"We had to make our service appointment about 4 weeks out because they were so busy. We had plans for a trip 4 days after the appointment. We dropped it off the evening before the appointment" in their parking lot using the night drop box hoping they would get to it first thing in the morning. My hubby called that afternoon and left a message. He called several times the next day and the day after but only able to leave a message. Finally the 4th day (day before our trip) he spoke with a person only to be told they had to order a part that would take 2 weeks to ship in. We arrived 1 hour before closing time, for service, to pick it up. They wrote a ticket and gave it to their man to bring it out front. We waited, waited, and waited while watching them move 5 trailers around, close up and even reminding them once about our trailer. I went inside to find someone with real authority while my hubby stood outside to be sure the service manager saw him before driving off with our trailer still in the back. I got the owner of the business who finally made things move. The service idiot put the ticket in his pocket and forgot and nobody bothered to remind him! He did give us a quick apology but his managers had already left. As we drove off my hubby said we'll drive an hour out of our way to avoid this place. My amazing hubby was able to buy what he needed from Home Depot, watch several videos and made the repair himself.

was very knowledgeable, over the phone he explained what it was going to cost for him to come out and what we were looking at as far as the repair as we described" it over the phone. We scheduled an appointment, which was next day
was on time and ready to work. He checked everything over and explained again what it was and that he would submit to insurance and would be replacing it in a few days. I was relieved that he did the insurance part for us too. We were referred to him by our camping neighbors and very glad we had him to help. The air conditioner works great and if we need any other
repair we will be calling

"It went very well. I noticed noise and vibration from my trailer. I use it all the time to move lawn mowers, carry construction materials and such to my cottage. I was on my way" back and it started making noise. We looked at it and decided we didn't have the know how to do anything with it. Limped home because it was late and nowhere we could leave it safely. Dropped it off and explained the situation. They weren't sure the axle was undamaged. If the axle was damaged beyond use, the trailer would be a write-off. More expensive to fix than worth. Would have to buy a new one. Something like $1,200. They fixed it up and were able to remount both wheels without problems. Although they had to do some extra work on the axle. The repair cost was a very reasonable $120. I would have been happy with $200 or less. I have gotten my trailer inspected there each year. And a few spare parts and such. I bought it there originally. In the past I had one special trailer brake that I needed for a large camper I borrowed. They could have done the work but they told me they would have to charge more than another dealer because they didn't know my vehicle setup. So they recommended that we go to the other dealer for that job. Always friendly. Always a nice job. I like dealing with local merchants like these.

Recreational Vehicle reviews in Forest Lake

The provider made an appointment for September 12th but did not show up. Called him to leave a message to straighten this out and reschedule but no answer and his message box is full, could not leave message. The provider must be experiencing some sort of an emergency, will withhold any comments until he contacts me, I'm sure there is an explanation, don't want to give the provider a negative review without his explanation, I'm sure he will eventually provide the service contracted for in a satisfactory manner. It is a bit disconcerting that telephone contact cannot be made as of this date, that is why I assume some emergency must have occurred.

First let me state that we purchased a used Class A Motorhome from

last year. The provided a PDI saying that everything was working to specification. Turns out that the ABS sensor light (which they supposedly fixed) came on again while we were driving (through the mountains no less),and melted causing the brakes to pit. We took it to

's in

for servicing since I was leery about

since they had already told us it was fixed. Turns out the part was under recall which

should have known about and fixed. Because they didn't fix it and said it was, it cost us $236 for new brakes due to the ABS sensor failure. In addition, the camper needed 6 new tires which cost $2100+ which we were never informed about. Beware the RV Sales department.
At that time I decided that I would shop at their store for camper merchandise, but I would never return for service.
I made an exception today because all I needed was to have an inspection for the state of NC so I could purchase my annual tag. This inspection should take 30 minutes. I made an appointment two weeks ago. When I arrived, I was told that my appointment was a half hour earlier (it wasn't, I had written it down in my calendar), but that they would still do the inspection. TWO HOURS later, I was first leaving. There was only one service adviser who wasn't at the desk most of the time (I think he was hiding in the back from his customers).
A 30-minute $13.60 inspection cost me 2 hours of my time. Most of the time, the rig was just sitting in the bay with no one even looking at it. Needless to say, I will NEVER return for RV SALES OR SERVICE again. Shop in the store, but beware the sales and service practices and useless, worthless, second-rate, lousy, horrible customer service!

The new RV has ruined the only two vacations we used it for and they are unable to fix it in a timely manner. They delay, lie, and stonewall any attempts to progress towards a proper resolution. The brand new motorhome has been in for servicing for 40 days and counting.

corporate has refused to step up and correct the many obvious issues, even in the face of starting documentation. Even the CEO refuses to reply to our requests. More info will soon be posted at BUYER BEWARE.

He was early, started right away, had all the parts with him, finished in about half an hour, cleaned up and charged exactly what he estimated it would be. What could be better? We bought a toilet thinking we could install it ourselves. When we found the cost of one tool $57 and he charged $66, it was a no brainer. We never used his services before, but are so glad he was available.

We scheduled a two week vacation in Florida that went horribly wrong. We noticed water damage on our slide, and the next day our a/c went out. To make matters worse, we found bubbles all over the fiberglass exterior.
We contacted several repair facilities who gave us estimates that were much more than the camper was worth. Then we found

replaced the a/c, fixed the leak, and, when we found additional damage, worked until he had re-framed, replaced, painted, and attached almost an entire side on the camper.
Once you find water damage, it just gets worse. We found several places that had to be completely dismantled and rebuilt.

was able to take care of everything - including the bubbles on the fiberglass. Chasing those has been the bane of our existence.
We have one more set of bubbles to clear. With any (good) luck,

should be done today. I have hope.
On the positive side, we have made two long camp-outs, and a few long weekend treks, with no issues. All of the repairs have held up wonderfully.

Vent fan has broken again. Roof vent that was broken was not fixed the two times they came to work on
Forest Lake Rv Sales Dealers Provider Name Locked
. More light switches are broken. Refrigerator they claimed could not work in the winter (we have winter package) just for me to find out I only had to turn it off and back on for it to work (pilot light went out). They broke my door that I told them was not sealing properly and owner said that is how they fix it (literally put a piece of wood in door and slammed door on it). Toilet is broken, bed lift, stairs, mattress, too much to go on. This is less than a year old and bought outright.
Horrible horrible place.

I bought their policy because of the price. I did not see any negative online reviews. I just encountered a hail storm.

wants to depreciate my a/c units, awnings, and antenna's by %60. The motor home is only 6 years old. All the awnings where in great shape. The a/c's worked perfectly. I will now pay my high deductible, and 3116.00 more. The RV dealership cringed when I told them who my insurance company was. The adjuster told me every job he has done for them, the owner ends up paying way more than they would have with another insurer. I wish I had known before hand. This insurance company has me paying $4116.00 above what they are paying. What a rip off company.
