"The wood seems to be very good and he did do a good job stacking it and everything. They went out of their way actually to make sure I was happy where they placed" it so I would use them again. I think they were very professional, very nice. There was a little snafu that the wood wasn't delivered. I kept waiting for it but in the end, I called and they apologized for the delay. They were very professional and handled it and got out there right away. I would definitely use them again. I think the pricing was reasonable.

"First, the good news.
did an excellent job removing the tree. In fact, once the work was completed, there was no sign that a tree had ever" stood in that location. They removed the
to below ground level, made sure the ground in the area was level, and did a great job of cleaning up. The quality of this work makes the bad news even more of a head scratcher. Now, the bad news. We have two square planters surrounding ash trees in our backyard. We also hired
to repair the brick work on the planters. Many bricks had come off the planters over the years and needed to be re-mortared. The quality of the work performed on the planters is awful. First, the brickwork is uneven. It looks like my 8-year old son did the work. Describing it as slapdash would be giving
too much credit. The only way to describe it is that it is as if the person who didn't just didn't care how it came out. We are very disappointed. Second, to add insult to injury,
left a mess. They did not clean up the excess mortar around the planters; just left it on the grass. Then, several days later, we discovered a pile of excess mortar dumped in the extreme back corner of our yard. We know it wasn't there before and can't think of how else it got there. In sum, while the tree removal was done well, the brick work is a disaster. Simply put,
should be ashamed of themselves for the poor quality of that work. My wife called to let them know what we thought of the (lack of) quality of the brickwork and, of course, was told that someone in management would get back to her. Well, you've probably already guessed … we're still waiting for that call. Excluding tax, the tree removal portion of the cost was $98.75. The brick repair -- if you can even call it that -- cost $446.40. Simply put, we were ripped off. We gave
C grades for price, responsiveness, and punctuality. Quoted prices (for good quality work) were fair, and they showed up on time. But what good is "please" and "thank you" if the work is terrible?

Firewood

Although any wood can be burned, some are better than others for use in home fireplaces. Homeowners who purchase firewood should be sure it is hardwood and that it has been aging at least a year.

First, delivery was supposed to be on Monday, Feb 16th. They called off the delivery so they could do another job regarding snow. Rescheduled for Tuesday at 4:00. Showed up before 4, and before anyone was home; rescheduled for today. Delivered today. Ran into my security gate damaging it; and on top of that, the wood delivered is NOT SEASONED and WILL NOT BURN.
Company misrepresented or at minimum make representations leading me to believe that they were delivering seasoned wood would in fact once you lift the wood, you can easily tell it is not close to dry nor seasoned, IN MY OPINION they knew or should have known just by loading the wood that it was NOT seasoned wood.
In my opinion, they just wanted to make the sale . . . . period. Never again will I order wood from this "vendor".

answered his phone promptly when I called. He is super nice and did everything he said he could do. I had been going to landscape lots to buy wood by the wheelbarrow, and paying $15-$20 per load.
Belleville Firewood Providers Provider Name Locked
brought a pickup truckload, full and heaped up to my house, unloaded and staced it where I wanted it and charged me $150. Once stacked, it is roughly four and a half feet high by a little over 8 feet wide. He brought only the size cut that would fit my fireplace per my request. I estimate that this is about 12 or 15 wheelbarrows worth, so the price was very good, especially considering it was delivered. I highly recommend

I called late in the season for firewood, but they were able to deliver and accommodate. I had to call twice to set up a delivery, after the first call I waited 10 days and they called back when they were able to set up a time. They dumped the wood on my driveway where I specified, I had to pile the wood afterwards in my garage. Next time I would pay extra to have them pile it for me. I'm not an expert, but the wood seems a little wet, making smoke and popping, and I'm burning through it much faster than I expected. We don't use it for heat, just for ambiance in our fireplace. I went with
Belleville Firewood Providers Provider Name Locked
because they were straightforward with their pricing. They had the price listed on their website and it was consistent with what I paid. Everyone else I found wouldn't publish their price and expected you to call.

we've been using them for over five years, and we've been happy with their services. They provide us with clean and dry wood, and they take the time stack it neatly when delivering it to the house which we appreciate.

Great service. Sent inquiry on their website and they called me to arrange delivery. Gave them my payment information over the phone and they delivered while I was at work. Came home and was stacked and covered. This is the second season I used them. Wood burns great, though might be split a little too small. Very expensive compared to other vendors, but you get what you pay for.
