did a fantastic job and it was no easy task since I" had multiple breaks in the lines and pretty much most of the heads needed to be replaced and realigned. The system itself needed to be replaced.

Lawn irrigation and sprinklers

Watering your lawn sounds simple enough, but many people don't do it correctly, even when they invest in automated irrigation systems. An inexpensive timer is the best investment whether you're using buried water lines or a garden hose.

Irrigation System reviews in Coloma

I have a new construction home where the price the builder wanted to charge for installing irrigation was obviously inflated and seemed to be a much better value to get it done myself. That being said, I did not know of or have any good references to an irrigation company thus found a few here on Angie's list that were highly rated. Doing this myself also had challenges of a tight window between final grade and sod coming in which both dates can shift and aren't specifically known until close to or on the actual date the builder was going to complete it.
That being said, with those challenges, I worked with
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
, the owner, to get a quote which was the best one I received, primarily due to the fact that I found out a few of my neighbors in the development were also using
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
so having them already in the area saves them costs that were passed on to me.
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
was extremely accommodating to the scheduling challenges, gave me a quote while also walking me through what he was planning to do to answer any questions and make adjustments as we talked. Once finalized,
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
personally came with a crew on an agreed upon day and time and installed the system quickly and accurately, while ensuring to show me all the controls once finished. The system has been working great ever since and I could not be happier with what was put in.
What really puts
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
above and beyond, not just price, flexibility, and professionalism, was the fact that once the sod was put in, I asked
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
if they would be able to come out and adjust to ensure full coverage which they did quickly and for free. Additionally, when I was doing some landscaping I accidentally put a small cut in the irrigation line. I called
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
on a holiday weekend which he promptly called me back and came out within the week to fix the problem I created for free.
Based on everything mentioned, I could not recommend
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
and this company enough. I've been referring everyone I know since and would encourage anyone looking for a new system or work done on an existing one to give these guys are call. They are great and certainly worth your business.

This was our first experience with this type and size of project and after consulting with several references on his list we decided to move forward with a contract. We should have had an inclination from the beginning when his contract left out several specific details regarding the project. In fact we submitted and requested an acknowledgement of amendments to the original contract which was never signed but verbally acknowledged. The project began in late Fall/Early winter and continued through the Spring with several delays on the contractors part "due to incliminate weather" although his snow plowing business was in full swing. We had justifiable concernes with a subcontractor he had hired and when brought to the contractors attention he defended the sub rather than attempting to come to resolution with us. Ultimately we fired his sub and had to hire our own subcontractor for HVAC work. Unfortunately much of the errors in the original HVAC sub could not be corrected without substantial cost because the work had already been closed up with drywall. Several other incidents of poor craftmanship arose that had we not been on site daily would have gone unnoticed for example insulation. The sub contractor for insulation arrived and the lead foreman on our porject didnt bother to verify what they were installing in the walls was the incorrect R factor. It was noted and brought to their attention by us and confirmed the wrong material was being installed which was later removed and correct insulation installed. In addition the finish work both exterior and interior was horrible. Supposedly the contractor had a family member who was excellent at trim work. the work was shoddy and often times the corners did not meet and the wood filler placed in the gaps was raised wiped off on other walls and woodwork requiring extensive sanding and reapplication. the exterior trim leaves much to be desired along with vinyl siding starter strips and j channel which are coming loose and uneveen. Overall we should have went with a contractor who specializes in remodels and cared about craftmanship. This was too large of a project for this contractor.

I contacted them on Monday 8/24. They called me on 8/24, at 1:16pm. I explained the issue I was having, and they said they would come out and fix it, on Tuesday, 9/1. I was hoping for a quicker response, but they said they were busy. I agreed, and asked they come early in the morning. On Tuesday, I get an email that asked if Tuesday, 9/11 at 8am was okay. Are you kidding me? 2 weeks after I first contacted them, and 10 days after the date they committed me? They came back and offered to move it to the 9th, at 2pm. Again, I asked about their commitment. Their comeback on that, was that I contact someone else. No professionalism, and no respect.

