Business Description: Ms. Parri is a teacher, nurse and health educator with a passion for improving the quality and quantity of our lives by implementing the 8 Laws of Health known as N.E.W.S.T.A.R.T. The N represents nutrition, the E represents exercise, the W represents water, the S represents sunlight, the first T represents temperance in all things, the A represents air, the R represents rest and most importantly, the last T represents trust in Divine Power. Because of the grace and mercy of God I hold a B. A. in Communications with a minor in Business Administration from Oakwood University, Huntsville, AL, as well as a M.S. in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University also in Huntsville, AL. Further, the Lord also allowed me to graduate from J.F. Drake State Technical College, Huntsville, AL, in the LPN Program. But, most important is my decision to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior many years ago. Secondly, I have a loving and beautiful circle of devoted family and friends who care for me. Parri’s Custom Gift Designs™ expresses Ms. Parri’s love for creating custom gift designs, including gift baskets, scented candles and silk flower arrangements, which are both beautiful and practical. Parri’s Learning Corner™ consists of books, flash cards, number cards and a learning puppet for children, boys and girls - preschool through 2nd grade. The Parri’s Learning Corner™ Book Series – Cleanliness, Nutrition & Recycling with Parri© - three (3) individual books - focuses on recycling, nutrition and personal hygiene and are filled with poems, puzzles, words finds, coloring, and many other fun activities to share with your child, students, friends, and family. We also have an array of educational tools for children, including multi-cultural flash cards of famous individuals, multi-lingual number cards, bookmarks and certificates of completion for the Parri’s Learning Corner™ Book Series. We're featuring the Parri’s Teaching Puppet™ for children ages preschool to 2nd grade. This children’s puppet teaches and reinforces fine motor skills, such as tying, buttoning, zipping and snapping. Parri’s Teaching Puppet™ also teaches and reinforces shapes i.e.- circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, hexagons, octagons and pentagons. Other skills include pronunciation skills, including beginning and ending letter sounds and blends. Because of Parri’s Teaching Puppet™’s original design, children can read with and read to others, therefore improving reading skills immensely!
