"Very clean facility, no smells. Food kind of bland, bedtime & wake up too early for our tastes. Some novice CNA's were not attentive & perfunctory in" their duties, but management very prompt in fixing complaints. Most nurses exemplary & professional, no lack of empathy.

"They were nice enough but tough to deal with. One example: my mother has difficulty swallowing a lot of pills all at once. She was given 5-6 pills each morning." She said to the nurse to please leave the pills and she will take them each one at a time throughout the hour. The nurse refused to do so and marked on her chart that she was non compliant. It's not rocket science. Unfortunately, there are not many rehabilitation providers in our area that accepted her insurance. If necessary, however, we would use this provider in the future. My mother loved the physical therapy staff and they were terrific in getting her to learn to walk again.

Contact person was very pleasant and provided a couple of memory care resources for me to visit in my area. Also send several helpful articles about dementia and care giving. I did not select a facility from list provided.

CNA and basic nursing staff members do attempt to do a good job, but do not take anything of value with you here as items tend to disappear.

the admissions person was absolutely wonderful. She followed up on everything and made sure that my dad was comfortable. The day nurse during the week called me and always updated me on his progress. I visited every day and he was always dressed, food came timely and was good. His PT was

and I can't say a negative word about him. Absolutely wonderful. OT was the same way and even came by at night to check on him. My dad would have stayed in bed all day without the attention they gave him. They were all encouraging. The weekend nurse -

She was always hurried and seemed more interested in her potato chips than any of the patients. This was every night except during the weekend. However, if he needed to go back to rehab or skill nursing I would not hesitate for one minute to take him to

Please reconsider taking a loved one to this facility. If you have other options, don't choose this one. Insect problem, understaffed, poor communication, and failure to provide basic level of care. A family member went unchanged for over 12 hours after repeatedly requesting assistance.

They are outstanding. Their response is very good and excellent facility. The staff is very courteous. They dedicate more care to the folks there than I have seen in other facility. The environment is more conducive to someone for assisted living and it is not so much like a hospital. They feel more like they are in a studio apartment type of thing. They are pretty good to folks.

I would not recommend this hospice to anyone wanting quality care. The first 3 weeks we saw a nurse one time, Only once did anyone ever come and bathe her. We were with them at least a month and a half.
They seldom sent anyone out unless badgered by phone. During our last crisis, we called and called, and all they did was keep telling us give her more meds. Give her more. Not once did anyone come to the house even though there was an on duty person. She finally ended up by ambulance to inpatient as she had, had so little care from them.

Their facility is a little bit dated looking. It is not quite the freshest and brightest place one could imagine. I think they are probably kind of on the border of minimally staffed visits. It always seems like there's a bit of a wait for things when I need help. They just don't have much more than staff that they can barely get by with. Some of the communication between the administration and the people trying to look after the care of their family members is a little bit hard sometimes. It's hard to get in contact with the right people or to get them to respond very quickly to the questions or to things that need to be investigated.
