"The work that

"
was excellent!! Customer Service was a 10 out of 10.
found our exact carpet that we were told was out of production." She had it delivered from across the country on time for our grand opening. Her installers worked diligently until the install was a perfect fit. When comparing prices,
came out as the superior choice. Easy to work with and easy to get on the phone. Will use again. Hire
with total confidence. A great business!!

Explore these green options for your new flooring

If you're looking for eco-friendly flooring, research and understand the composition of the flooring, as well as the adhesives, glues and other products used during the installation.

Wood floor alternatives

Consumers have many choices beyond traditional hardwood floors, including wood laminate and renewable sources such as bamboo, cork and even leather. Some alternatives look virtually the same as hardwoods.

Bamboo flooring is a great option for your basement since it is naturally water resistant, allowing the floor to keep more of its structural integrity, says Vorndran. (Photo courtesy of Angie's List member John M. of Virginia Beach, Va.)

From the wall street journal online:

"Etiquette and tipping experts agree that tipping a contractor and his employees isn't expected because contractors offer to do a job for you at a specific price. Any extra money they would want would be built into their bid. Also, it's a business relationship rather than one where they are performing a personal service for you like a waiter or a maid. But if the employees do extra jobs around the house, then experts say it is appropriate to tip a cash amount equivalent to the task; "tip gifts" such as cookies and drinks can count. "The key to tipping is whether or not it was outside the scope of what was normally expected," says Mark Brenner, author of "Tipping for Success!"

My opinion is that a little bit of courtesy (snacks, drinks, expression of appreciation etc.) goes a long way and upon completion of their work you feel compelled by a job well done to offer a little extra in the form of a tip - go for it, but do not feel obligated.
?
Agreed.  If you have existing cracking in porcelain you need to know the cause first.  I don't know of any reputable contractor that would dare install tile over existing tile.  Also, any manufacturer warranties for defects would be null due to improper installation.  Did the contractor offer this solution or did you ask for it?  The mear fact that he is agreeing to or offering it tells me you need to leave this guy for someone who knows what they are talking about before he does only half the job which will have to be redone in the near future, costing you more in the long run.

I get so many calls from customers that were talked into a "cheaper" way to do something only to find the work very sub-par.  The sad part is they are out the money they spent in the first place along with the additional amount I have to charge just to undo what the first contractor did before I can do it right.  This floor could end up costing you double what it should if it's not done right.

Came out on time (3 different crews) did the jobs in good time, and cleaned up after the job except the one that did the storm door. I made a complaint to the company about that. All jobs were professional work - well satisfied overall.

Found them on-line and loved the information on fireplace remodeling that they have on their website. They came out, I believe the person's name was
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. He gave me great suggestions and a ballpark price. I had to put a hold on the project for about six months. When I called for them to come back out and measure and provide a quote they never returned my calls. I must have called at least six times and left a v-mail. I even went on their Facebook page and left a message and posted a comment (which was deleted) I really wanted them to do the work and was trying to coordinate the fireplace remodel with new floor installation. I NEVER received a call back. Maybe my job was too small for them. Too bad they didn't have the courtesy to call and let me know they were not interested in doing the work. Would never consider doing business with them.

The best part about
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was the advice
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
gave me when he came to do the estimate. I wanted marmoleum, but because I said I was dealing with a cat who sprayed he suggested luxury vinyl instead, explaining that marmoleum is made from wood products so it wouldn't stand up to the acidity of cat urine. I can't tell you how frustrated I would have been to spend a bunch of money on new floors, only to have them ruined again (and no, I would never consider getting rid of my cat).
Then we went down to the showroom to look at products and
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
spent lots of time explaining things backwards and forwards to us.
The process from there became a bit laborious. It took a long time to get our samples. When we finally got an installation appointment scheduled (I was told it would take a day for the installation and put aside that time) and they tore out the old carpet and said that the cement floor had excess moisture in it and needed to dry for several days (it would have been helpful to plan for that in advance). So we had to set up fans and rescheduled for 2 days later. I expected them to arrive at 10am but they didn't get there until 2pm, and since it was late they had to come back the next day to finish. Then we had some miscommunication about whether to do/not do a landing/under the stairs. That finally got worked out, though I'm still waiting to have it done.
I would say that
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
(the project manager) really tried to make sure I was happy with the process and the outcome. My husband tells me that this is just how things go with contractors. I do like the look of the floor and the carpet on the stairs. Only time will tell h

The owner
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
quoted my floor a day after I called for an estimate. Within the same week we picked out a new floor and scheduled an install date. Everything went flawlessly from start to finish. We didn't have to move the appliances. The following day the owner called to follow up with ny husband and I to see if we were satisfied and if we had any concerns. We were more than satisfied. Our new floor gives our kitchen a luxury feeling. I highly recommend them. Price was great and a very professional team who care about their clients.

My Wife and I have a
Columbus Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
eye for detail and craftsmanship. We purchased a condo that was in need of updating. We had the owner of Serenity meet with us prior to closing and informed him of our vision for the bathrooms. He was easy to work with and helped come up with several ideas. Upon start of the remodel we found that a previous remodel had been attempted and several leaks were diagnosed. The craftsmanship of the previous work was beyond HORRIBLE. Serenity crews diagnosed and repaired all existing problems. Some of the problems were not related to any of the contracted job but crew members jumped on them right away. Change order charges were reasonable for all.

This is a top quality company that feels like you are dealing with family. From the owner down, every single person we dealt with were most of all craftsman. They care about the work and the satisfaction of the client. From

the project leader. He went above and beyond in addressing each and every concern, every detail, every requested change with professionalism. If he saw or thought of something we had not it was brought to our attention. Can't say enough. These guys are a special group. They held it together during some challenges with both the project, other contractors and stressed out homeowners.

During the project cleanup was performed at the end of each day, care was taken around any existing furniture and walls. The floor was covered in padded runners as well as tarps. Detail and pride in their work is visible in everything they touch. This kind of caring and craftsmanship is rare these days. It was appreciated greatly.

The finished project exceeded expectations. The custom canopied shower is amazing. Fit and finish is flawless.
