"I had to approximate the date as
just asked today for a review. My memory is very clear about the service provided by Dr.
" . As a nurse for 47+ years, I am pretty attuned to how health care is delivered and the problems patients often face. I feel Dr.
does an outstanding job in every area. I was pleased to receive detailed explanations and a reasonable treatment plan. It was a joy not to have to wait an extra hour for an appointment. I have recommended him to many others. My surgery and followup went well. Happily, the cyst was benign.

Everyone in the office was very friendly. The wait was only about 5 minutes. The doctor was very nice, examined my foot, and explained the problem. He then removed a few layers of skin to reduce the "bump" and then coated it with a gel that hardened and bandaged it. The entire process took less than fifteen minutes. The one "negative" was the price. I know doctors are expensive, but over $200 for 15 minutes worth or work caught me off guard.

Stern was very thorough. He explained the possible causes for my condition, had tests done to identify the problem, and offered me several different treatment options. My problem proved difficult to fix, but I was happy to have it corrected.

I have been going to this podiatrist since the Podiatry Hospital closed. That has been at least ten years. I find her staff very friendly and helpful. She is very friendly. I have not had any problems. I moved and now live about twelve miles from her practice and continue to go to her. She must be good or I would not travel the distance. There is a parking lot for customers. Sometime it is full and you have to park on the street. It is right near the

Office visit went quickly, they took 3 xrays, met with the Dr.
Petoskey Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
, he gave a good diagnosis. We discussed treatment. Dr.
Petoskey Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
suggested we first try a brace and if this did not work, an MRI would be recommended. Sounded like a good plan to me. I tried the brace out, but honestly it was difficult to wear with shoes so, it was not something I used much.
Received the bill yesterday(7/13) ... the brace was $888.80!!!! I called the billing specialist thinking this was a typo and maybe they meant $88.80. Well, she informed me that $888.80 was the allowable NC charge. I found the same exact make and model brace online for $74.99. How can they legally do this? I called my insurance company and they called and left a message with the office manager Bill. So far I have not heard back, but hope to later today.
Not once did someone offer information on the price of the brace. I did not ask, as per Dr.
Petoskey Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
this was the least expensive treatment option. I expected it would be around $100.... but certainly NOT $888.80.

Though bunion surgery is known for being painful, mine was not as painful as I anticipated. He was concerned about the healing as well as the regaining the ability to walk normal again. I was walking in a shoe about 2 weeks before expected and was able to go back to driving and work (it was on my right foot)
Very helpful doctor and staff
