did all aspects of our home bathroom remodel (tiling, shower, sink and mirror installation and painting) and we are delighted with the result. He also assembled an outdoor shed at our rental property and hauled away yard debris. What particularly impressed us was that if he missed a detail (and who doesn't?), all we needed to do was point that out to him, and he immediately and cheerfully remedied the situation to our complete satisfaction.
really aims to please!

I obtained bids for four A rated angie's list contractors and chose
for cost competitiveness.
came in and took pictures of my kitchen, developed a cost estimate and emailed it to me. I went to their showroom, chose some upgrades, and executed a contract with them. There was a mixup on the cabinet order which caused a 2 week delay in the start date. Once the cabinets were in,
came in and completed the demo and rebuild within 2 weeks. They rebuilt the laundry stacking the appliances and even custom built two doors to match the shaker style cabinets. We had another week delay because the backsplash that I wanted was on back order. Once everything was in,
completed the work and paid close attention to the detail.
made sure I was 100% satisfied every step of the way. All in all, the remodel took a bit longer than I anticipated, but the workers are skilled, polite, and professional; and the kitchen is beautiful.

Couldn't be more disappointed. The entire project was supposed to take 4-5 weeks. After 3 months they were only halfway done with one bathroom! They hadn't even started the second one.
Along the way, they ruined the bathroom floor, installed plumbing that is not to code, and they compromised the structural integrity of the entire house by butchering my floor joists. I ended up filing a complaint with the state licensing board.
I definitely would not recommend Perspectives to any of my friends or neighbors.

I approached KBD on the recommendation of a neighbor who used them for an extensive renovation and had been quite pleased with the work. My own experience trying to get a bid from KBD was much less positive. After many weeks, meetings and repeated visits to the showroom, we ended up with nothing but wasted time. My abiding frustration with

(owner; he does all the estimating) and the process was his thoroughgoing refusal to provide any justification for the line-item numbers he was proposing. He reassured me that his margins on my project were razor-thin, even as some of the line-items seemed preposterously high. He repeatedly asserted that he could deliver a very competitive price for the job, but then proceeded to revise his estimate upward on two occasions, even as we eliminated things from the scope. He steadfastly refused to be transparent about any of his numbers. His answers to my questions were frequently evasive and condescending. The worst of it was when I went to meet with

with my architect and he refused to allow us to walk away with a copy of his estimate or even take any notes. How are potential clients supposed to make an informed decision in that scenario? They cannot, and I suspect that's the way he prefers it.

They did a great job, and we were very satisfied. Initially, we had a hard time getting in touch with them, but once we did, they were very quick and responsive. It turned out they had a death in the family and had been unreachable during the week or so I had been trying to reach them. They called and apologized repeatedly, and they were wonderful in getting someone out a.s.a.p. to do the installation.

From the start of the project to the end of the project

and his crew were wonderful to work with. I had used

years earlier to repair and restore a bathroom that had some shoddy work done, he did an excellent job on that project, so it was without hesitation that I used him to remodel my condominium. We all have those horror stories about contractors who start and never finish, well

will help erase all those bad memories! He starts on time, shows up when he says he will, and most importantly his work is good. He removed walls, ripped out an old kitchen and bath, repaired a parquet floor (even though he told me up front that parquet floor repair was something he really didn't do!) and installed crown molding throughout my home. The end results were stunning and far exceeded my expectations. This guy is a genius, and he works with a really talented designer

Once the estimate was in the work went smoothly. There is nothing we would have done differently. We plan on calling upon them soon for some work in our basement and have given their name to relatives who are moving into a new house and need some work done.

I purchased a $6,000 bathroom remodel through an Angie's list big deal. I paid up-front for the work but the money went to Angie's list and not FP Designs. FP Designs would not do the work until they got an installment from Angie's list which took quite a bit of time.

The price included a $1,100 budget for cabinets/fixtures/etc. The products were low quality so I opted to take a $1,100 credit and purchase my own products. FP Designs did an great job with the demolition and reconstruction. The bathroom looks great.

My only negative was that they cut corners by not doing a good job patching the wall behind the cabinet as it would not be visible, and someone spilled a thread-like trail of paint down my flagstone front steps that was not cleaned up. But all in all I had a very positive, worry free experience. I would use them again.

This was a great experience. Our new beautiful kitchen makes the entire house feel newer and fresher, at a price we were looking for with no hassle. I've heard so many horror stories of kitchen renovations, and this went perfectly from start to finish. They worked with us to get the kitchen we wanted: showing us the 3D designs, working with us on what tasks we could perform to lower the price point, what options would be worth the price savings and where it was worth spending the money. The final price was exactly what they had quoted us from the start.

checked in personally to make sure everything was going along, Penny was always available to work out how changes would affect the schedule or price, and Florina was invaluable in making sure the design worked out. Issues that have been major hassles for friends involved in remodeling - upstairs plumbing that would have gotten in the way of the new cabinets, a load-bearing support that had to be shifted several inches, extra cutouts that had to be made to fit the cabinets - were all taken in stride so easily that it was obvious we were dealing with professionals. The crew was professional, including the flooring and counter subcontractors who worked around our schedule to ensure we had minimal hassle. Everything was cleaned up each day by the time we got home in the evening, and the rest of the house was practically unaffected. Most importantly, having been told it would be done in 2-4 weeks, we were back in our kitchen two weeks and a day after they started.

I recommend IKB highly to anyone who asks.
