and his crew left the pool and pool area super clean. I am very happy with the work done by PPTC.

"
cares for our pool in New Tampa. He helped it get it going initially by applying a shock treatment (it had gone a few weeks without chemicals" and had gotten an algae bloom before we moved in). He has also helped us repair a leaky pump and done a super surface clean.

My order of preference - first choice a jacuzzi/hot tub repairman (from a jacuzzi/hot tub/sauna distributor), second choice a plumber (many do not work on hot tubs, jacuzzi's and sauna because they cnanot afford to stock parts). An electrician might be able to fix it if it is a connection problem, but such motors are seldom repaired if the problem is internal, just replaced - which would be a jacuzzi repairman/plumber type job.
?

You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.

BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

I'm sorry to say there aren't many of us on here with adequate experience working on pools, myself included.  My suggestion would be to contact a few local companies specializing in pool renovation and have them give their recommendations and bids for the work, breaking down order of operations so you know what to expect at which stages.  Check Angie's List for referrals in your area and cross check those with the BBB for any unresolved complaints.

In
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
of 2014 I contacted
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
(at the time located in
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
,
TX) remodel devision and spoke to
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
: Director of Landscape and Pool
Remodeling.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
visited our home and listened to our vision and weeks later
brought back a design and proposal. After negotiations and adjustments to the
design we made a decision to proceed not with a remodel but with a complete
demo of our existing pool followed by a new pool and an extensive outdoor
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.

After
deciding to move forward we made it clear to
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
that it was imperative
to us that we chose a company that was able to do both projects. Demo our
existing pool and rebuild a new one as well as build a 30x30 (900sq ft)
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked

with full bathroom, outdoor kitchen and fireplace to name a few. We
wanted the space to be cohesive and felt that using one company we could
achieve that.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
assured us they could do it all! We held off on
starting the project immediately for two reasons; 1. We wanted to finish out
the remainder of the summer in our existing pool and 2. We wanted assurance
from PPAS and approval provided to them from the city of
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. We were not going to proceed unless the full project was
coordinated.

Initially
we wanted to do the pool first and then start the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. However, as the weeks
turned into months we became very worried that PPAS had no intentions on doing
the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and didn't feel they made any attempt to get permits on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.
Early December 2014 after several attempts by PPAS to start our pool we had
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Ribnikar over to discuss our hesitation. We asked him what the
status was on the city approval on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and he claimed he knew nothing
about the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
but would look into it. We made it clear to him nothing was
happening unless we got approval and seen plans on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.

We
were then contacted by
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
stating that the city wanted us to attach the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
to our home due to the size. I expressed to
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
why 5 months after
signing we were just finding this out. My wife and I felt at this point that no
attempts had been made and that they were only trying to start and finish the
pool leaving us with no
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. However, we decided to oblige and approved a
breezeway connecting the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
to the home.

Demo
on our existing pool begin the first week of January 2015 and we discussed
changes to the required breezeway roof and decided on no changes due to cost
and aesthetics. We waited three months now April for anything to happen on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and was requested by
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
to pay a large payment of $30k+ for the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
which we denied due to lack of work. After waiting another two months
now may I got frustrated and walked into their office in Plano to find
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked

Ribnikar.

At
this point I was upset and asked
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Ribnikar why my backyard has been left
like boneyard for now two months since work begin on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked

asked me to allow him to attend a meeting so he could get updated on my
projects. I asked him why he didn't know already and he had no response.
He consistently tried to point blame on his project manager assigned to
my project,
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Rybar. I also pointed out to him that when I met with
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
in
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
2014 and himself later that same year neither of them
mentioned that they were not
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and were actually just
paying to use the name. They were actually
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Pools, Inc. He also had no
response.

After
me walking into the store work begin rapidly but with several, several
mistakes. Footings were poured incorrectly, framing for the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
breezeway
roof went into the side of my home rather than attach to my home's roof,
pluming for the restroom failed several inspections and no grading for the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was ever done leaving large footings exposed.

In
addition once the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was framed the city failed inspection and the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked

sat and no work took place on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
for almost 4 weeks. When I contacted
the city of
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
I was told PPAS never submitted plans and were working off
drafts. This required the city to put a hold on the
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
work.

Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked

removed
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Rybar from my project and assigned
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
has been the only
positive thing about the project to be honest however, his involvement does not
make up for the poor service, bad experience and false advertisement. It has
now almost been 8 months since the project begin and over 1 year since we met
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and we are no where near done.

We
consistently get calls unreturned, no emails answered by
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Ribnikar (an
owner I add).

Reasons
not to use;
They
are not
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. They are
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Pools Inc which we were not aware of until several months after signing a contract and work begin.
Premier
pools and spas is a licensing company not a pool company
They
have no respect for your home or property
You

Results
you do get are not within reasonable time lines even in the worst situations
They

They

Designs

As of this review it has almost 9 months since work begin and we are still not done and cannot answers to

Excellent. Good price, very professional. the main person on the job was
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and he was excellent. He walked me through the whole process and went above and beyond with his service. I had an issue after the initial install but they scheduled an appointment, came back and completely rectified the issue. Very refreshing not to have to hound them to get the job done properly even after payment was complete. I would definitely trust them, recommend them, and use them myself in the future

