brown. I actually brought in a wig and she matched that color. Cut and style was also great. People in
Greenbush Hair Salons Provider Name Locked
were very friendly out outgoing - even the clients. Will definitely be going back.
