"All the staff are pleasant and very competent. The office staff makes you feel like you are a part of their family, they know your name the minute you walk in. I've had two therapists over the years,

Weaver and

"they were awesome, friendly, kind, caring, efficient and effective. They gently worked my leg/hip and gave me exercises to do. The care did help me, however the issue was completely resolved when I got a new car. Reaching for the gas pedal in the old one was actually causing the problem. "
"On Monday morning I saw the PT who did a full analysis on me to see where the problem really was. After about 15 or so minutes she started treatment ( explaining everything very clearly) It was 15 minutes of Elector therapy , Then a tissue (test) or message for about the same amount of time. After that we redid some of the same earlier test to see if this was helping or not. I left with 3 more appointments and was shown how to do some stretching that would help. Each visit starts off the same way no matter who I see in the office that day. I have see 3 different PT with the same experience from each. Outstanding !! Through out each visit they are all ways making sure that nothing hurts and that i am comfortable. Moving on, I am still see them i have 2 or so weeks left but each day my back is feeling much better than it has every felt.
"They were absolutely outstanding. The medical staff communicated with me, even though they knew I was the sister-in-law. The therapists communicated with me. Everyone treated my sister-in-law and me with dignity and respect. The food was excellent. The accommodations were great. It was a lovely place, and I understand why there is almost a waiting list to go there. Their goal is to rehabilitate people and move them out; not keep them there for 20 days. My sister-in-law was there for less than two weeks, and she so vastly improved that it is absolutely remarkable."
"They are very good. The staff were young and seemed to be very knowledgable. They spent a lot of time with individuals. They were consistent in their treatment of people so it seemed. They were very professional but very friendly and warm. The experience was very good. The results were fabulous. We couldn't have asked for anything better. They were also able to recommend other services and doctors for extended care. They were great. I would use them again."
"After the eval, I would only spend about 5 minutes of each session with the actual physical therapist. It was usually interns or physical therapy assistants who were with me. My physical therapist commented that there was "hardly anything at all" showing on my MRI. After that, I was just confused about why I was coming in for the appointments. The physical therapist didn't really seem to have a plan for me. I asked how long I would come and he said until the pain had subsided and we would "go from there." I had to remind him about the spinal decompression plan on two different occasions. Seemed like a waste of time and money. Maybe my experience there would have been better if I had a different physical therapist. On a positive note, the front office staff was very helpful and attentive. "
"They are extremely personable, really sweet, gentle and it is a home atmosphere. You want to go back and look forward to going. They are fantastic and perfect. They are better than the place I went before. I have been a couple of different places and they are phenomenal."
"My overall experience was VERY positive. I had a preconceived idea a what a facility like this would be like and it wasn't a very good one. Every person I met from Administration, Physical Therapy, Nursing Staff, Activities , and Social Services continued to prove me wrong.
My dad was up and walking in approx three weeks ( the doctor mentioned it could take several weeks). He also has dementia and has this funny trait where he repeats things people say during the day, ie nurses, physical therapy etc and I heard some really nice things. Physical therapy must have been cheering him on, and the nursing staff apparently kidded around with him a lot keep him in good spirits. We were assigned a doctor names Dr.

who was completely thorough and took really good care of my dad and I had full confidence in him.
I am considering using them for adult day care services in the future. I know it is hard to leave your family sometimes but my experience is they treat them like family.
Ypsilanti Geriatric Care Provider Name Locked
is exceptionally good at what he does. He found and worked on numerous trigger points that had developed in my left hip and psoas area as a result of an underlying hip problem. This underlying problem was torn cartilage, and he could not fix that, but when it became clear that he could not fix me, he pushed a reluctant me to take the next steps to find out what was really wrong. There's nobody I would trust more."
"I went to therapy twice a week (ultrasound, stripping, exercises to strengthen and increase range of motion, electrical stimulation and cold) and did therapy exercises three times a day at home. Within two weeks my foot was getting stronger and my pain level began dropping. I decided to try going back to work on restricted hours. I was able to tolerate a regular shoe for 6 hours a day which I had been unable to do before I began therapy. After two weeks back at work we increased the level of therapy and I had a setback and my pain level began increasing. We dropped the therapy back down and I began to bounce back. I went back off work to just concentrate on the therapy, but after another week and a half, I realized I was no longer continuing to improve. I talked to
Ypsilanti Geriatric Care Provider Name Locked
and we decided to stop the therapy and recommend to the doctor that I should have the surgery to remove the bones. Even though the therapy didn't fully work, my foot is stronger and I have less pain than when I started therapy so that should help me recover from surgery better. I am looking forward to working with the people at

again for rehab after the surgery.
