come out. They are wonderful to work with. The cost is great and the work is top natch. They are the only choice now for work at my home. "

"Well satisfied with the work preformed. Both men were competent and helpful. Very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Used the 4 hours they were at the house efficiently . Came back to repair a faulty GFI they installed the very next day. Would use again!

"The company showed up to kick in the carpet as expected and did that well. The two men all of the carpet done in one day. I had set up for them to then come back and install the built in shelving for me in the two rooms. They took the measurements and we drove to pick up the supplies that they had worked out would be necessary. When they had been working ...more on the installation for a few hours, I went in to see how things were coming along and it became apparant that one of the shelves in the study was not even. The one end was higher than the other. They began to try and talk me out of what I was seeing, telling me that the shelf was level. I asked them to measure for me, and the shelf was in fact off by a quarter inch. I then discovered that when cutting the wood for the shelves they had managed to crack one of the pieces of lumber down the middle, the split was about 2.5 feet and would not make for a sturdy shelf. They then reassured me that this was an extra piece of wood because they had somehow measured wrong and ended up with an extra shelf. One of them had accidently included a floor or ceiling shelf, but they would give me a "free" shelf somewhere else in my house I just needed to find a spot. I let them continue with their install even after this. Then my lights flickered. While putting in one of the last shelves, the one man had drilled through my electrical wiring and failed to say anything. A good 5-8 minutes went by before the other man asked me to turn off the breaker so that he could cut into my wall and fix the wiring. When he cut the wall, smoke came pouring out and I was reassured again that any electrical fire that would have been caused had now been repaired. They began painting the shelves and the rooms the next day and it was the slowest process I have ever witnessed. There were more ciggarette, phone and meal breaks than I had ever seen two people take. They needed to leave to go pick up children from school and come back or to go the gas station to pick up snacks for thirty minutes multiple times a day. I was getting very frustrated and was expressing this to them, but they kept insisting that it was taking a long time because they really just wanted to do a good job for me. I wasn't really buying it because the job they were doing wasn't really that good. Then I received a bizarre message from the one man's wife about him being in my home and him being a married man. I was not sure what was going on, but I knew that there was something wrong here and I asked both men to leave for the day. The next day I discovered that some of my prescription medication had been stolen. I contacted the man who had been making all of the appointments and told him about my discovery. He appologized repeatedly for the wife and the stolen pills, telling me that this is something that he has known his partner has had a problem with in the past he just didn't think he would steal from a job. He then said I didn't need to pay for any more work to be done, he would finish it up for free himself and that his partner would not come back to my home. That would have been really nice, except he has come back to do some work, but in the seven weeks since this project has started only the hallway and living room have been finished being painted. All of the other rooms were begun and never completed. At this point in time I really feel I should cut my losses and finish the job myself and so I have chosen to terminate the company."
"On a very hot day, our central air conditioning went out. Since it turned out that we needed a whole new a/c unit (and furnace), and this would take some weeks (since we were having a heat wave), we needed to use our attic fan. That's when we found out the belt was broken. We decided to call
because we have used it many ...more times in the past and have always gotten prompt, quality service for reasonable rates. Also, we had several other jobs that we had been putting off getting done. The water line in our fridge was leaking and it had been disconnected for months, so our ice maker was not working. Also, our tree trimmers had cut some branches off the roof and let us know there had been some damage to the roof caused by the branches.
came out within a few days and did all the repairs on the same day. We have been especially happy to get the attic fan fixed, since it's been quite hot, and it has been running pretty non stop while we wait for the installation of our new air conditioning unit. Prior work we had done by
includes roofing, electrical, carpentry, framing and drywalling a new wall, and minor plumbing."
I am sorry about his family emergency and sorry that I was too quick to judge. Since no services were performed I can't really rate his business. My issue was with his unresponsiveness- which is completely forgivable under the circumstances.
