"Work went very well. Only difficulty was that they fell behind schedule during the summer and came several weeks later than originally scheduled which was not a problem for us. Work" crew arrived on site on time, was neat, and carefully explained what and how they were going to do the work. Definitely recommend for any future work.

"The workers were on time, and cleaned up all the mess, and even fixed a fence that was not really part of the project. In addition the project supervisor was especially good and responsive to our needs and questions

"The company is really busy and my work and schedule made it difficult to fit my small job in. Once A & J were on site they were terrific. They listened and adjusted as work around" my small lot and old home required adjustments. They are very good problem solvers. The job turned out to be easier than they expected and the bill was lowered ~10%. When I can afford it, I would like to work with them again. I see lots of poorly installed walls and I think getting professionals who specialize in this line of work are well worth the money.

Hardscaping reviews in Brunswick

I had wanted concrete poured and then stone tiling on top for a patio approx 20ft by 15 ft. The problem is that the ground slopes away from the house about 15 -18 inches over the 15 foot space. This would have required quite a bit of concrete, dirt backfill, and leveling.
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
could not give me a price for this; he suggested I build a deck which as I stated before is not an option. However, even the price of a deck ($12000) was beyond by $8000 maximum budget, so we parted as friends.
I was able to get my patio, however, for my budgeted price, by using custom pavers and a step-down of about 8 inches approx half-way across the patio, which eliminated most of the backfill issue and concrete pour. The patio looks fantastic.

I thought the crew did and good job and as far as I can tell they did a quality job in a short amount of time. The patio looks good and hopefully will hold up well over time. The crew leader
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was very good to work with and had good design suggestions that were quite helpful. However I was not impressed with the professionalism and communication of the management. He was not do a very good job of explaining things like how the lawn would be affected, that the neighbor's lawn would be affected, how the lawns would be repaired, how and when we would select the paver design and materials. Also he neglected to mention that a gate and section of fence would need to be removed and repaired. Also he did not communicate very well regarding when the job would start and finish. His entire focus seemed to be getting the job and getting paid, and didn't provide much value beyond that. I thought he would stop by and help with material selection before the job started but that was not the case. My father went into the hospital before the job completion, and due to that combined being surprised at how soon the job was completed, I had not transferred the funds needed to pay for the job from an online account to my local checking account. The management would not hear giving me so much as an extra day to do the walkthrough and to pay the bill, even though I was dealing with my father being in the hospital an hour away. He offered a discount for paying with cash, which I wanted to do, but he didn't want to take cash the day after the job completion even if I would bring it to him (I had to wait for the money transfer to complete to withdraw the cash). Also, he wrote harassing emails to me (e.g. "You've had since xxxx to get your funds together"). Overall it just seemed like a really bad way to communicate with a customer. I wish I had looked at the BBB reviews before hiring this company. I did look on BBB and saw they had an A+ rating, however I didn't realize a the time you could see the details of the complaints.

and his guys were absolutely outstanding. Having worked with many, many contractors for all types of home remodeling projects, I can say that he is a rare perfectionist in an industry where many are focused mostly on simply getting "in and out" and paid as quickly as possible. He was also exceptionally professional in his approach, courteous and thoughtful. We particularly appreciated his honest approach when we ran into supplier issues regarding some of the materials. His pricing was fair (and one of the lower bids we got), and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding, along with all the unexpected finishing touches, such as patching up the lawn in areas where it was damaged during the patio work, perfectly re-leveling our backyard, and much more. Highly recommended.

We found
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
, and
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
, on Angie's List. His "A" ratings proved true! We made an appointment with
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
to get an estimate for: (1) a retaining wall on the north side of our property, which had experienced significant erosion over the past decade; (2) a flagstone patio in the front of our home that would replace the existing standard concrete sidewalk and porch; (3) a stone flower bed, of undetermined design and size, in the front yard; (3) a matching stone border to wrap around existing shrubs near the front of the house; and (4) a similar flagstone patio in the corner of the backyard that would incorporate three mature crape myrtles. Our basic thought is that hiring a contractor to do work on your home is always a bit of a

of faith, even one recommended on Angie's List; but listening to
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
speak about his trade, in terms of our project, made us feel that he was experienced, knowledgeable, and had that "creative

" that is not necessarily common among contractors. The day of our appointment,
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was 10 minutes early. He listened to what we wanted, took measurements, and offered suggestions where we were unsure. We were going to approach this project in two phases because of the need for fill dirt once a retaining wall was complete; and the back of the property needed fill dirt, and leveling, before the back patio could be installed. We offered to tear out the existing concrete porch and sidewalk to save costs. We were afraid we might have taken on too much for our budget and would have to forego the back corner patio. He gave us our estimate by that Sunday, August 10, as agreed. We were very happy with the price and would be able to do all of it! My husband spent the next weekend (August 16-17) tearing out the old concrete at our front door and the sidewalk leading to the driveway (with the aid of a

was able to send a crew the morning of August 19th, which began the 65 foot retaining wall and the Oklahoma flagstone front porch and sidewalk. They were done in TWO days. His crew was incredible. They worked like a machine. We were in awe at the finished product and difference it made in the appearance of our property. We would walk outside in the evenings and just stare at it. Next came the dirt work and the removal of the existing grass by a landscaper. Once that was complete, we notified
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and he came back to our home to map out the 60 foot flower bed and shrub border. We were open to the design as long as there were no corners or straight edges. I wanted something with movement and not a "box." With a can of spray paint and a tape measure, he designed an irregular, figure-8 shape that encircled a large oak tree in the front yard. Next, he

also suggested that we ring the crape myrtles, in the back yard, to protect them from the fill dirt and flagstone. We purchased sandstone bricks from Home Depot and ringed each tree approximately 3-4 ft. in radius from the

I had Systems Pavers come out to give me a bid.
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
spent quite a bit of time with me and then took the time to measure then I never heard from them again. I even called and email but no response. I don't understand why they would waste their time and mine.

Their work was great. I chose them because they used a project planner to coordinate the overall job, which included their work and a landscapers. My home is in a
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and has no backyard access and is on a hill. They had to go through my house and replace the wooden decking with 8 yards of dirt, then the pavers. Once it was scheduled, their work was done in 6 days as projected. The salesman,
Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
, worked with me to do my own backyard design. And the project manager, Will Sullivan was excellent, despite him managing 3 -6 other projects simultaneously. And the construction team and leader was hard working and focused. There were only 2 problems: 1) at the beginning I spoke with the project coordinator at the home office who did not know anything accurately about the proposed project and signed contract. He was so out of touch, I ended up hanging up on him and dealing with ultimately with the Salesman and the project manager they assigned. 2) The 2nd problem ended up being the landscaper they referred me --

Brunswick Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
. He started out great but ended out being unreliable. Both SP and me were very disappointed. Regardless of that, I still feel very strongly about how great SP is , the work quality, the professionalism, their willingness to work with you, make modifications as needed, the products I chose and the project manager concept. I would recommend them to anyone and still give them an A PLUS. And I LOVE my new backyard -- one of my favorite places to spend some of the day.

The whole job went flawless. The crew arrived on time. When clearing the site they actually hand dug, due to sprinkler system and newly installed electric for lights. When we noticed that the paver patio was going to be lower than my neighbors yard, they installed a mini retaining wall (without extra charge). Though a small job, they were efficient and clean-up total area.
I am so pleased with the patio, that sometimes I just peek out my window and look at it- because it is so beautiful
