The staff we talked with were pleasant enough though I felt they were lacking in depth or detail regarding what exactly we were paying for or what our options might be. The two installers were the same. They basically hooked us up but confirming our phones worked on the lines they said we had available or customizing our internet password to what we would find easier to use all required asking them to do so. I felt like I was leading them through the process instead of the other way around. In addition while here they took possession of a pre-existing communication device saying only that it was probably something we would never use even though I told them I didn't want them to take it. After several phone calls requesting the return item I was told, a week later, that the device was theirs from the previously foreclosed upon owners so it was their right to take it. If that is truly the case I found it extremely unprofessional to remove the device without clearing this discrepancy through us first.

When I called back and connected with a live customer service rep--the self-serve, automated option is lengthy, irritating, and did not apply to my brand of modem--he very quickly diagnosed the problem. Later, after I had purchased a new modem and my screen prompted me to call my Internet service provider, another rep quickly and easily configured my new modem. I have had uninterrupted, seamless Internet connection ever since, despite a severe storm yesterday.

slow but sure, you have to be persistent & have the necessary info. i write down the info each time i speak with someone. this way im able to be accurate. i suppose this is the way business is run anymore. sad there are many people that work for at&t that are providing excellent service, but if you get the wrong one i find it difficult. my advice is to hang up & call again.

has lousy internet service. I am constantly calling them because I pay for 12 Mbps download and NEVER get that much. Typically, I get around 8 Mbps download. They will not prorate the bill and it's always MY lines inside MY house that are the problem, not their crappy lines or overselling of the service. I keep telling them the lines inside my house are new, but it doesn't seem to matter. I have complained to the FCC and the Better Business Bureau about their service, which seems to get me priority service, but it doesn't matter because it never works the way it is supposed to. At one point, I was calling them every day. I wish I had another option, but we have two options here. Limestone cable which is ridiculously expense to minimal speed and satellite. If satellite Internet is anything like satellite TV, then I'll keep complaining to

. Right now, my download speed is 9.39 Mbps with upload being .64 Mbps and I live within seeing/waling distance of the substation or whatever they call it.

We had an outage of phone and Internet service in May. I called Frontier to report this and in the course of conversation was told by the customer service rep that he could put us on a faster Internet speed for less money, which amounted to $2.64/month. We could stay on a month-to-month, no contract, and there was no fee for that. For a faster speed, why not? We were also to receive credit for the days of the outage. The next month when I got my bill, it was $7 higher than we had been paying. Nothing had been credited. I called customer service again. The rep told me there were credits that had not been applied, he applied them, and gave me the new amount of that bill, which I then paid, and was told the next bill would be correct.
This month, our bill was $10 MORE than our original bill, when it was supposed to be ~$2.50 lower. I called yet again, and was informed this time that the original rep we spoke to gave us incorrect information. The new amount with the faster Internet speed was supposed to be $10 more than he told us and of course the new rep had no idea why the original rep told me that; and there were indeed charges for staying on month-to-month with no contract. I was further informed that if I didn't pay this bill, I would incur late charges. The rep said the only way to lower our bill now is to add DISH TV through Frontier, or go back to our original plan where we had the lower Internet speed. I declined the first and chose the latter. The rep informed me that if I pay the $10 higher bill now, I will receive a credit on NEXT month's bill. We'll see...
In summary, I called about a service problem, was pounced on by a salesman who turned out to be a con artist, given incorrect information and am now forced to pay higher costs for a service I was not looking for in the first place.

I called and told them that I was not happy with the performance of my Netflix and they told me it was a technical issue, even though every other service worked fine. I gave them multiple opportunities to remedy the situation but got the same party line every time. I cancelled and was paying them off in installments, but they keep charging me a late fee because I have not paid the bill in full with one payment. I am referring the matter to the state attorney general at this time.

Called for new package as mine was becoming too expensive. After many tries and phone calls a new triple play package was offered to me that helped a little. I was told, as in the past, that I could return to my old package within 30 days if I did not like the new one. It turned out some of what was promissed in the new package

could not provide making the price higher than I liked. I asked to return to my old package as it was well within the 30 days. I was than informed that my old internet speed was no longer available. I now have slower internet speed.
