"
Body Shop was great. We can't say enough good things about our experience. They did a lot of work direct with the other drivers insurance" company so we wouldn't have to. They found some things that were damaged that couldn't be seen until the back bumper was removed. They made sure everything was fixed to our satisfaction. They detailed the car when they were done as well. They updated us on a regular basis as to what was going on and how long the repairs were going to take. I highly recommend
's if you have auto body work that needs to be done on your vehicle.

"
called to schedule the drop off date and the week before we confirmed drop off day and time. The Monday morning I dropped off my car someone" from the rental car place was there to pick me up. On Wednesday,
called to let me know how the repairs were going. It was ready for pick up on Friday. I dropped of the rental at
, pick up my car keys and drove off in my beautifully fixed car. I was happy with the repairs and how professional
was through the process; very little hassle with great results.

You could have paid a little more per month and gotten a lower deductible policy. The deductible is the amount you agreed to. To "get out of it" it is breaking the law. You probably thought, like we all do, that nothing will happen to me, so I'll get the cheapest per month. I think that's what most people do, so you're not alone there.

See if you can make  a deal with the repair company; they may let you pay a little per month. The repair shop may be your best best bet in getting some sort of "deal". Nothing illegal, of course.....

Next time though, think about paying a little more per month for a little more ins. (One-day less fast food lunch, or movie night, or smart phone, etc) and you can reduce your deductible quite a bit.

Hope that last paragraph doesn't sound too judgemental, it's what I'd tell my son or daughter. (Before they bought the crap insurance in the first place, if they'd only ask, right?)
Too late now though, just live and learn.

While the Allstate claim was to replace the door, this body shop kept my car for two weeks and did not call to keep me "in the loop." I always had to call them regarding the progress of the work being done.
On at
Pocomoke City Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
two occassions, I called to ask them to check under the car, as I had hear a noise like something dragging. Allstate assurred me they would cover the extended cost. When I went to pick up the car, I inquired about the noise under the car. I was told there was a "piece of wood" I must have picked up, and it had been removed. Three minutes on the highway, the noise was back. I returned to the provider and showed them what was happening (yes, it took me THREE minutes to find). The manager involved took off in my car and said he would take care of it. No one could find him for a while; however, when he returned, the problem was still very visible. I was told the insurance had not included it in the original claim.
The day before I had a three-way conversation with Allstate, the provider, and myself. Again I asked about the noise. The Allstate provider any I were treated rudely and I the conversation ended with both of us not knowing what to expect next.
Again, they had my car for two weeks. They never called until the day it was to be picked up. The lied about a fax sent to Allstate. And they did not check on a problem I had inquired about three times.
They were rude, slow, and did not return phone messages.
I encourage anyone who DOES choose to use their service to stay on top of them every day and to make sure your insurance company maintains communication on an ongoing basis. I will never return to them and will spread my experience to others.
Raised voices on their part only added fuel to the fire.

Work was spectacular, detailed the car. etc.
However, HIGHLY disappointed in interactions. First time written estimate was ~ $500 and then somehow was $200 more when I brought car in on appointed day. I was given some story about paint colors etc.
Second time I brought car, was given verbal estimate by

(co-owner) for $300 and when I came back I was told it would be $700 and he told me I must have "misunderstood". No misunderstanding. I'm not particularly price sensitive but hate being told it's one thing and more when I bring it back to have the work done. Never going back. Not professional.

These were higly skilled eastern European craftsman, and real perfectionists. As a surgeon, I was fascinated by their techniques. They used lots of medieval looking instruments to both pull out hail dents as well as gently push them out from the inside, depending on the location of the
Pocomoke City Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
. They came within 2 hours of a phone call to look at the car, and after agreeing to a cash price, they remained until 10:30PM to complete the work. The car is essentially perfect, even though they said they 'could only get it to 95%'. I was totally impressed by their expertise. I wanted to go to sleep, but these guys would not stop until the job was perfect!

We got multiple estimates. Their price was competitive, but also they were the only shop that was helpful in understanding which parts were functionally important vs. minor cosmetic issues, helping us trade off exactly which work to go ahead with. They made less money short term, but made us much more likely to go back (and recommend them).
