Corey Powers is a master cabinetmaker with a furniture repair and restoration studio in Silver Spring, Maryland. Since 1979, Corey has built a reputation for honest, quality work. Corey learned his craft during three years of specialized schooling and seven years of apprenticeship with a master cabinetmaker. He has studied period furniture styles, and has mastered the tools and techniques of the 18th century cabinetmaker. He has the requisite skills and knowledge to restore antique and fine furniture properly. All employees at American Hardwoods, Inc. are skilled furniture craftsmen and furniture makers, with at least five years of experience. Our craftsmen are skilled in all aspects of fine furniture design, construction, repair, and refinishing. Our craftsmanship, and attention to detail have earned us the respect of both new clientele and repeat patrons. Nearly all of our work is completed in the studio. At times, a selected sub-contractor may be utilized a particular part of a job. We offer free estimates, free pick-up and delivery. Our work is fully guaranteed.
