"Salesperson was very personable and helpful. Delivery men for both deliveries were extremely pleasant and efficient, even though the elevator was out of order for" one of the deliveries and they had to carry furniture up the stairs. Put the furniture in place and assembled the table. I'm very pleased with the furniture, and would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

"
is a swedish furniture store. They have model rooms. They have kitchen services where they hire contractors to remodel your kitchen. They're" creative. No one has our kitchen design. All the supplies come to our house and their contractor installs the cabinets. It's something different you don't see in anyone else's house.

That's an interesting concept, plus now you can buy all-new furniture at your new place. You can find ratings and reviews on local real estate agents on Angie's List. I would definitely finding a few agents who are familiar with that kind of listing, or alternatviely, you may want to consider an auction house to help sell off our furniture (which you can also find on Angie's List). Check out both servcies here www.AngiesList.com

If you use promo code ANSWERS, you'll get 20% off an annual membership. Good luck with your sale!

1) contact local furniture store that handles and repairs recliners. Frequently, even if they do not have the exact spring, they can come up with a pair that is close enough in length and stiffness that you can swap both and get satisfactory performance.

2) google your local barcalounger dealer - they might be able to get parts or keep a few common ones like springs in stock

3) write the company - Corporate Address: 400 W. Main Street, Suite 210 Morristown, TN 37814 It went bankrupt in 2010 and was bought by HPC3 Furniture Holdings - manufacturing in china now but distributing in US.

4) Google the phrase - barcalounger parts - there are a number of companies listing parts for sale, including springs

Celtic was the cabinet subcontractor for our kitchen remodel. Work was consistently late, of poor quality, and not as specified in drawings. This was a large job - more than 40 custom cabinets and drawers for the kitchen, new cabinetry for the pantry, and shelving custom fitted for an adjacent closet.
At every stage of our remodel Celtic was the weak link in the chain. They were weeks late getting the first cabinets to us, during which time our carpentry subcontractors cooled their heels with little to do (they actually swept our garage, they were so bored!). When the cabinets finally arrived there were consistent problems. The carpenters had to refit virtually every cabinet because the product is so poorly made. The shelving for the closet never did arrive.
The worst, though, was the pantry. The architect custom-designed this cabinetry to optimize the food storage containers we use. What we received had no relationship to the drawings. The vertical space between the drawers was off by several inches, with the result being an unusable top drawer in each of the three cabinet sections. Moreover, two of the three cabinets arrived with drawers that were too narrow for the boxes. The carpenters were able to mount them on the hardware, but there were gaps on the side - it looked sloppy and resulted in a substantial loss of storage space. This problem was compounded because the containers for which the drawers were designed won't fit in this space as well, meaning we either needed to change storage systems or
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
even more storage space.
In the case of all of the drawers in the pantry and the kitchen itself, the bottoms of the drawers were constructed of substandard material that flexes. We were unable to confirm the weight rating for this material, but it was clear that this material would not stand up to continued use for the storage of heavy items such as canisters of beans and other dry goods, let alone pots and pans. The pantry cabinetry that was removed featured hardware that was not as high quality as what the carpenters have installed (note: Celtic did not fabricate the hardware and we're happy with its quality), but the drawers that were removed, which were an off-the-shelf product, had very sturdy bottoms - in fact, our contractors commented on the weight of these drawers at demolition.
The cabinets were supposed to arrive painted, but Celtic decided to deliver them unpainted and have them painted on site. The house was filled with toxic fumes from this process.
We attempted to resolve all of these issues through our general contractor, but Celtic stopped returning even his calls, though when he was still returning them he just kept telling the GC that he was very busy.
Eventually, weeks later, the cabinet makers showed up to stick on little plastic dots that will keep the cabinet doors from banging when shut. I walked through the kitchen with the cabinet maker to point out the problems and ask when they were going to be fixed. First, he told me that there are no problems with any of the work. I asked about the fact that the pantry cabinets are all different widths - visibly different widths - none of which match the blueprints or the spaces into which they are to be inserted; his response was "that doesn't count" because he knew about it and was going to fix it. As the walkthrough continued, the cabinet maker continued to insist that everything was as it should be - the flexing drawer bottoms were fine, the unusable top drawers in the pantry were fine, the doors that were already warping weren't warping. He began to yell at me, then he stormed out. Thereafter, he refused to return, even though the job still wasn't complete. The general contractor confirmed that the cabinet maker had, in fact, quit.
Although we were relieved to be rid of the cabinet maker, months passed and the kitchen

