"Everyone I've spoken with here has been polite, and seemingly wanting to help, but... they have not been able to deliver what they are selling yet. After" Numerous calls routed to their call center at Cablelynx and having a company tech out 3 times they have not been able to get the internet right and deliver the service I ordered and paid for. Prior to ordering the service I was told by both
and Cablelynx that what they call their high speed turbo (up to 50 mbps) was available at my address. I spoke with many, many people at both
City Hospital and Northeastern State University about internet providers in
prior to deciding what service to install. Despite many unflattering reviews, based on
/ Cablelynx's advertisements, the services featured on their website, and what they told me over the phone, I ordered their service. I Ordered and paid (by check at time of install) for the most expensive package they have at ($139 per month) for advertised speed up to 50 mbps. I'm Lucky if im getting 2- 3. Many times less than 1. I'm even having trouble with
email, much less web browsing. Forget about trying to access services like Netflix, it just hangs and hangs on this ISP's service. Numerous calls to their service center. I've recieved several reasons for why I'm having problems like they didn't have my order correct, I had not ordered their fastest service, that I had ordeed their enhanced package, not the turbo, ... That for some unexplained reason my modem had been set at residential speed level, etc... Again, I'm paying over $130/mo just for internet, and getting somewhere between 0.8 and 3 mbps. That's using Speedtest and numerous servers including their own sppedtest.ark.cablelynx.com. Last tech who came out yesterday admittted he was not getting much better from the connection and modem they installed. That's not even up to the advertised speed of their lowest priced ($59/mo) package. At 2 - 3 mbps I'm getting less than 20% of what I am paying for. Blamed it on the bandwidth. Couldn't do anything about it. His solution to the problem was to drop me down to their lowest price package, even though I was not getting anywhere near that speed either, and credit my account. Waiting to see how quickly that cedit happens. I was told they are in the process of upgrading infrastructure and that things should be better in another month or so. I'm assuming I'm dealing with professionals who understand the importance of providing service annd value to their loyal customers. I'm also assuming the people running this businss know they cant advertise something they cant deliver, and collect money from people under these circumstances. Perhaps the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, state utility regulators, and the FCC can explain this better than I can. I would like to be here again, in another month or so, and provide a glowing review of this company and their servce. Presently, I'm sitting tight, along with many friends and interested third party observers, waiting for them to deliver on my now adjusted, credited, slower, lower-tier internet service package, and hopefully, something closer to that 50 mbps they advertise for
, in the very near future.

"The above amount included WIFI services for a year and installation. Just about everyone in our area outside city limits use their service. It is the best we have" had in the nine years we have lived here.

Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
didn't port our phone number and we've been given multiple deadlines that have been missed. Either
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
is giving us the run around or has become completely incompetent.
On Monday January 5th (I believe), I called to switch my phone and internet from Dish to CentruryLink. I was quoted a great price ($45 a month for 20Mbit and unlimited phone).
The person told me that it would be set up the following Wednesday.
Note: I don't think I explicitly asked to "port" our number nor was I asked. I did say I wanted to transfer from Dish which I assumed implied that we wanted to take our number with us.
I called on that day (
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
7th) and was told that it would actually take effect the following Monday (
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
12th). I wasn't particularly happy with that because it meant that we couldn't cancel Dish until then but
That Monday came and I called Dish to cancel but was told that
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
had never requested to take over our number.
Again, I called Century link (still

12th). Talked to a supervisor and he told me that they would expedite the transfer within 2 days but that it was scheduled to complete on January 21st. This time, I completed the 3rd party verification for number transfer, which the first person I talked to didn't have me do.
I will update as things progress.
Those two days passed with no action and I called back. The person I talked to seemed to have never heard of expediting a number transfer and told me to wait for January 21st.
It is not January 22nd and the transfer hasn't happened. However, yesterday (the 21st), our internet stopped working and we don't know who to call because we have two companies supposedly providing internet access.

I just received my January 2015 bill. I have landline and

raised the cost of the modem
150%. According to the representative, if you have

you have to use their modem. I live in Kentucky, so I called the public service commission to

a complaint, only to be told that, per the Kentucky legislature, the commission is only allowed to handle complaints related to landlines. The commission was never given authority to handle complaints about internet service, so providers can raise rates anytime and any amount in Kentucky.

We finally made the switch to

after 15 years with Comcast. Everything went perfectly and we are so happy with our service.
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
is the only way to go if it is available in your area. Service runs us about $200.00 per month for all three packages.....Comcast cost the same. Thanks EBP!

We were having unreliable connection with TWC. Couldn't
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
the DNS a lot of time, slow connection speed (even though) we paid for there "Ultimate". My setup in the house is top notch and I can guarantee I had connectivity to TWC systems. After a month "talking" (there has to be intelligence on the other side of line for a conversation" ) and them complaining that it was my perfectly working hardware was at fault. The "discovered that the 3 repeater in my area were all "BAD". It took on tech who had a clue less than a day to fix the issue. Guess what my so-called bad hardware in my house now work fine when there is connectivity to TWC system. I guess you can't get mad at the dog for cleaning his butt in the living room and you shouldn't expect much more out of TWC.

Excellent provider so far. When there was an issue with the connection, I was able to talk to a customer service agent who was able to walk me through the problem.

I've received wireless internet service from ClearWire (also known as CLEAR), for at least 4 years, now, and it's only been down for a matter of hours (never more than 8), maybe 3 times (always from lightning storms). I've only had trouble with speed with a couple of web sites, and only for about 6 months, in all this time. I've always been able to fully enjoy YouTube, so the speed issue was small. A very knowledgeable friend thinks it was "dropped packets from bandwidth crowding, by other services." I'm even able to carry my laptop and the wireless modem to a

's Deli, a half-mile walk from my home, and use the same neighborhood transmitter, for the same high speed service, while I enjoy the salad bar.

The first time they were supposed to show up, they didn't. Someone was to call me back at my sister's to arrange another appointment, they didn't. They called me at home, but I was at my sister's house, as I told them I would be. While I was setting up the installation, I specifically asked if there were any additional charges, aside from taxes and state fees, and was told that the price they gave me, included everything. When the man was installing the service, I brought a modem with me to install, if there was going to be a rental charge on the modem. He checked on his cell phone and told me that the price I was quoted included the modem. Then the bill came (not to my address as originally ordered, but to my sister's) and I was charged an additional $10/month for the modem rental. When I called to ask about this additional charge, the first service person, told me that he would submit an expedited ticket to get this clarified and someone would call me back. He also said he was correcting the billing address as we spoke. They didn't call me back. Hours later, I called
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
back and was told that the expedited ticket was void because the first guy sent it to the wrong department. I asked guy #2 if he could send it to the right department and instead was told that I had to pay the $10 rental every month and that the three people I spoke to when ordering the service and its installation had "misinformed" me. Eventually, he checked my next month's bill and told me that it would be the amount I was originally told it would be and it would be sent to my sister's address. I asked him to change the address to mine and, as we spoke, he allegedly corrected it. I expected that the next bill will be for any amount under the sun and will again be sent to my sister's address.
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
will not be a long-term provider methinks.

Drop and line outside of house had to be completely replaced. The tech
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
was quick, friendly and did a very good job. We had already had about 8 tech's out over the last 7yrs trying to fix the same problem(yes this has been going on this long) every time they say they have fixed it. Then literally a day later it is not working again.
Buchanan Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
just replaced everything on the outside, which he said should of been done the first time a tech was out. We are so thankful, this is the only way we can communicate with our loved ones overseas.