At every turn,
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
regurgitates one BS excuse after another. From "The fan was turning and the heater was working when I left your house", to "A part went missing. It must have been your previous disgruntled pool guy. In any case, you'll need to pay for the cost of that part."
We also had another pool guy come in to assess the work that
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
did and our suspicions were reaffirmed that work was done poorly and sloppily.
I would also like to emphasize the casual and unprofessional nature of this kid. He brought in at least 20 different people over the course of the project to install 1 heat pump. That means 20+ of his boys getting a look at the layout and backways of our property. On a few occasions he even brought over his girlfriend and some of his friends to have lunch at our poolside.
We ended up not paying for the defective heater he installed, but he DID charge us an absurd $7000 for the shoddy "plumbing" work he did. He showed up at our place of business and caused a scene when we disputed the charges.
Beware of this kid.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
will sweet talk you and tell you about the amazing discounts he's hooking you up with (after the massive
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
-ups), but in the end you'll be getting screwed over. Please DO NOT let this kid screw you over too!

Pros - Everyone we have worked with was very friendly.
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
who does our weekly pool maintenance is amazing and I will be honest if it was not for him I would probably not continue my service. I cannot say enough good things about him, he spends time with us on each visit and answers our questions about the pool, the chemicals (previous owner left us a box full), he took the ones that were expired for us to dispose of properly saving us a trip to the dump. He has been slowing adding chemicals to help with the staining on the plaster and we are starting to see results after only a few weeks which is great!! He is the only reason I am not giving them C and D ratings.
Billing for regular service on our plan is smooth and they charge right to our credit card.
Cons -
The person who did our pool inspection was average there was a surprising number of things he did not know about the pool that
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
helped us with, like the hot tub had jets that we could turn on, the pool inspector could not find them and determined it did not have this feature. The inspector also could not figure out how to turn on the pool lights (again
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
did!) and determined that they were not operational.
The first weekly service person who came seemed to know nothing about the pool. We had been out and when we pulled up he was in his truck getting ready to pull away. He stopped and came out when we pulled and we started asking him questions about the pool operation. When we entered the back the polaris vacuum was shut off and he had left the hose running and had been about to leave if we had not pulled up!!! He did replace the bag on our polaris vacuum he spent the next 45 minutes on the phone trying to figure out. He could not answer any of our questions about the different
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.
Billing for non-standard service is a nightmare. On our first visit we had a new bag put on for the polaris vacuum. I am still getting billed incorrectly for it after over a month and multiple emails and phone calls to their AP department. I have been told on multiple occasions it was resolved and yet I still keep getting the bill.

There aren't enough words to tell you how happy I've been with
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
's service. They diagnosed the problems and had some of the parts on-hand for the repair. We were in the middle of selling our house and the DIY leak fix decided to come "un-done" on closing day! I called
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was able to come out and fix the problem the same day. They also didn't charge me the initial visit fee for this last minute emergency.
If you have a spa, there's no other company you should be doing business with. I wish I had found them sooner. We would have enjoyed our tub a lot more.

arrived right at 9am. He quickly found the leak, explained what he needed to do and the cost. He was out by 10! I am so glad I found this company to service my spa. He gave me recommendation on what to use in the spa to avoid the gaskets breakdown. Gone are the days of waiting around all day for service then getting ripped off my service company's. I have not had that experience with any company I found on Angie's list. Thank you A&G

I regret the day I contracted SparklingKleen to refinish my pool. This contractor, based on my experience, is totally unprofessional -- in its workmanship, the materials it uses, and in its ability to be trusted.
In 2012, I contracted SparklingKleen to replaster my pool using a finish called Stonescapes. Less than three years later, the plaster -- which supposedly carried a "life-time" warranty -- began cracking around the steps and beneath the glass blocks serving as a spillway from my spa. It was clear to me that either the Stonescapes plaster was inferior or that
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
applied it incorrectly. Neither company accepted responsibility. I paid SparklingKleen to repair the cracks, however, the company applied a color that did not match the blance of the plaster in the pool. The result was a two-toned pool. SparklingKleen and Stonescapes denied all responsibility, claiming that the new plaster color was correct. They asserted that the remaining undamaged part of my pool -- about 80% of it -- changed color due to chemical influences, even though there were no signs of uneven discoloration. They were also quick to point the finger of blame at my pool heater and my previous pool service.
For more than five months, SparklingKleen performed numerous on-and-off again treatments, including acid-washing, in an attempt to prove themselves correct. I allowed the testing to go on for a protracted period because SparklingKleen owner
Brewer Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Yohann promised in April 2015 that, if the testing failed, his company would refinish my entire pool and spa at its expense. However, when the testing was completed in August 2015, Yohann reneged on his promise, telling me his company would only pay half of the $4000 cost to refinish. He conveniently omited the fact that his promise in April was predicated on his company being reimbursed by plaster manufacturer.
All during the testing period, neither SparklingKleen nor Stonescapes would discuss their processes or results, unless I pressed them for information. Given the behavior of the companies during the 5-month process, it came as no surprise that the manufacturer refused to honor its warranty and that SparklingKleen -- further demonstrating that it could not be trusted -- sided with the manufacturer to avoid liability and expense.
Going forward, I will continue to share experiences of my relationship with SparklingKleen. Furthermore, my two-toned pool now serves as a showcase for the inferior work the company performs. I would be hard-pressed to recommend SparklingKleen as a contractor, hoping to spare other pool owners the same degrees of aggravation, disappointment and expense that I experienced.
