Late June/Early
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked

Initial appointment with
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
in late June or very early
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
; he takes window measurements, and peels sample of window tint off of one of the two windows that has tint on them so they can match the tint. He says he'll call next day to confirm the pricing quote, and take the official order.

After not hearing back, about 10 days later, I call
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, to which he responds (after a minute of clearly realizing he's dropped the ball on my order) "Oh, I was going to call you tomorrow, I left your phone number in the office." ??
Several days later (week or so)
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
calls and leaves me a voice mail to get my CC#. We play phone tag for a day or two, so his last voice mail tells me to call the office, which I do, and was able to give someone (a lady) my CC#.
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
calls me again a day or two later to get my CC#. ?? About two weeks later, I get a call from window tint guy to say he needs to get a sample, even though
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
took a sample of the tint when he originally measured it during original appointment 3-4 weeks earlier. This gentleman came out later that day to get another sample, even though
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
had taken one previously. A week or so later (
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
29th or 30th), I get a call from scheduler; we set up install for 8:00 AM on Monday morning, August 4th
August
Monday, August 4th: Installers show up an hour late, which means I have to reschedule, as I have an appointment I have to get to. When I asked them why they were an hour late, they said they were "not sure why someone would have set it up for 8am, there's no way we'd get here by then," since they don't report to work until 7:30, then they have to load the truck and drive to the work location.I call the office later that day, talk to someone there and reschedule the installation for 8/6
Tuesday, August 5th: Someone calls me from the office to say they need to reschedule the missed call from 8/4, even though I've already rescheduled it.
Wednesday, August 6th: Different installers show up on time, tear both windows out and apart before they realize that 1) both windows are tinted (only one was supposed to be) and 2) one of the windows is the wrong size. They are able to pull the tint off the correctly measured window and replace it, but have to reassemble the still-broken window that was mis-measured and put it back. During this process, they
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
the home alarm magnets attached to that window, so now I have a window that 1) is half covered with tint, 2) my home alarm for that zone doesn't work.
Wednesday, August 13th: Around 10am - Having not heard anything, I call the office and talk to
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, the scheduler, who says the replacement window is in, they just have to get it tinted "unless I don't want it tinted." (???) During this call I let
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
know that the alarm isn't working and, when they come out to replace the window, they need to bring magnets to repair that; he says he's made a note of that.
Monday, August 25th, 4:20pm: - Leave message for
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, as I haven't heard anything.
Thursday, August 28th - return call from
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, we scheduled install for Tuesday, 9/2 at 1:00pm.
September
Tuesday, Sept 2nd, 1:10pm: - installers arrive, without magnets for window alarm I'd requested. As well, the replacement window is, once again, the wrong size. Job still not complete. I ask installers who the office manager is, they tell me
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
is who I would need to speak with.
Tuesday, Sept 2nd, 2:10pm: I call and ask for
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, get her voice mail, leave her a message asking her to call me back.
Sunday, Sept. 7th: Send email to
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
general email given on the website, attached this history (through Sept 2), letting them know that I'm going to file BBB complaint if I don't have a firm path to resolution by Wed, Sept. 10th.
Monday, Sept 8th: Received a call at 8:43AM from
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
(as well as an email that I found later) saying they can install new glass on Tuesday, 9/9. I call him back, and we schedule install for Thursday, 9/11 at 1:00, as that's my earliest availability. Reminded
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
of the alarm magnets as well, which he didn't know about (even though I had documented it in the email I sent on the 7th). He said he'll make sure the alarm magnets will be repaired as well as the window on Thursday.
Thursday, Sept. 11th: Two installers arrive pretty much on time, around 1:10, and finish the window repair. They did not have the alarm magnets, though, as
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
promised they would. I'm not going to worry about the alarm magnets, though, as I'm just

again in
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
if I can help it.

I had them come out for an estimate on replacing one pane of broken glass on a sliding patio door. I also requested that they replace the lock, which was broken. When they called me they told me that it was cheaper to replace the entire door and quoted me a price of $275. I agreed and they ordered the door (I was told). It took many weeks for them to get the door. When they came to install, they did not have a door, but only a pane of glass, which they said would be the same price. I told them that I had wanted the entire door replaced and had been told that was what they were ordering. They had no response and went ahead and installed the glass only. There was no offer to fix the lock. I told them I was unhappy and they did not seem to care. When I say "they" I am referring to the owner and one employee.

