"I had no problems. I had a preliminary visit with her, and she gave me the costs. I was able to book my appointment in 2 weeks, and the procedure took 3-4 hours." I stopped in the next day to make sure everything was okay. I had one follow-up appointment with her, and then went back to seeing my regular eye doctor.

"Dr.
has been my opthamologist since the mid 1990's. He performed
surgery on my severe myopia flawlessly. He" also did my cataract surgery in the mid 2000's, with fantastic results. I have all three sight distances working with excellent vision.. He continues to review my eye status twice a year, primarily to ensure no degeneration due to severe myopia.issues. His reputation is outstanding and I have referred more than four people to him for treatment. They all speak of him in glowing terms./

It was great. I would highly recommend him. He took time, explained everything. I originally going to him for a second opinion on my eyes for a possible cataract surgery. He was honest and suggested that I didn't need surgery. He was great.

They were very good about making sure I was a good candidate. Procedure it was very effective. I came out with 20/15 vision with little or no complication. They were very good about checking back after the procedure.

I had the first of 3 or 4 planned eye surgeries with Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
in Sept., 2014, and had additional appointments scheduled. Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
had a health issue and was cancelling various appointments for several months, leading to a lengthy leave of absence. Although Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
knew well in advance that he would have to cancel all of his appointments for at least the entire month of November, 2014, he delayed notifying his patients until shortly before their appointments and wrote that it was due to an unforeseen circumstance. His office refused to re-schedule my appointments with Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
, did not refer me to another eye surgeon, and offered me only an office visit with his Physician's Assistant. This delay prevented me from completing my
surgeries and improving my vision in 2014. I will pay thousands of dollars for an additional insurance deductible in 2015.
Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
's delay in notifying me and his failure to refer me for appropriate care elsewhere were just two examples of a poorly run office and lack of consideration for the patient. Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
diagnosed me with a rare
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
disease, explained it, and instructed me to sign up for surgery; I asked for written information on the disease and the surgical procedure, but they
said that there was no patient information. His employee sent me to purchase a $108 prescription which I did not need, and I have never opened the bottle. I posted a question in his online Message Center about my medications, but no one responded. They gave me printed post-op instructions to use an eye medication but did not warn that it would cause blurry vision; when
I contacted Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
's office to report my blurry vision, a tech gave me medical advice that was different from what Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
wanted me to do. When Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
wanted to check my post-surgical eye again in 4 weeks, the scheduler couldn't get me in before 6 weeks. After Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
cancelled my appointments, I requested that my records be sent to another ophthalmologist and to me; the records were not sent in a timely manner, and they charge 50 cents per page to give patients their own records. My usual time in the waiting room was 45 minutes to 1 hour with additional waiting time in the dilation and
exam rooms for a total of 2-1/2 to 3 hour office visits. A sign says to notify the receptionist if you have been waiting for longer than 15 minutes, but they don't do anything about it.
Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
is a knowledgeable physician. He provided me with excellent advice and surgery for which I am grateful. I would be willing to overlook many of the inconveniences at his office in order to receive his expert care. However, the way that Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
treated me when he had a personal health issue
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
me to believe that he had priorities other than my best eye care, and I could no longer trust him. I do not know the nature of his health issue or how it has affected his ability to take care of his
patients in the past, at present, or in the future.

It is a father/son practice. One of the sons does the surgeries and the other is the optometrist. I was quite satisfied with their service. They are extremely professional and efficient. The surgeries went well and were satisfactory. My only complaint is that after the procedure I may have been given the wrong glasses prescription. I ended up having to have my prescription re-done. I had no problem scheduling an appointment for when I needed. The entire office works very well together. Each patient goes through a number of different processes and they are efficient at getting you through that. There is no paperwork and everything is kept on a computer system.

Had

with Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
in January and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff and doctor are very nice. Did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for any of my visits from consult to post op. If the doctor is not in the room a couple of minutes after you are there for him he apologizes for the wait. All of his staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them. I am very happy with my new vision :-)

Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
though being a little awkward is obviously highly intelligent and took his time explaining my options and the effectiveness for any treatment for me as well as the differences in the different kinds of treatments available to me. He was honest when indicating that because of the extent of my nearsightedness it would be unlikely that treatment would fully fix my vision but that it could greatly improve it. I've never had a more thorough eye exam in my life and have made his office my regular eye clinic because I've never felt like anyone took so much care in considering the health of my eyes. I would recommend their services over and over again.

The service went poorly. They totally messed up my vision. The nurse I spoke with before going in to the procedure said she did not think the surgery would work for me. The doctor said the nurse did not know what she was talking about and he was doing the surgery anyway. The surgery was excruciating and the pain reliever did not work at all. They did nothing to help me though the surgery. He had a poor attitude and I would never try
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
surgery again because of the job they did. I would advise others to not ignore the negative reviews as I did. Staff-b

Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
is a very large office. I made an appointment with Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
. The office staff sent me paperwork to complete and return to them before the appointment which was very convenient. They also explained to me by phone which doctor it would be best for me to see since I was coming mainly for a routine eye check and contact lens evaluation.
Dr.
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
took a lot of time with me and found some potential problems that may need attention in the future. She stressed that these were age-related and not anything to be overly concerned with at this point. She said that basically my eyes are healthy. She suggested treatment of warm compresses I can do at home for a slight inflammation of the rims of my eyelids and talked about dietary suggestions for maintaining healthy eyes and eyesight.
She gave me new contact lenses as I wasn't happy with my old prescription, gave me a new eyeglass prescription, and we'll follow up on the contacts in a few weeks. She is committed to getting me the best contacts for my astigmatism and has ordered contacts that she thinks will be best for me. In the meantime, the ones she gave me are a big improvement over what I was wearing.
Overall, the
Royal Oak Lasik Surgery Provider Name Locked
seems to be a large and professional organization and I was satisfied with my care and treatment. Their office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful
