was prompt in his communication. He provided a written quote & contract of
work detailing his labor costs. Additionally
the proposal outlined every single item of work from demo to finishing.
/
took and provided detailed measurements,
and guided us on what tiles sizes would work well. Using these measurements / square footage we
consulted with The Tile shop for all our tile needs.
No material costs were factored into
’s quote. We would buy all finishing materials directly,
as well as the Kerdi shower kit (tiles, fixtures, etc). Any construction materials (nails, wood,
grout, caulk, cement board, etc) that
needed for the next day of work
they would tell us about before leaving that day. Then in the morning
or
would go to
home depot, get the items on his contractor discount, then Home Depot would
call us to advise the cost, and take our Credit Card payment over the
phone. We were provided a receipt and
shown all material used. Any unused
items were segregated in the garage for us to return if we desired. In the end, there was only some left over
calking, and a spare toilet ring. This kept the cost of goods very transparent,
and in our control. Combined with the
fact we direct purchased and picked up all tiles, fixtures, paint, and other
finishing materials there was no concerns.
The previous shower stall was poorly constructed, and upon
gutting a rotten subfloor that was about to break through was found. Following the above mentioned format
purchased
sub-flooring, and did a great job of rebuilding the structural integrity of the
bathroom. Some reframing of the studs
was done to remove surface mold, setup the new 4 way shower valve, and expand
the shower stall area.
The job began promptly on the agreed upon date, and they
worked a full day with only a short lunch each day, 5 days a week.
reported to work on time, every time
and committed to the job like you’d expect from an exemplary employee. The work was completed on time, and well
beyond our satisfaction. Total time to
complete in proposal 7-9 days, and it took 9 days. This included issues with the subflooring,
and other items. Additionally along the way
we asked for some revisions, which were placed into a contract addendum. Our happiness
was their top concern.
In the end the work is absolutely beautiful. The work is top notch! I would recommend and
hire
and his team or any project that he’ll take on.
Labor was $3,600, all said and done with what we bought on
our own, $7,822

spent a lot of time looking over the house to determine exactly what boards needed to be replaced. Other quotes were higher and they just walked around the house once. The work was performed on time,
was pleasant to work with, and six years later the boards are holding up fine.

Called
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Build & Design around the 11th of April 2014. Told
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
we wanted an old shed torn down, and replaced with a workshop. He indicated he would like to come out and do an inspection. However, he couldn't make it out until the 17th.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did call on the 17th, and asked if he could come a little early. We meet a little earlier, and discussed the project.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
said he would have an estimate by the end of the following week (April 25th) . The 25th came and left. I ended up calling
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
on April 30th. His answering machine stated his mail box was full, and to try some other time. with no other choice, I e-mailed him asking about the estimate. Two days later (May 1st), I received an e-mail stating, sorry he was to busy to take on my project. I sent a second e-mail and asked if he could recommend someone else. I'm still waiting for a response.

We had been told it was a 3-day job: 1) Removing old tiles 2) Laying the cement board & new tiles 3) grouting. They kept to their plan. It was the owner
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Parent and his 6' 8" assistant
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. DAY 1: They moved 6 large items incl. large refrigerator &
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
from the area. Then there were problems in removing the old tiles because the plywood was both stapled and glued to the 3/4" sub-floor. It ended up that they had to rent a sander to make sure the remnants of the plywood were removed and it was perfectly smooth to

the cement board. DAY 2: Installed the new dishwasher. Fixed sink leak. Laid the cement board & cut & glued the tiles. We almost were at an impasse because the new tile looked too orangey whereas the old tile was light tan. The netted five-rows of inch stones that we intended to serve as a threshold between the new & old tiles looked washed out. I mentioned that the saleswoman dampened them with water & it brought the color out. She said a coating would do the same.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
just happened to have a can of sealant in his truck and that did the trick! We didn't have to go back & pick out new tile. DAY 3: Grouted. Vacuumed & cleaned up marvelously. Replaced all the furniture etc. Examined the spigot & will replace in on Friday. Excellent job overall! We were quite pleased.

We were extremely impressed with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
from our initial contact with the salesperson,
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. He was knowledgeable, professional, and never tried to pressure us to make a decision on the spot. He was timely in his responses to our phone calls when we had additional questions.
He and the company owner,
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, came out to do detailed measurements. Their price was substantially more reasonable than the other quote we obtained, and unlike the "big box store", they were able to have a tambour door appliance garage custom made to match the refaced cabinets. We were pleased to find that the materials actually came in a few weeks ahead of schedule so the project could start earlier than originally anticipated.
From the first day of construction till completion,
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, was on site. He called in advance to let us know what time we could expect them and they were on time every day. To expedite completion, they brought their lunches rather than go out.
They were very thorough in keeping the job site, as well as the garage clean, both during construction and at the end of each day. When the project was completed, they made sure things were left spotless and even swept the entire garage floor!
The workmanship was fantastic, and we are so amazed with the new look in our kitchen. We would recommend
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to anyone without hesitation!

We were very quickly placed in a very high price
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, based on the salesman's cocky attitude and "vast experience". He showed us pictures of average bath remodels and told us how much these customers had paid, which we felt. in each case, was way too much. After having other companies come out to quote, we realized we were correct with the feeling that
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was quoting way too high, and the other sales people were simply more knowledgeable and a lot less cocky and smug with their comments. I don't know if
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
might have done a great job, but I do know we would have paid too much!

