"The entire event went very well. There were many aspects of this sale that could have gone wrong but not did due to the professionalism of the owner/operators and staff. They were very professional and friendly to myself and the buyers. They had a good game plan for the sale and made minor adjustments as needed. The generates a great deal of interest in the sale through mutable forms of advertisement.
The owners, Will and
were outstanding and made this sale possible but beyond that they made it fun. I was able to liquidate numerous items that I no longer needed or wanted in a timeframe that I could not have on my own.

"Everything was taken care of. The house was cleared out with everything ready to sell. They checked with me on items that they wondered if it I wanted sold.
Ed's assistants went beyond the call of duty in making sure that the house was ready to be cleaned in preparation for being put on the
.
The check arrived withing days of the sale and there was an itemization of the items sold and the sale price.
Can't thank Ed
enough.

"They took pictures of everything that was damaged, researched how much each item was currently worth then put it in portfolio, which was both on a CD and on paper. It was so well done that when I took the moving company to court that the judge easily awarded the asked for compensation. They were extremely professional!

was excellent! She was thorough but quick. I didn't think that she would get thru all the items in the time I planned for but she did. The information she gave us (giving approximate time periods, etc) was interesting and some items ended up being worth more than I anticipated. It gave me a good idea on the value of items I plan to sell and a value for the items I plan to pass on to my children. I would definitely use

"I was advised prior to their visit to have everything that we wanted appraised out in a limited area to save all of us time and to save us money. They were there just at two hours and went through a lot of items, as we have a large variety of sterling silver flatware and serving pieces.
Time will tell on the appraisal prices when we go to sell the items appraised however there are a few things I had a feel for pricing on prior to

and

coming to our house and those were accurate.
I believe this couple to be very honest and very accurate. I would call them again.

appraised and bought some various estate items (Art, Furniture, silverware). He was very professional, friendly, no high pressure and he took his time to review and appraise the items (over 4 hrs). Very knowledgeable about the various antiques he viewed. Very fair with the appraisal and prices offered. I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking to sell family heirlooms.

"I contacted
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
about some items I wanted to sell. They told me to take pictures of the items and to e-mail them. I called them a couple of days after I sent the e-mail and the woman who answered told me that they would be interested in some of the items. I asked her about the china that I wished to sell and she told me that "
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
" said it was worth $150.00. I asked her if that was for one place setting. They were aware that I had place settings for 12. She told me that she would get back to me. After a couple of days I called again to ask if they had the prices for the 12 place settings along with a serving platter. and I was told that she would find out from "
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
". I had done some research and I knew that one place setting alone goes for close to $200.
When she called me back she said that the $150.00 figure that she quoted was for all 12 place settings. I then asked her about the other items that I had and those prices were also really low according to my research.
I know that
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
's had some good reviews and that is why I contacted them. They must be for people interested in buying and not selling.

was very friendly and accommodating on the phone and agreed to meet us at my mom's place (at no charge for consult) to see if/what services we needed. He did a walk-through of her place, talking to us about various pieces and what he thought they were worth. When finished walking through, he quoted us his fee for pricing the whole estate...which was very reasonable, and he talked/walked us through other options for those items not sold after estate sale and how we could proceed. He politely shared that he didn't really think we needed his services and told us which pieces were worth the most, etc...and we felt confident about proceeding forth with the estate sale with the advice/guidance he offered...free!! He's the best in the business and knows values of everything. Very nice and authentic man!!

"Mr.
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
spent a rather lengthy amount of time (25 minutes or so?) conversing with me about the china set. He stated that that was not his particular area of expertise but was very willing to give me the information that he had and help steer me in the right direction. I really had no idea how to go about this, and he outlined for me in detail where to begin and what steps I might take to determine the potential value of the set. My family has never used the china and we felt that it would be better put to use by someone, rather than sitting in boxes in the garage.

I was prepared to spend money to have the set appraised, but based on the information Mr.
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
gave to me I decided it was not worthwhile going this formal route. I did look into several websites that he mentioned. I was very appreciative of his willingness to impart information and give me detailed recommendations even after it became apparent that I would not be a paying customer. Many times I've found this to not be the case.

"He was well mannered and very professional. The pictures he took of us were amazing! The quality of this mans work is amazing and at a fraction of the cost of the competition. We called J.C. Penny's photo department and they wanted 100.00 just to take the pictures. He took the pictures ( at the
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
park once, and once in our home) printed them, and then framed them for the same price that J.C. Penny wanted to just take them. He framed a 24x36 image for only 100.00. That is a 200.00 job at hobby lobby! We were so happy with his work we hired him to take pictures at my grand daughters wedding in
Farmington Hills Antique Appraisals Provider Name Locked
. Bottom line he is the best and the most reasonably priced picture framer in town.
