Have been a customer for years without much problem. Received and paid May 2014 bill. Check written and sent 5/16 and cleared the bank on 5/19. Received June 2014 bill stating they had not received May's payment. I called on June 4, 2014. I received a TICKET #, and that the billing research department would call us in 5 working days. I forgot about it until the
bill arrived. There was still a billing discrepancy. I called customer service again.
10, 2014. Was told that there was no record of my first call or the check #,clear date and tracking # or ticket #.. I told them I was concerned that this situation could hurt our credit score. They took the information again and gave me a new ticket #. I should receive a call in 3 to 5 days .No call ever came. I called back on
25.This is getting ridiculous, and could hurt our credit. I asked for a supervisor. Guess what? No record of ANY conversations or Ticket #s. She apologized and said she would put a note, to keep on the account until it could be researched to keep it out of collections .Put me on hold to get A NEW TICKET NUMBER and disconnected me. I had given them my contact phone, but they never called back. The next morning my husband receives a call from the collections department demanding payment! I WAS FURIOUS!! I had done my due diligence, but they had not followed through, not once! I called back and they HAD NO RECORD OF MY CALLS OR CONVERSATIONS OR TICKET #s. I was given a new ticket # and that I would receive a call in 3 to 5 days. I tried to keep my cool. I requested that he email me a copy of the information so there would be a trail that customer service and I could follow. I was told that" they did not do that". I requested the address for there main office. I wanted to keep a paper trail and also send a letter of my dissatisfaction and outrage for their horrible record keeping. "They do not have a main office." I said that there is always a national headquarters. He said it was in Pennsylvania, but he could give me no other information..I lost it. Their billing system and customer service is not customer oriented, but protective of
! They are not responsible for their actions, and make their customers jump through hoops, and care little that they are possibly ruining their customers name, with their disregard for their poor business practices!

Do not bundle unless, you like a.expensive bill all at once and most cases they don't work for everyone. And your not getting a great price. I switched to Direct TV they are responsive on time and I was not pressured into anything and my bill stays the .same.

Moved to the vegas area last year and thought I would just start with

for my tv and internet. Every 6 weeks or so,I had
to have a technician come out due to problems with the TV. No, I’m not exaggerating. There would be pixeling on shows, live or recorded, all the time. Some channels would just be black for certaintimes of the day on HD but ok on the non-HD channel. The list of problems goes on and on. They would check outside and always sayeverything was OK, then replace the HD box.
Things would work ok for another 6 weeks or so and then sameissues. One guy even went so far as to tell me the
house is probably in need of new cable rewiring!! I kept telling all of these ‘technicians’ it’sthe HD box and not to give me the same model.

’t service the boxes, they just replace the physical connector on the box. That explains why
each box that got replaced had previous recordings already scheduled on them. Prices also went up tremendously after my initial sign-on rate expired.

chaos, and getting price gouged for a small selection of channels, I finally switched to satellite and couldn’t be happier.

The internet service took over an hour to set up and was never fully 100% functional. The TV service didn't have the channels we were expecting and the numbering system for the channels were scattered so we were constantly searching for our regular channels and than after two weeks with the service we kept getting messages on the screen that the channels had moved to a different location but did not say what channel they had moved to. On the installation, The cable was installed improperly and a job order was put in to have the cable to the house run correctly with a total NO SHOW. I canceled all service with Charter and went with Frontier.

My problems started with my initial installation order. I was not asked if I had a HD TV. When new box was installed the tech said my set was new so should be able to "handle it." This is our summer home so we are not there enough to notice some channels were blurry. I later complained I was told it was pass allotted period and any upgrades would be charged. I had no choice to agreed and set up a new install at $150. I later decided to cancel the install and was told my credit card would not be charged. Later I found out I was charged and finally reached a President customer compliant section who helped me get my money back and upgraded me as requested with DVR service added. That final install went well.

I reported the problem of a non functioning modem. They came and replaced the modem. System worked for a day or so. System quit and I reported the problem. Another repairman was sent. He traced the lines and found something not up to grade and replaced it. The modem worked for a few days. It quit again. This went on for at least 2 weeks. The last man who came discovered that the problem originated on the outside where someone had improperly installed something knocking my service out.
Each repairman was courteous and interested as to why this problem kept popping up. None of them was condescending or thought of me as a complaining pain.....

right. A service person came out- insisted he put ithe cable connection somewhere I did not want it. I told him no I wanted it in the basement. He left without putting in my cable and internet. I called and told them what happened. It took another phone call and about a month before they sent out a different service personwho put the box in the basement without any problem. Always seem to move around channels so you have to purchase higher cost package. I have rabbit ears now.