, We just wanted to send you all a much delayed thank you for the work you did on our house this summer! We’re finally done settling back in to our new and improved home, and we could not be happier! From the very beginning of the project, we were extremely impressed by
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’s designs. They not only made great use of the space we were adding, but he also came up with creative suggestions that we never would’ve thought of on our own- from little touches like adding outlets to our kitchen table/island, to big things like bench seating around the fireplace and moving our laundry room upstairs to create a mudroom. Beyond the planning, the actual construction process went even smoother than we could’ve imagined.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’s detailed timelines gave us a realistic idea of when the project would be complete, and also what to expect each week. Also, we really appreciated that the workspace was closed off from our living space as much as possible- and the temporary kitchen that
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and the crew created for us during construction was a lifesaver! We also want to let you know how much we enjoyed having the entire crew in our home. They not only did top quality work, but everyone was so friendly and professional- the kids still ask when “the guys” are coming back! We have recommended

to numerous friends and neighbors, and would not hesitate to work with you all again on future projects!

It went very well in fact.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his crew were very respectful in my home not only with their conversation with me but how they spoke to each other as well. Even the music that they listened to while working was not rude or crude. They came when they said they would. They always cleaned up after each day's job. And, they didn't damage my home anywhere else in the process.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
had no problem redesigning the plumbing, removing a huge tiled built-in bathtub and steps, and installing a shower with a European glass door and glass on top of 1/2 walls which permits more light into the shower. Another 1/2 wall was built for privacy and a taller style toilet was installed. 12 x 24-inch ceramic tiles were used on the floor and on the walls of the shower. Travertine was used for the baseboards and for the sills on the 1/2 walls of the shower. My old stained sink cabinet was reused and now sports a golden Venetian granite countertop and white sink. A single-handle Delta faucet was installed that operates with just a touch on the handle or base. Lovely! Even the kahki-colored paint blends very well with the tiles and countertop chosen. I am very pleased with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work and would hire him again in a heartbeat. Matter of fact, a problem arose where the soap dish in a shower bath upstairs was not maintained and the water from the shower leaked into the half bath below. Now there is mold behind the soap dish behind the wall. I will be very happy when
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
can return and remediate the mold in the bathroom and rebuild what needs to be done.

I can’t say enough good things about
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and the job they did on our house.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his team are absolute professionals. A major kitchen remolding project is very inconvenient for everyone living in the house (especially when you have kids).
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’s team does everything possible to make sure the job is done quickly and correctly. The
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
team is very good about working with anyone (wife, me, or both) at any time. They were also very respectful of being in someone else's home. This was especially important since both my wife and toddler were home most of the time while work was being done. The project manager assigned to our project (
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
) was outstanding. From the very start we talked almost daily. He always made sure my concerns were quickly addressed. He was also very helpful at suggesting changes to my kitchen design to improve the look and feel. It was
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’s willingness for this back and forth communication that enabled this project to be successful.

Some of the best things about
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
include:
1) Customer service:
I never worked with a contractor more dedicated to customer service than
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. From the start they do everything possible to make sure you are satisfied with the job they are doing. Having a project manager assigned to the job makes everything so much easier and less stressful. You always know someone is there to answer your questions.
2) Responsiveness:
a. Project: The responsiveness of
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his team was outstanding. My primary means of communication with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his project manager was by text message. I
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’t think I waited more than a few hours for a response to any question or concern.
b. Quote process: The quote process with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did take about 3 or 4 months from the time I initially called to final quote. However, when you get a final quote it is done right. Everything is itemized in detail so you know exactly what you are paying for and why. This kind of quote takes time and requires the customer to have a detailed project plan (drawings, materials, etc.) prior to the quote being developed.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
’t expect a detailed quote unless you have a reasonable firm detailed project plan.
3) Quality:
Outstanding. Everything they do is top rate. When had concerns with how something was done, the project manager would walk me thought it so I understood why it was done that way and made sure I was satisfied with the work.
4) Price/Value:
If you are looking for a budget contractor
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is not it. I gave them an “A” because of the excellent overall value. The customer support and work quality is worth the cost. Many friends tell of kitchen remodeling nightmares (disappearing contractors, subpar work, major timing delays, etc.) this will not happen with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. They did everything possible to minimize my stress (and I am the kind of person that will get stressed out on even the smallest detail) and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction.
My only negative experience with
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was related to getting hardwood flooring color/finish samples prior to the day the floors were finished. Despite my repeated request for flooring samples (various colors and urethane types) they were never able to deliver this. We were required to select the floor color and final finish the morning the floors were sanded and finished. Having to make that big of a decision in a few minutes is very stressful. Getting a sample board with a variety of colors and finished a few weeks ahead of time would have made the process much easier for everyone. However, I do have to admit the floors came out great. Both my wife and I were very satisfied with the final product. Note:
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did have the flooring contractor provide a quickly put together sample board with a couple of different floor colors the day before the floors were to be finished. But nothing that showed what the final floor would look like.

Our first project was whole house window replacement.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was recommended by
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Lumber as the best in the business and so we requested his services. We used top of the line
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
windows and
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. performed the replacement quickly, efficiently and the quality of their work exceeded our expectations. The finish work on the exterior of the house and the trim work installed on the interior of the house was very well done. The men were polite, trustworthy, dependable and prompt. Once this was completed we asked them to remodel our main bathroom. They raised the ceiling, installed an exhaust fan and a Velux roof window, completed intricate tile work that never fails to get compliments from guests, and installed all of the plumbing and fixtures. We then had them install red oak flooring in the foyer and join it to two adjacent areas that had the original red oak from the home's initial construction. The finished product was integrated flawlessly and one cannot differentiate between the old and the new. We then had them replace our existing front door and side panels that had a dated look with a full view door and full view side panels. They replaced the sill as well and again the finished product exceeded our expectations and gets rave review from the neighbors.
Troy Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
listens carefully, communicates well, is easy to reach (phone, email, text) and negotiates hurdles easily. He took the time to be sure that we were fully satisfied with the results and made corrections and modifications without issue when asked. They were a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any job they are willing to undertake. In fact...i am planning our next project!
