Business Description: Hands-On Physical Therapy and Athletic Rehabilitation Center is a multifaceted outpatient Physical Therapy facility located in Southfield, Michigan and dedicated to providing the highest standard of physical therapy treatment, using state-of-the-art equipment, innovative and evidence-based treatment techniques, and one-on-one hands-on approach to obtain the absolute best results possible for each and every patient. The injuries we treat vary from basic sprained ankles or low back pain to high level competetive sport injuries such as ACL surgical repair or rotator cuff injury. The ages of our patients also vary from the pediatric to the geriatric population. Regardless of the type of injury or condition, each patient receives a one-on-one individualized initial evaluation of their condition by Dr. Muhammad, and a physical therapy treatment program is customized for that patient based on their particular condition. The facility is state licensed, Medicare Certified, and credentialled with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and most other health insurance companies. Dr. Muhammad is also member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Michigan Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine, APTA Orthopedic Section, APTA Sports Section, the Detroit Medical Society, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
