"We received 5 bids for kitchen cabinet refacing and quartz counter tops. We selected TJ
's company for the cabinet work. TJ was very helpful with ideas" and material selection. He removed the old cabinet doors and window & pocket door casings and installed a quality 1/8 inch vaneer and cabinet doors that are manufactured in
,
. We were able to visit the manufacturer to get larger samples before making the final color selection. The door and window casings were made to match the color of the cabinets. We selected the cabinet hardware and he installed the pulls, hinges and soft close mechanisms. He built new drawers and pullouts and they work great and have the soft close feature. TJ is very concientious about the workmanship and is a good communicator. As with any contractor, I recommend working closely to ensure that the small details are done to your liking. He was very willing to make minor adjustments and the overall quality of the job is fantastic. I highly recommend TJ and his company and would definitely use him again.

"
has great product and the installation was perfect, but these guys do not and will not stand by their product. I had picked out my granite and because my order" was more than they had available in my slab, they cut from a different slab and didn't tell me. It was installed while I was out of town and when I saw it upon returning home, I was shocked. It didn't match anything and wasn't what I wanted. They refused to help me out, blamed me for not coming to look at the new slab even though I was not notified there was an issue and then they denied knowing I was trying to match the granite to my travertine tile. These guys could have cared less. It took 3 weeks from my initial complaint to the point they basically said buzz off.

"The countertops look great! Material selection was appropriate for the job and the process easy to manage. Templates were drawn and good discuss occurred to ensure the right outcome." Installation was as scheduled and with little clean up required. We are very pleased with the outcome and the process of getting to the finished counters.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

?

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

I was ready to order until I heard the cost. It was so high that I joined Angie's List to get other recommendations.

I didn't not wind up using the deal as their estimate was too high. They also weren't able to do the complete job, as they could install tile but not grout it, and I would've had to hire a handyman to finish the work.

Excellent. We had water damage from a leaking refrigerator water line. They were able to handle every aspect of the renovation from demolition to the application of an anti-microbial agent to eradicate any possibility of mold to completion of a great new kitchen. Ironwood properties went above and beyond to ensure we received quality material and workmanship.
My wife and I were on vacation during part of the renovation and had complete trust the job would progress and it did. We returned to an almost completely new kitchen with only a few minor details to go. A big surprise upon our return was seeing the new granite counter tops installed, something I thought would take longer, but
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
had them put a rush on it so it would be installed by our return
I highly recommend Ironwood Properties

The process went very well. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and professional. We chose a granite countertop in the showroom, but we were able to visit the "yard" to see the actual slab from which it would be cut. The installers delivered, placed and installed the new countertop. Work was done quickly and job site was cleaned up before departure. Very pleased.

The service was good. The workers were friendly and on time. I think they are too expensive for the product . The tile isn't tile but something else.

This was a nightmare!

is a great salesman, very sincere, convincing and 'down home'. He promised me when they were done, my cabinets would look as smooth as glass and my kitchen would look like new. He also told me I could pay a down payment when the work was completed and pay the rest out over time.

The first day they were here, I wasn't concerned. They took a great deal of time covering countertops, floor, blocking off access to other parts of the house, explaining what they were going to do, etc. It seems like they did paint the ceiling that day, but I don't remember now. It became late in the day and
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
said they would be back the next day to finish. (Initially he said they would finish in one day.)

The next day they did paint the walls and cabinets. Not having any experience with high gloss enamel oil base paint, I had no idea of the fumes that would fill the house. (I think
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
put some sort of additive in the paint as well.) Part of that was due to their not covering a large AC return in the area where they were working. By the time we discovered that, it was too late. The whole house was filled with fumes and because I have COPD, I was having difficulty breathing. Opening the windows did no good. At the end of the day,
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
said they needed to come back to do 'touch up'. There were drips, runs, brush

, wall paint on cabinets, cabinet paint on walls, etc.

Fast forward to day 5.....They continued to clean up, correct mistakes, etc, on days three and four. Some examples of mistakes they made included overspray on the floor and wooden plantation shutters, flaws in cabinet doors, when they moved the refrigerator back in place, they failed to plug it in and once we plugged it in, the water and ice did not work, they failed to reconnect the disposal and on and on and on. I still believed
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was very sincere in making the job right and after all, his company had an 'A' rating on Angie's List. At the end of the day
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
asked if I could make a down payment because he needed to pay his team. I reluctantly wrote him a check for $1500. My gut told me no, but they were so nice and trying so hard.....I did it. After they left, I went over everything with a fine toothed comb. My heart did a flip flop. It was still a mess! I then went to double check the ratings on Angie's List. I had not done that since I had hired them to do the original work. There was F, after F, after F, all recent. I called my husband and told him I was putting a stop payment on the check. He said no, let me talk to
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, I am sure they will make it right. He tried to contact
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and when a day went by with no return call, he told me to go ahead with the stop payment. When my husband and
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
finally talked, he told him we placed a stop payment on the check and he needed to get back to our house pronto to fix everything that was wrong.

Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and his partner came back for day six; they were here all day. Here is how it ended up. We basically paid them $1500 cash to go away. I don't think they would have ever gotten the job right because they ARE NOT capable. We had to pay someone to fix our water and ice maker. We will have to pay someone to refinish the cabinets. We will have to pay someone to fix the crack in the ceiling. We will have to touch up the walls and woodwork. And finally,
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was able to cash my check at PLS Check
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. Once the check was returned to PLS Checking
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for Stop Payment, they call me several times a day and have written a letter stating they are going to
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
me. So all in all,
Wilton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
got his $3000!
