Livonia Garage Door Repair Companies Reviews
They installed the drywall with nails and did not inform me. I discovered this when they started popped out. I contacted the company and to settle for about a year and then they would come out and make any needed corrections. I've never in my life heard anything so ridiculous. 1st of all why wasn't the drywall installed with screws? Why wasn't I told about any settling and possible nail popping? 4 yrs. later, they have not come out to make the repairs. They also installed metal corners over the drywall and did not do a good job blending it so the lines are visible and every corner has lost it's paint.
The grout of the ceramic tile they installed in the bathroom is breaking up and the tiles are detaching. The toilet sounds like it is going to regurgitate when you flush it. They installed a mirror and no medicine cabinet. I did manage to get them to come back to do that. Something they used in the construction process caused the metal finishes on the light fixture, cabinet hardware, and shower to corrode, all of the finishes are speckeld with rust.
In 2011 the brand new roof started leaking. I had to call them numerous times for several months before they came out to fix the roof. I told the person that came to fix the roof about all the other problems and showed him what was wrong. He said he would let them know and someone would be in touch. That has not happened yet.
There is a several inch gap under all the doors. I had to install door sweeps on these hollow wood doors.
At the top of the stairs there is a 10'5 X 9'6 area outside of 2 bedrooms. This area is between a long length of stairs and the hallway leading to 2 more bedrooms and the bathroom. They did not put heat vents in this area.
The vent covers do not fit properly over the heat ducts. They are gapping from the wall in some rooms in other rooms you have to unscrew them to adjust the air flow.
I have weatherguard windows throughout my home and they were instructed to order the 3 windows they needed from weatherguard. They did not. They installed something they thought was better. The windows are difficult to open and close, the screens do not fit properly and the corners are not sealed, you can literally see outside where the horizontal and vertical frame meet.
They used regular wood instead of composite to build the steps and railing. They are warped, split, and soft. The porch deck instead of replacing the entire board they cut off the edges and replaced that. They did not bother to caulk along the bottom of the enclosed porch to keep the water from coming in. When it snows there is a snow mound on the inside of the porch and the wood stays damp from the rain.
The garage door is ill-fitted. When it rains or snows water/snow comes into the garage through the sides of the door. The garage door opener, they plugged into a ligh socket instead of installing an outlet for the plug.
Hiring this company is by far of the worst decisions I'v eever made. I will be consulting an attorney to see about recouping the cost of having someone else come in to fix what they did wrong."
