"All the doctors are on the same page and they share your medical records. My daughter has Chron’s disease and I’ve been diagnosed with a rare cancer." There was so much unknown but the doctors were just fantastic! If you have to be hospitalized, with

"I highly recommend him. He had been recommended me by my Allergist. He was good, his office if full and busy but he took the time with me that I needed. There was" not a log wait at all. He gives a personal call to all of his patients with the test results. I have no complaints at all and I will stick with him. I was impressed with this man

First, no one ever answers the phone if you want to make an apointment or returns calls for two days. And then I had to wait a month until after the first of the year when I had to start a new deductible to have a colonoscopy. I was told by
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
that a new patient forms pack would be emailed to me that I would need to complete. I received an email from
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
, but there were no new patient forms attached. Fortunately,
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
responded to my email notifying her that I had not received a new patient forms pack with a replacement the same day and I did not wait days for her to return my call. I completed the new patient forms and went to the Woodstock office for my first appointment. i paid my insurer's $45 copay and waited to see the doctor. I was then told that for a colonoscopy procedure, I did not have to see a doctor, unless I wanted to, and my copay would be refunded. I chose not to see the doctor and my copay was refunded, but I had to stay there and go over all my forms, medical history and prescription drugs with the a nurse. I had neatly typed all my information on their forms with Adobe Acrobat, PDF, provided my own list of medications and my daily schedule of when I took medications. After I answered all their questions and provided the required completed forms, an apointment was made for my colonoscopy the next week.
I went next week for my colonscopy In the "colonscopy" area down the hall and after about a 15 minute wait, I was escorted to a preop area by a nurse named
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
.
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
initially had a present demenior, but this soon changed.
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
started going over my medical history, medications and when I last took these medications. My medical history and last time I took medications was in front of her that I had filled out that morning. Then she wanted to go over all my medications and when I took each of them last. I told her that the complete list of medications was very long and I had dropped off a couple of copies in their office in the same hallway where I initially went to last week.
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
said they did not have my list of medications next door and that I should have brought my list of medications with me. She was going to have to call my pharmacy so she could make sure she had a complete list. Then she made a very condecinding and rude remark that I should always bring my list of medications with me when I go to the Doctors office. I told her again that I did bring the list, several versions, and dropped them office in their main reception room, just as told to do. I told
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
the people in the main reception room were lying to her or she was lying to me. I said I would put my paints back on and walk next door a get the list. She said no one was holding me there and I could leave any time I wanted. I asked if I could get my $220 copay from this visit back but she did not want to answer. I was not really interested in leaving and starting over again after had taken their prep and sat on the toilet all night.

then said she would have to speak or get her boss,

said that it was her job to to give me the anesthesia for the proceedure and she again started asking me about my medical history, and when I had last taken my medications again.

wanted me to start over telling her everything, I had provided on my first visit and everything I had just given to

someone would talk to a child, not a 60 year old man. Just listening to her was extremely irritating. Any when
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
finally stuck a needle in my arm for the anesthesia, she said this is the most painful thing that would happen. I said, no, listening to her talk to me like a child and ask the same questions for the third time was the most painfull. Then another nurse in the operating room, named
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
, jumped in and proceeded to tell me off on how how nessary it was to keep asking the same questions over and over. Why was this evil
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
even talking to me at all? I said nothing to this rude woman. I will never visit this group of imbeciles and and babbling idiots again. They care absolutely nothing about how they inconvience, treat or speak to customers.

I was in a lot of pain from Sibo. I was in the car on the way over when the office called and cancelled my appointment, the doctor had an emergency. I understood. When I went to the rescheduled appointment, which was nearly an hour drive from my home, the receptionist told me she wasn't sure when the doctor would arrive. I did not raise my voice or respond in anger, I simply tried to get a response that he would arrive. She didn't confirm either way. When I didn't get an answer, I decided to wait. To my surprise the office manager came out, stood above me in front of other patients and asked me if there was a problem. I explained the situation, my pain and cancelled appointment, etc. She replied, "We aren't a

's you know." This was condescending and rude. I waited for the doctor. He said that before we went forward he had to know that I would be polite to the staff. I explained the scenario. The office manager did upset me. He agreed there were two sides to every story, but then repeated the phrase--"We aren't a

's." I felt blackmailed to behave for healthcare and felt this common comment was condescending and arrogant, not to mention the lack of concern for my condition.

I have been seeing this doctor since January of 2014. He is very highly respected and well known in his field. He is always on top of things and will tell me how it is. If something is going well, he will tell me. He keeps me on the right track and I am getting better and healthier.

Doc
Oakland Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
is personable and knowledgeable. He put my mind at ease regarding a procedure that men inheritantly do not like. He examined me thorougly and suggested the procedure. Issues were noted during the colonoscopy that were resolved on the spot. I require beefed up followup care to prevent future issues, and I plan on continuing to see Doctor

for this care.

I received notification of a pending bill that should have been $0 as my insurance covers preventive screenings. The billing department was beyond rude when I asked why it was billed as "medical". The person in billing actually insinuated that because I had listed a family history of colon cancer that this (my first screening) medical and that because the doctor removed a benign polyp it was even "more medical". The absurdity is that 2 co-workers had the same procedure at different locations with removal of polyps in their colonoscopy and no charge was made against a co-pay or deductible. This leads me to believe that this is a routine way to gouge patients. When I asked the woman in billing to speak with the doctor she hung up the phone. Needless to say I am angry enough about this situation to write of very poor review of this organization. I recommend that anyone seeking a colonoscopy at this location receive confirmation in advance as to whether the procedure will be billed as Preventive or Medical -- in my case there is an $800 out of pocket difference for absolutely no difference in either the doctors time or efforts. It also may pay to shop around and avoid dishonest medical practices.

I have Barretts Esophagus and biopsies from a Gastroscopy last June showed it has progressed to Low Grade Dysplasia. The guidelines require a repeat Gastroscopy in 6 months to confirm the Dysplasia which we did. This time biopsies did not show Dysplasia so they recommended another Gastroscopy in one year. I will be going to the University of Michigan in March for a second opinion. Unrelated to this, I was in a motorcycle accident in 1988 and have had around 27 Orthopedic operations in about 10 Hospitals. I am real familiar with Doctors and Clinics and I am also a patient of the