First, I want to make it clear that this evaluation is for the Complete Sprinkler Tune Up Deal that I purchased. If I evaluated it based on the work that I did not have them do, the evaluation would be completely different.
I tried to schedule the work within the first week immediately after purchasing the deal. I explained that we had a leak in at least one of the pipes that I knew would not be covered under the deal. Unfortunately, their first appointment was 2 weeks out. I almost cancelled so that I could get someone in sooner, but decided to live with it.
The two employees of
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
arrived and promptly did the work under the deal that I had purchased promptly. After that, they took me out and explained everything clearly. One of the tall sprinklers in the bushes was not properly connected. He explained that he shoved it back in, but that it really needed a $7
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
replacement to fix it properly, so that it would stay in. I was pleased with the work that they did under the Deal.
They also clearly explained three problems with my system. There were leaks in 2 stations and low flow in another station which they diagnosed as a problem which would require a valve replacement. They gave me an approximate cost of repair of (I think--I can't find the paper) $720, which included parts and labor. He explained that it could be more or it could be less, depending on how much digging they had to do to find the busted places and the valve. It included 3 hours of work each for 2 people. They flagged the places where the problems were. When I tried to schedule an appointment, it was not possible for another 10 days, even though I was leaking very badly (and it was already 2 weeks since initial contact). I scheduled the appointment just so that I could get in line (and cancelled it a few days later).
I got another company to do the labor. As it turns out, I did not need a valve replacement; there were 3 leaky pipes. It took 2 people just over an hour to perform the work. It cost me less than half of the amount that
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
quoted, and it was done within 3 days.
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
may be a good company, and they may have charged me a lot less than the original quote, but when you have leaks in your sprinkler, it can't wait around weeks for repairs. Also, I would have expected a more accurate estimate of the hours needed to do repair work--even if it had a bad valve, it wouldn't have taken 4 man hours additional to replace.

Went good. It took the guys two days to complete the job - we had some delays due to rain. They did a pretty clean job digging up the yard and putting everything back. The crew certainly seemed to "know the drill" and knocked it out fast.
The system has 8 zones, rain sensor, vacuum breaker valve, all the bells and whistles for a good basic system. I'm happy with the purchase, my wallet is ecstatic about the purchase. My collection of excess garden hoses and spray heads is in the trash.
Owner came by Monday to review the project with me - we went over the whole system and answered all my questions!

and team called before hand to say they were running early. This was great for me since I had to take off work. I met them at the house. We spoke briefly and in detail about what I wanted done. I was missing a backflow preventer, the system was last used a few years ago, and I know I had some broken heads. I also wanted the spray patterns checked. Within an hour and half I was back up and running. They were very professional. Worked quickly and efficiently. They had everything they needed on the truck with no running back and forth to the shop or office for parts. I was very impressed and very happy with the speed and quality of the repair. I will used them again and I recommend them to others.
- Christopher W.

Service was very good, polite and timely. We were comfortable with the amount we had to pay. He answered all the questions I had.
Will definitely use them again if we need.
- abhijit C.

The reason for the poor grade is not service, or quality it is more the lack of capacity.
Apparently business is so good and Clearwater is in such high demand that we can't get them to come out and give a quote....
Coloma Lawn Irrigation Services Provider Name Locked
(owner) is the only one who can give a quote for a bigger job incorporating gutters, drainage, french drains and landscaping... Apparently he is not available for love nor money either...
Although my overall grade is an F, I am certain you can see where this could be read as an A for Clear Water... Congrats on the good business.
Now if I could only find a business cousin to Clearwater that does as good a job that could provide a quote and get to work, before I need to build an ark!
P.S. The lady on the phone was gloriously professional despite my pleas kudos to her for that.
