Haven't decided that it was time to bring new life into a family home that had been a bit neglected I found myself in need of a contractor. The house itself is structural sound and with some work could really be something to enjoy. I reached out in the past and have found that now a days most want to
get in and get out without much regard for the finished project. I say this as a result of having tried several to do smaller portions of the work needed only to be disappointed with the finish job. One main high-up I have with any job is that the joints should be cut with enough precision to come together smoothly with minimal chalking needed. Some in the past would get close I suppose but when I would call out areas I just couldn't live with I would be told things like "Well you know - it’s not a piano"!! To me that is just unacceptable when money is being exchanged for services rendered by what are expected to be professionals - heck if I wanted what I could do, I would just do it myself :). With all that said I finally came across a job being completed by
& Construction owned/operated by Mr.
close to my house. I watched as this major remodel progressed up to and including the end of the job and was very pleased with what I saw occurring. As a result I called Mr.
and scheduled an appointment to discuss my overall thoughts on what I wanted to complete at my house. Mr.
was prompt to the scheduled meeting and patiently walked thru and around my entire home listening to my visions on grandeur of what I wanted to do. After having completed this daunting task of what must have seen like I should just bulldoze the house and build new Mr.
suggested let’s get started on the outside and ensure we seal it up then move inside. We decided to paint the outside first replacing/repairing any wood that was needed. Now this was not just a
paint job as it hadn't been painted in many many years and required quite a bit of extra prep work just to begin. It was advised that the job should take approximately 8 - 10 days to complete and a scheduled start date was established. Without fail Mr.
and his team arrived as expected - Work began and was moving along well each day. I was very pleased as I watched the progress and renewed beauty coming together. As luck would have it at a certain point within the prep process an infestation of termites was located. The damage was extensive and ran thru many of the support headers holding up a large carport area and connected patio space. This in spite of having a termite bond with annual inspections/treatment however did not provide coverage for
Termites - but that's another story for another day... Mr.
and his team did not miss a beat and immediately began to uncover and expose the damaged areas along with building/providing temporary support for the roof areas effect. Mr.
was very supportive and cooperative during this time as he would be needed to work with the pest control company to properly address the issues. Obviously the job expanded as did the timeline for completion. Mr.
continuously advised that his team would be there until it was finished regardless of his work load and other commitments he had - as it turned out the job ended up being almost 8 weeks long. I watched as all of the bad headers were removed and replaced paying special attention to the craftsmanship and was pleased with the attention to detail to do the job right and not cut corners in spite of the delay. As the job came to a close I was very pleased with the final product and Mr.
’s insistence that I call out anything I thought was not up to standards of which were possible only 3 things that he address right away. The only call out I would/could provide is, and only say this so that you may know going in, that the original quote was a bit on the higher end however I knew that the work required more attention than normal as a result of the years not maintained and felt comfortable that the quality of the craftsmanship would be at a professional level one would expect from a true PROFESSIONAL. Needless to say the unexpected increase in cost as a result of termite damage will delay the next step in this make-over however once that time arrives I will be calling Mr.
and his team once again as I know I can depend on them to do whatever it takes to get the job done right!!

We are very pleased with the work of
and will definitely call them back for our next project.
and his team did an excellent job, were on time every day and kept a clean work place. All their hard work resulted in a beautiful Red Mahogany
and groove ceiling on our Lanai and front porch. They also installed new ceiling fans and did some tile and Sheetrock work in my family room. Could not have had a more positive experience.

Our insurance company got us in touch with
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
after our plumbing broke. They came and assessed the damage to provide insurer with the cost and while they did that we got an estimate to replace the plumbing and to fix an electrical issue from a previous contractor who did not perform the work to code. They started the work within a few days of the agreed upon start and kept to their word of getting the job done in a week. All of the work looks really good and after it was painted looks as good as new. The few items they missed were quickly taken care of to our satisfaction. The crew was very professional and they did a good job of keeping the house neat considering the amount of drywall they had to remove to perform the re-plumb. We wouldn't hesitate to call them for any future work and highly recommend them.

It went very well.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
completed the work efficiently and met all of our expectations. He was even able to line up the majority of the intense demo work with our summer vacation which helped immensely with the challenges of living in a "construction zone" with two small kids. He was easy to work with and communicated well, as were all his subs. We would definitely recommend him to anyone, and would use him again ourselves for any future work we may have.

