Sample Internists Reviews

"She has been our Physician for many years. She always takes the time to listen to me and to explain everything. I had a problem and after many tests (which turned out negative) she was able to figure out what was going on and help me. I always recommend her and the Office to friends. The Office staff is very helpful and friendly. Electra (Dr. Vatev's nurse) is especially helpful and caring. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how caring Dr. Vatev is."
"The experience was terrible I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and signed in. then had to wait the typical half hour or so to be let in. Then came more waiting. All unfortunately typical but unrelated to my complaint. Finally,

came into the exam room and proceeded to do the checks and was actually very informative of questions I had. After a few he went on to explain the final check he had to do a check for hernias. This was the first I've heard of this.. I was surprised and a little apprehensive and naturally nervous about giving a stranger access to my genitals. I understand It's his job, but his reaction was really weird to my hesitation. He said something along the lines of "well if you want to fly reschedule". in a extremely condescending

and proceeded to dart toward the door before I could finish asking if it was really necessary. I tried to stop him and get him to come back in the room so we could get it over with and he suggested submitting it without doing the test. I asked him if that would work and explained I didn't want to risk it not going through? He said "we can try". Unsatisfied with that i asked again.

that he was trying to blow me off. He walked away and i couldn't get to him to clarify what had just happened he even walked by me when i was paying my bill and refused to acknowledge me. Needless to say this whole experience made me feel very bad. Anyone as insensitive and as rude as this has no place in medicine. It's been three weeks now and i have yet to hear anything from the faa. I have doubts if he even submitted it I can't solo because of this jerk now. I tried a week ago to get a hold of him to ask him the status and after trying to get through to him for a week once he finally called me back the conversation (20 seconds if that) on the phone was more of the same. He has a real talent for making you feel like crap. He actually hung up on me as i briefly paused in shock over how rude and condescending he had been the first fifteen seconds of the conversation. I gather he is very nice to those he chooses to be as he seemed to be when first we met. I have no idea why he chose to act this way to me but it has caused a major disruption in my flight training and i now have to take off work again and find another doctor to perform the exam not to mention the 100.00 they charged me for this lovely experience.
"I selected Dr.
North East Internists Provider Name Locked
to be my new PCP and to perform an annual physical. I was impressed by his video where he said he was looking to create long-term relationships with his patients, something that was attractive to me. Dr.

asked me several times if I had any questions and performed the physical. He offered to refill any medications I was currently taking, and I asked him for a couple of referrals I needed to specialists. I liked how he did not order me to go to a specific specialist, he gave me a few names and encouraged me to research them on-line and find one I was comfortable with. Overall a good start to my relationship with Dr.

"My appointment went very well. Dr. Marsa asked me to explain what I was there for and then discussed various possibilities for the complaint I had. He listened, asked questions and then gave his medical opinion. An EGD was recommended by him and his staff set the appt. up. Dr. Marsa and his staff come very highly recommended by me."
"I have had her for 10 years. She is wonderful, careful, and

the best. There is a nurse practioner as we'll , so you can get seen for minor issues if Dr b isn't available? Well run clinic."
"Took my husband to the

last week. It was the first time I've been in the clinic since they remodeled the whole building and put in a parking garage. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The whole process went very smoothly. There was a long line at the check in counter when we got there and we still got up to our turn in 5 or 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The check in procedure at each doctor's location rather than at the front entrance like it used to be goes much smoother than the way it used to. Am only giving it a B instead of an A because haven't seen how well the billing and after care goes, but so far, I'm impressed."

is new to us, we are pleased with him as a Primary care Dr. he took time to ask questions, review history and listened to us and made positive changes in the care plan. He is nice but not excessively personable, but that's ok! Down to business is how I would describe him best and he does his business well."
"Dr was prepared and had my hard records in hand and computer records on his laptop. Listened to my concerns and responded. Staff was friendly and courteous. Dr had pleasant and accommodating manner."

can do it all. They have phlebotomists on staff, so you don't have to drive elsewhere for blood work. You can get your labs done same time as your visit. Office hours and locations are very convenient. The nurse practitioners are excellent, especially

Landry who took the time to thoroughly listen, research, order tests and figure out what was wrong. They provide many services -- can do EKG, EMG, bone density scan, nutritionist on staff (met with her , she was excellent), etc. etc. I can no longer go to Emerald because my insurance changed and they do not take my plan. It would be nice if they took Commonwealth Care. The only other complaint is that their electronic medical records are not linked in with the Cape Cod Healthcare medical records (online with the hospital) so if you end with a specialist on the CCH system, fax or bring your records and copy of blood labs.
"I have been to this office three times now. I have not gotten to see Dr.
North East Internists Provider Name Locked
, which does not make me happy, but seems to the "norm" in this area! I saw
North East Internists Provider Name Locked
, the Nurse Practioner. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and listened to all my concerns. She was very thorough in checking into my past medical history and doing follow-up bloodwork appropriately. I don't like the long wait to get in, so that is a con. I have had to wait about 45 minutes or so both times. The 3rd time was just bloodwork, and it was about 15 min. They have an in-house lab, which is convenient, and the ladies that draw blood are WONDERFUL. Very skilled at it, and they are so nice, they keep you laughing while they do it. Overall, I like this office, just wondering if I'll actually get to see the DOCTOR if I am really sick!"