Finding a company to replace this window proved more difficult than I expected. The company that installed the conservatory went out of business and a local conservatory company and several glass repair companies said they would not undertake the repairs on classic conservatories- apparently in expectation of poor quality window frames. At first,
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
seemed also to turn down the job, but reconsidered and said they would come out and take a look. The estimator and later installer (
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
) examined the window, determined the window construction and engineering was of good quality and could easily be repaired. He expertly disassembled the front pane to take accurate measurements and determined the low-e nature of the glass. He ordered the glass and a couple of weeks later (I was out of town), he expertly replaced it. In a room comprised of windows, the replacement window appears undistinguishable from the other windows in light transmission and transparency and color. Couldn't be more pleased. Appreciate the fact that
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
made an exception to its policy of not accepting this type of work and decided to come out and take a look at the job- got a fine result. Particularly pleased with
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
's expertise and professionalism. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Also used
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
to replace a broken double pane casement window in a rental property. The work done and price paid was equally satisfactory.

Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
was great and the project turned out great. We reached out over e-mail and he quickly responded the next day. He came out to give a detailed estimate at a time that was convenient for us the following day. The price was in line with the other quote we received and included everything (no
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
fees). Based on our fixtures,
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
recommended and ordered hardware that matched the existing design. Other reviews have commented on the how quickly
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
completes projects which we also found to be true. Our bathroom contractor had told us to expect 4-6 weeks from their typical shower door vendors but
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
got it done in half the time. We signed a contract on the Aug 27th and everything was done by the Sep 13th. I highly recommend
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
for anyone doing a glass shower door project.

We found
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
& Sash on the Internet after trying to locate a supplier for gold-veined glass. They sent free samples for review. We ordered the mirrors based on the samples; and they subsequently shipped them in remarkable crates so there was no damage. (They are located in New
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
City and we are in the greater
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, DC area.) We are extremely pleased with the exceptional quality of the mirrors and that the samples were accurate "reflections" of the product. The service and responsiveness of
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
& Sash was first rate.

Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
sent two installers out to mount special mirrors on the doors of the closets. They arrived on time, did a beautiful job at the price previously stated, and completed the task in about an hour. They provided our requested metal frames and took considerable care to ensure that the mount was square and the frame was properly set. We are extremely pleased with the service and will use them on our next project, the bathroom, as soon as we get to it. I recommend them to anyone interested in quality work and craftsmanship.

As a result of the storm, there were a lot of homes that needed window repairs so they were backed up. It took 3 weeks from the time of their first visit to the time of the repair. We have used them in the past and they have been very responsive.

Very happy with this company! Fast service, priced well. Very professional, glass installed in less than an hour. Friendly, pleasant staff, from the telephone receptionist to the installers. They showed up at exactly the appointment time, both to provide an estimate and to complete the installation. Would gladly use them again, highly recommend.

They were punctual in arriving for the estimate, and the turnaround for my order was only a couple of weeks. When they came to install the shower door, they discovered that my tiles were loose and were unable to complete the installation. They gave me the name of some tile repair services, and told me to call them when the work was complete - they'd return to install the door at no extra charge.
They arrived on December 23rd - the last day they worked before the holiday closures. They squeezed me in because they wanted to ensure my work was done before Christmas. They did a great job, and I would definitely hire them again!

Discussing the potential work with an OFFICE MANAGER (
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
) rather than a technician seemed odd.
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
requested that I send photos of the windows as she was "having a hard time visualizing" what needed to be done. Sent email to company through their website. Never got a response. Subsequently forwarded email to
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
's personal email. Called to confirm receipt and - surprise -
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
decided that a visit from a technician was necessary. Appt. made with a one-hour window. Technician never showed. Phoned office to find out where technician was. After holding, then being switched unceremoniously to the technician (
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
), discovered that
Wyoming Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
went to the house EARLY and "saw what he needed to see from outside; charge to fix would be $300." When I asked why an appointment was even made when the customer didn't have to be present and why the appointment time wasn't honored, the technician said he could care less whether he did the work or not and hung up the phone.