Where do I start? First off.....if you want someone who is extremely NEAT, punctual, and courteous, you wont find anyone like this man.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is from NY and has been in nearly all facets of the renovation business for over a decade. I was fortunate enough to meet
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
because I was looking for some furniture for my home and a friend recommended I contact
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. When I saw his hand crafted furniture, I was like holy crap! What else can this guy do?? Then he tells me does all sorts of house renovations. Well, I had just purchased a Frame house in the South grove and I had been renovating it for over 8 months. I rarely let anyone do work in my home because most contractors and subs are a mess and, at best, cannot do quality work. Not to my standards being I have two family members back in NY who are builders. The best contractors in Miami charge
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
fees (and give you a Miami Dolphins effort, you know what I mean). We all know the wealth that exists in Miami like many cities. I want high quality work at a fair price. I don't need an organization with 7 layers of executive staff that hires the same subs everyone else does. These subs don't give a crap about you. They just want to finish and get out of your house and hope the GC doesn't stiff them. Getting ripped off in Miami? That's not common, eh?? Getting to the point: After two days at my house, I nicknamed
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
"
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
". Everything he does has to be perfect. And let me tell you, I am as demanding as they come and he out did me, so I can't imagine anyone on this planet not being thrilled with his craftsmanship. That's if you can appreciate precision work. And you know what I mean......after your last renovation, can you remember asking your contractor why certain things aren't as you would like? Only to have him tell you "well, the wall was crooked, the floor wasn't level, there was a beam in the way..." All that nonsense because people love the easy way out. They make excuses, blaming it on something else, because you have no idea whether what the contractor is saying is really fact or not.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came into my house and sistered all the wall beams in the bathroom to make them level. He ripped up the floor, sistered and cross supported the floor joists to level. I had already had my kitchen renovated a few months back and no one even considered straightening walls then.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
said the walls have to be straight in the bathroom or the tiles wont line up properly. I think we have all experienced a crappy bathroom tile job in our days or at least have seen our neighbors' results! LOL!!!!. Anyhow, I'm so thrilled with
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I was a bit hesitant to write such a review while I still need so much more work done in my house! Because once others find this
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
gem, I know I'll be on a waiting list to get him back. It just doesn't get any better.........
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Still have another bathroom renovation and fire place reface. Ill report back on those.

Crest remodeled my kitchen from complete tear down to new everything. A year later, I added a sunroom and outdoor kitchen in the adjacent area.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, the owner, is honest, very experienced, and a joy to work with. I have known him for many years, and his company has done many other projects for me such as a deck and kitchen at a rental property I own. I highly recommend him. At one point, I wanted him to remodel my bathrooms, but he was already booked at the time. I hired another contractor, because I wanted to proceed as quickly as possible. What a mistake! I wish I would have just waited until he was available, because the other contractor was a nightmare. Two thumbs up for Crest!

and his crew were very professional throughout the course of the job. We appreciated that he was very open with us in the process of deciding what we wanted our new bathrooms to look like and was a real partner in helping us figure out what would work and what would not.
We did experience a couple of problems over the course of the remodel, but I think
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
does a nice job of either explaining what's happening or taking immediate action to resolve the problem. A couple of our materials got delayed in shipping and
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was good about communicating that to us and what it might mean for our project timelines. Epic generally outsources plumbing work to a subcontractor (but never uses subs otherwise). In our home the plumber didn't properly cap a pipe, causing a leak in the floor between our bathroom and kitchen below.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
' crew was at our home immediately to resolve the problem - they redid a portion of our kitchen ceiling and repainted the entire thing within 24 hours, no questions asked.
And most importantly, we are very happy with the quality of the work done in the bathrooms. They look great and everything that's been installed works well. This is a company that takes real pride in doing the job well and they have personable employees who are easy to welcome into your home. When we had questions about various things in the house over the course of the project,
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his employees were unfailingly patient and helpful in discussing them and talking about our options.
Overall, this is a really good contractor to work with and I would have no hesitation hiring them again for future work.

has provided us with excellent advice on several projects for our home. He also helped our daughter deal with an emergency problem at our house with a leak when we were gone. He has set up several referrals with service providers such as plumbers, and he has not billed us for his time or services. We will be contracting with

Horrible ! This job started in the first week of April 2014 and it is still a work in progress. Mr.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
shows up when he feels like working. His helper, his grandson was his extra work crew. I am so disappointed with the shoddy work he has yet to finish . The present date is August 13,2014. Still looks like it will be days to a week before this job will be finished. Unfortunately , he asked and received 60%of cost from the very beginning. I admit I did not have any experience of choosing a general contractor and relied on another person advice about this contractor. I do know that every body who claims they love The Lord is not a reason to select some one to work on your house . Mr.
Wheaton Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was very convincing about his abilities to do a good job.

I joined Angie's list and hope that if any body ever needed a contractor they would see and read my review. I have had to be firm with this contractor and would not recommend him to anybody for any work or repair. I let him know just today that I wanted his job site clean and I needed him to finish his job. I have had to clean up after this contractor!

My closet finish date was august 18, 2014.

provided professional service, was on time with project and within budget. He was willing to work with the problems encountered and found solutions. He also returned phone calls and was very involved with his men on the job. I highly recommend his work.
