I left a phone message with the above information.
called back, and after I provided the same information and a little more, he said, "Well I'm not going to come look at it for free!" I asked why, and he lit into me, saying "Who - in his right mind - would come out there to look at work that someone else did - " That is all he said because I interrupted to say that I didn't want to work with him and hung up.
I could not believe my ears. It was insulting, rude, and completely unprofessional. He could have said that he would need to charge a certain amount and explain why without being so rude. And his listing here says that he provides free estimates, so in my mind that shouldn't be an issue.

We had arranged to have
come to our home to do a free inspection in regards to water in our basement. They were to come Friday
25th at 8:00 pm. On Thursday a woman called my husband to make sure we were going to be there. My husband said "one of us should be here" since we own a farm he might be working in the field. He told me "she was almost rude" and kept asking him a lot of questions and said she would call back the day of inspection but she never did. We were at home all evening waiting with no call and no show. Today, she called his cell phone to "reschedule our free inspection"! I called back to tell her we did not like the way they did business and would use someone else on Angie's list. We would never call someone to make arrangements for them to come to our home and NOT be here! If my husband was not here, I am perfectly capable of understanding what is being offered. My ears work fine!

came to consider the problem and give me an estimate. He seemed very thoughtful and sincere. We agreed on the price and the date when work would start. With no delays, the work started on the agreed-upon date.

does the actual deconstruction and puts in the drainage. He has a team of three men, including himself, and they completed the job in 3 days. It may have been the hottest 3 days of the summer but they didn't complain--I couldn't believe how diligent they were. And they didn't "thrash." we've probably all had people working on our homes that made us wonder if the house was going to be standing when they were through. These guys were great--I'd definitely call them professionals. Once they finished, I had a couple items I wanted done a different way. That was no problem. They came back and finished it very much to my satisfaction. Whenever I called the company, I received a call back. I would definitely use

. again but I think my problem is solved. I'm not worried because the company gives a lifetime warranty and I have no doubt that they will stand behind their word.

The representative did not give me much information nor did he go under the house in the crawl space to evaluate the condition and needs. He handed me a pamphlet with some prices and a few words written on it .I was having a yard sale and my help hadn't showed up yet so perhaps he was trying to be quick, but it seemed that he just didn't really want to fool with the job.

I called
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
because I suspected that my drainage system was not working properly. I was given an appointment within a couple of days. Nick came out and assessed my basement and actually suggested that I try Roto Rooter as a first step. Roto Rooter was not able to reach the entire system, so
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
installed 6 access pipes, replaced my old sump pump, and revised my sump well. All work was completed on time and on budget. The crew was respectful and very competent, and cleaned up after the cement work. I am very pleased with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them .

We contacted Oriole for there "supposedly expertise" in the waterproofing field. We were told that all we needed were a few more weep holes and mired tile installed. Since we are not waterproofers, we took
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
experience into consideration and thought that he knew what he was talking about. Boy were we wrong.
His guys
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
hammered the perimeter of the basement, supposedly put in more weep holes and the tile. The next morning we went to the basement to find 2 inches of water. We had to call a plumber who discovered that the sump pump (which has always worked), was filled with stone/concrete from the

hammering and a pair of sunglasses. All of this stopped the sump pump from working and now we were in worst shape then before the job was done. We had just installed new drywall.
After calling
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
to ask what he was going to do about this situation, his response was it had nothing to do with his work. He did not believe his guys jammed our sump pump with concrete or dropped sunglasses in the pit, who else did this, they were the only company we hired!

would not even come to investigate the issue due to the fact that he had health issues, ok, we understand, send someone else!!
The plumber replaced both sumps and we thought we were ok so we installed new drywall AGAIN, painted, put in new
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
carpet and completely finished the basement, it looked great. We were putting our house on the
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
to sell as we were moving. We started cleaning up and noticed green mold on our brand new trim and carpet! So we got estimates from other companies regarding the waterproofing, had to roll up brand new carpet and cut out brand new painted drywall, rent a POD and move everything back out (we did this after Oriole's fabulous work initially, put it all back in the house and had to repeat). All 3 waterproof companies told us that we should not have only had more weep holes and tile, but an entire new french drain should have been installed. The drain wasn't even connected to the outside drain, it was cut off!! Once again, an entire water guard system was installed at the cost of $6800.00, and is guaranteed for LIFE! Once again, we replaced drywall, painted, had the carpet tacks re-installed and the carpet kicked back in. The expense of all of this has been ridiculous.
So if this company is THAT experienced, why did they not recommend the system be replaced instead of putting on bandaids?? It is infuriating to depend on people that are educated and experienced in work that you need done and you rely on them to get the issues resolved, not create more problems.

was excellent to deal with - he was courteous, professional and on-time. He did everything he said he would within the time frame he quoted. His team was great as well, very respectful and hard working. They did an amazing job - my basement walls look great and the windows are perfect, it made such a difference. I would recommend him a million times over, completely satisfied with their work - in fact I wish I had used them for the drainage system I installed earlier this year.

The estimate I got from
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
beat the competitors by a landslide. He had no issues whatsoever using the quality sump pump I already owned, and even factored in some savings since I already had a pit as well. A
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
yet thorough explanation of the process followed by a fair quote was greatly appreciated. No sales tactics. No pressure. He was happy to come out a second time as well when I had more questions (even on a weeknight).
Fast forward a month -

and
Kincheloe Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
show up first thing on a Monday morning ready roll. They encouraged me to come down and see each stage of the process and seemed to take a lot of pride in their work. My old house was stubborn when it came to just about everything, so the work ended up going an extra 1/2 day, but the emphasis was always to not cut any corners and make sure it was a quality install that I was happy with. They were careful with all of my stuff and even replaced an old junky utility sink that accidentally took a tumble. Again... greatly appreciated.
A few days after the job was complete, I noticed some of the concrete by the new stairwell drain had deteriorated due to a flash storm that hit right after they left. I called Anchor and they had someone out the next day to patch it right up. Free of charge of course. This gave me confidence they'll stand by their lifetime guarantee in the unlikely event I have any problems in the future.
Finally (and most importantly), after several rainstorms over the last few weeks - the basement has continued to stay dry. Not a drop of water in sight.

Whatever you do, get a three estimates. B&B's estimate was over twice the amount of the other estimates for the same work.
Be very careful and do your HW before hiring this company. Whatever you do, be sure to get 3 estimates. Ask a lot of questions for all companies.
