John is what is known as a finish carpenter, who cares about the details and uses ‘old world’ techniques to create quality work. There are many ‘home improvement’ contractors to choose from, but what makes John’s work unique is not only his attention to detail, but his ability to evaluate the job for the most economical yet excellent finished product. John likes to say that he will do any job, no matter how small and he is happy to give free estimates. He is your carpentry specialist for every conceivable type of home improvement. His specialties include complete kitchen and bath renovations, basement club ins, cabinetry, floors of all types (wood, tile, linoleum), stone fireplaces, landscape stone walls, brickwork, windows, doors, painting, wallpapering…you name it. Another talent John has is landscaping and gardens. He can build arbors, fences, gates, stone and brick pathways, terraced gardens, vegetable gardens, and maintenance free flower beds.
