"After years and years of different treatments, ENTs and antibiotics, it took one visit to Dr.
and a small procedure for my sinus issues to" be resolved. Dr.
is very professional and attentive. He made sure I understood why I was having these sinus issues and explained thoroughly how we can fix it. The procedure was easy and as explained. I have had zero sinus issues since then. Highly recommend
ENT.

"I wouldn't recommend
to anyone. His treatment of patients is horrible. I scheduled an appointment with him 30 minutes after his office" opened. He saw me 2 hours later. When I asked him why he was so late, he said it was because I wasn't paying in cash. Note: My insurance covers it. He said if I paid in cash he would see me sooner. What an idiot!

On average, a patient spends less than 15 minutes with his doctor on any given visit. With so little time to address health concerns, it's important to be prepared so you can get the most out of each meeting with your physician.

I had a 3:30pm appointment, and arrived to check-in at 3:10pm. When I arrived, there was only one other patient in the waiting room, however I was not called back to an exam room until 4pm. After a brief visit with a nurse about my current condition, I was left to wait for the doctor, who came into the exam room to see me at 4:45pm. I visited a total of 5 minutes with the doctor, and was on my way. This was my last appointment with this office, simply because treatment is complete; however I would have selected a new office moving forward regardless. Not because the staff isn't knowledgeable and friendly; but because each and every appointment I had with this office, I had a very similar experience. Long waits in the waiting room, and longer waits in the exam room. Dr.

and his staff are really very friendly, but I feel that they could be more conscientious of their patient's time.

I believe that the surgery itself went well. I am still in recovery but expect no problems. The bedside manner left something to be desired, however. In previous encounters with Dr.
Portland Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
for reflux disease I found him to be very personable with a good sense of humor. So I was surprised this time to see a different side of him. Just before the surgery he came briefly into the room and spoke in a very brusk manner -- didn't acknowledge my wife at all. He gave the impression of being in a big hurry. Afterword he didn't even see me though I believe I recovered quickly enough that I could have spoken coherently with him. He did brief my wife about the surgery. We would have preferred that the briefing been given to me or preferably to both of us.
While I am disappointed in this experience with Dr.
Portland Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
and don't expect to continue with him, I have given him a thumbs up because of my prior better experience which was good. This is giving him the benefit of the doubt in a situation involving both positive and negatives feelings. Maybe he was having an atypical bad day.

yet to receive anything from their office but a bill for services that were not provided. I called and placed a complaint with the

Medical Board. However, their office continues to bill us for a visit that they refused us acess to, using Facetime so that I could hear our daughter and the physician's conversation. Our daughter was 14 years old at the time.

My visit: Very nice, pleasant office. Staff smiled and made me feel good. Dr.
Portland Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
, after listening to my complaint numbed my nose and throat and inserted a camera to see into my throat. It was painless and he was reassuring speaking in very calm soothing voice.

The visit went very well and I was happy. That's why I took my daughter to him. Her visit: The office was still nice. However, this time Dr.
Portland Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
came across as arrogant. He said there was no structural reason for my daughter's nose not to breathe, gave her nose spray and said to come back. The nose spray was not effective at all. I still feel there is structural reason for nose passages to close up when my daughter

down. Why I said he was arrogant: When I mentioned to Dr.

that I opted to treat my daughter's allergies in a holistic way (which worked very effectively, the only thing that remained was that the nose passages close down when she

down), he became very high and mighty and in front of my 11 year old said that all that holistic stuff is bogus. "You know it doesn't work, don't you?" Well, I know the opposite. If he felt that way, he should have never voiced it especially in front of an impressionable child. I am going to a different ENT.

I was able to obtain an appointment in a seasonable amount of time. During the first appointment, Dr.
Portland Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
performed an esophageal scope without anesthesia. He explained the procedure fully and was very gentle and swift. Although he did not promote a more intrusive test which would have resulted in a more definitive in diagnosis, I chose to have that test which he later performed with some local sedation. Luckily, my problem was not as severe as I had feared but he gave me some terrific dietary and life style pointers which have proven to be extremely helpful in preventing continued digestive problems. Although he is an ear, nose and throat doctor, his expertise extends into the gastrointestinal area. Excellent doctor.
