We scheduled a two week vacation in Florida that went horribly wrong. We noticed water damage on our slide, and the next day our a/c went out. To make matters worse, we found bubbles all over the fiberglass exterior.
We contacted several repair facilities who gave us estimates that were much more than the camper was worth. Then we found

replaced the a/c, fixed the leak, and, when we found additional damage, worked until he had re-framed, replaced, painted, and attached almost an entire side on the camper.
Once you find water damage, it just gets worse. We found several places that had to be completely dismantled and rebuilt.

was able to take care of everything - including the bubbles on the fiberglass. Chasing those has been the bane of our existence.
We have one more set of bubbles to clear. With any (good) luck,

On the positive side, we have made two long camp-outs, and a few long weekend treks, with no issues. All of the repairs have held up wonderfully.

Vent fan has broken again. Roof vent that was broken was not fixed the two times they came to work on
Forest Lake Rv Sales Dealers Provider Name Locked
. More light switches are broken. Refrigerator they claimed could not work in the winter (we have winter package) just for me to find out I only had to turn it off and back on for it to work (pilot light went out). They broke my door that I told them was not sealing properly and owner said that is how they fix it (literally put a piece of wood in door and slammed door on it). Toilet is broken, bed lift, stairs, mattress, too much to go on. This is less than a year old and bought outright.
Horrible horrible place.

I bought their policy because of the price. I did not see any negative online reviews. I just encountered a hail storm.

wants to depreciate my a/c units, awnings, and antenna's by %60. The motor home is only 6 years old. All the awnings where in great shape. The a/c's worked perfectly. I will now pay my high deductible, and 3116.00 more. The RV dealership cringed when I told them who my insurance company was. The adjuster told me every job he has done for them, the owner ends up paying way more than they would have with another insurer. I wish I had known before hand. This insurance company has me paying $4116.00 above what they are paying. What a rip off company.

I have used a handy local
Forest Lake Rv Sales Dealers Provider Name Locked
service for almost 15 years. It has always been a contentious relationship. The last service repair was a third attempt at getting the water heater to stop leaking when the pressure relief valve was near temperature shutoff. I paid for all three service calls and it came close to $600. Still leaks. My wife discovered that the manual explained that

I found Mr.

's website. I immediately discounted it, thinking that such a service would be way to expensive. But, to make sure, I decided to call him and find out. I was prepared to spend as much as $120 for the service call, $275 for the converter, two hours labor at $90 each for $180, miscellaneous taxes, etc for $100. That comes to $675.

is a pleasant young man who is honest, does nice work and is inexpensive. His service call (he calls it a mobile service fee) is only $60. That alone is reason to use his services - he comes to me! The converter was only $190, the labor came to $75 per hour for 1.5 hours for $112. Taxes and shipping and shop fees, etc., came to a grand total of $387, $288 less than what I was willing to pay! I was so impressed by him that I gave him a $20 cash gratuity!
There is a problem with his business card which can be confusing. The website address, on the business card does not work. The correct website address is

Got the job done quickly and conveniently.

Cons: doesn't do warranty work (recalled item), but did identify the issue. Left waste, trash from work laying around.

We were preparing our 35 foot

with two slide outs for sale when one of the slide-outs snapped a cable and could not be used. We frantically called around to find anyone who could repair the slide out. On a referral from another company, we gave
Forest Lake Rv Sales Dealers Provider Name Locked
a call. They not only said they were able to fix it, but said they would get to it right away if we were able to get down to their shop. He instructed us on how to ensure the slide out would not fall out while driving to our destination. When we arrived, he greeted us and spoke to us about the issue. He then gave us a tour of his huge shop. Neat as a pin and so well organized. We could easily see that every project was neatly laid out and organized. He knew where every project was in the process and what was left. From his explanations, we could see that this is a shop that knows how to tear down and rebuild just about any

from scratch, exactly the sort of team you would want doing any repair on your rig. Truly impressive. We have had multiple repairs and major projects done on our rig in the past. Not a single one was without issues. And every shop you walked into was a mess. You wondered how they got anything done and were always shooed out the door as quick as possible. We could see the difference immediately. This full service shop not only does the repairs and rebuilds, but his wife has a shop that does upholstery work for for their refurbishes. We are actually sad we are selling out rig. What a relief it would be to have someone like him to do all our work for us! After our tour and chat, we went home. A few hours later he called back and let us know that he not only fixed our slide-out, but also repaired out entry steps that were not retracting fully. He did all of this for the meagre price of $250. We have been fleeced so many times by Camping World and other small private shops that we were overwhelmed by his honesty and integrity. Please give this worthy shop your business since we can't!

In May 2014, my family and I were away from home camping in our new travel trailer. Upon arrival, realizing immediately after hooking up the water supply, we had water pouring from under the kitchen sink. Having this leak required us to shut off the water supply to our camper. With a family having 2 children this was especially a great inconvenience. Not being able rectify this issue ourselves, we called a local

, TX. (a store we had visited in the past for various camp items and lighting fixtures) Our call was answered by a polite service tech who seemed genuinely concerned and knowledgeable as to the situation I had explained and scheduled an appointment on the day of the call, something of which I was very grateful for. I had great appreciation for his prompt arrival and was completely satisfied by the service received. The tech was extremely polite, respectful, clean and well dressed - no bad attitude or language was used and the knowledge and assistance pertaining to the repair of the leak was most helpful. He listened to understand, was sympathetic and offered helpful advice while not being demeaning or arrogant. In addition, my water line had blown off under the kitchen sink and not realizing it, a second leak had developed in the bathroom. Had he not been caring, thoughtful and thorough, I would have had further issues and damage to my camper. He repaired both leaks with confidence and gave me the assurance that I wouldn't have any more problems and I haven't! The tech was knowledgeable and diligent and his job performance was top notch!

I would highly recommend this company to fellow campers. You can't beat great people offering great service!

I knew nothing about the repairs that needed to be done, so I was vulnerable.

repair went through each step in an informative manner, not condescending. I felt comfortable with the repairs they made and the materials they used. They were friendly, on time and efficient. They have helped me since then with talking me through some issues over the phone. Things that I could do myself and they didn't charge me anything. They were patient and helpful. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

, the owner of the shop, knew that we were 1500 miles from home, and overcharged for the repair. Then, when I needed a small scrap of wood and a bit of tape to hold a lever open until I could get to the manufacturer in Nebraska, he charged me $7.00 for a roll of duct tape and $4.00 for a small scrap of wood that had been in his trash bucket.
I feel strongly that he overcharged me because we were 1500 miles from home and he felt he could get away with it. I had been in