still not finished. Another cabinet maker was finally brought onto the job. During his walkthrough of our (someday-it-will-once-again-be-a-) kitchen, it quickly became evident that we had only scratched the surface of the Celtic's substandard performance. We learned that: The fronts of the installed cabinetry were too flimsy to hold knobs without first being reinforced. The closet shelving was never started. Various components were too deep, too shallow, misplaced, misinstalled, lacking in physical integrity...the list went on and on. The wrong hardware was used, and the larger drawers lacked bracing to prevent bowing.
A month later we still didn't have a functioning kitchen, and on top of that we were still getting emails from the contractor saying things like: "[The new cabinet maker] will be taking a look at the remaining pieces for the vanity that Celtic made. Those pieces weren't made to the correct size, so [the new cabinet maker] will see what they can do to correct that mistake."
Ultimately, the new cabinetmaker had to tear out the entire Celtic pantry and install a new one. The new pantry cabinetry fit the space properly without gaps or visible shims, the kitchen cabinets were reinforced, the warped doors replaced, the closet completed, the bathroom cabinet remade and reinstalled. I hope that others will learn from our story and stay far away from

, for that way

only heartache.
p.s. We filed a complaint with the BBB. Celtic never responded.

We ordered 3 counter height barstools covered in gray leather with nail heads from

in May 2014 and received them 5 weeks later in June 2014. Though they cost a little more than most bar stools, they are VERY well made and look gorgeous. We would definitely order from them again. Extremely happy with our purchase.

, the "salesman" came off nice, polite and professional initially, but don't be fooled...It's just a front! Front that point on it all went downhill.

Even though he came for an estimate, he still used the previous contractor's measurements for his own, which
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
us to have to get a new insert, since the one we wanted wouldn't fit. The original insert had to be sent back since it couldn't fit

He failed to clarify what "flashing" was to be done. We were given the impression that flashing would be done around chimney. However, only the flashing was done around the top of the chimney, not the part of the chimney that goes around the home.

The liner was on "order" for weeks when it was in the warehouse the whole time, further delaying this install. Either miscommunication or just plain lying. On top of that they snuck in the liner costs in the price which wasn't broken down for us.

The whole ordeal took 3 months!! It was all a one sided conversation with them. We always had to call to follow up with them on anything. They hardly kept in communication with us. Extremely unprofessional. They lack communication between the customer and themselves. They take messages there for

, etc,, but somehow they always forget to be passed on.

I can go on and on about this "business" but the main takeaway is go somewhere else, it's not worth the headache and stress.

It is tough to find well made furniture these days.

The end result was excellent, but the speed bumps along the way were largely due to a lack of responsiveness or communication. The design somehow included such oddities as a floating microwave and frosted glass in a display cabinet, a missing toe-kick in front of the sink, and an implementation of the penultimate, rather than the final, design . However, the subcontractor and

both worked to bring the final project to a successful end.

After many weeks awaiting an estimate, we were initially told by one company that our design for our kitchen was impossible. Happily, two Angie's-List providers stepped up to the bat and made it happen. (The actual reconstruction by another company is covered in a separate review: this review covers only the cabinetry.)
During the initial phases of the cabinets' construction,
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
was sub-contracting for someone else. However, after the project was completed, we had additional requests and thoughts that we wanted to implement, and by then,
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
had ended their subcontracting relationship and we hired
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
directly to do some additional work (including a microwave cabinet, counter trim, and many small but important finishing touches). Note that in terms of the hands-on aspects,
Pinckney Designer Furniture Provider Name Locked
did ALL of the actual construction of the cabinets.
There doesn't seem to be any way to add before-and-after photographs, which is a shame. A picture is worth 1000 words ...

Great quality furniture that is made from recycled plastic. It's won't wear easily or fade from the sun. They give you a 20 year warranty. Completely worth the money and they will ship it right to you.
