"The course itself was fine. My main problem was with response, ot lack thereof, to questions and concerns. Forget about anyone answering the phone EVER if you" call. Furthermore, messages and emails are not responsded to in a timely manner, if at all. Totally unresponsive to customer inquiries. Very poor customer service. Avoid at all cost.

-Randy P.

"Signed up for a specific class and time.
changed the time and location but did not inform us of the change. They combined a series of classes" in to one huge class of close to 40 students in a converted garage without enough seats for all the students.
made sure to inform all students of all the fines they would have to pay if they were late or made changes. The instructor spent more time fast-forwarding through videos than he did teaching according to my daughter and friend. Although we were told driving time would be at the site we signed up for, that was changed and we had to drive to a different location. Despite signing up for specific drive times,
changed the time either the night before of day of causing a huge coordination problem for us the customer. We felt for the money, they were very poorly organized and managed. I would not recommend anyone use this service but to check out other schools first.

I signed my daughter up for this program because they had a very good reputation. Unfortunately for us that reputation does not seem to be well earned.

My daughter took the classroom portion of the program a year ago. The classroom instruction was good except that a retired state police officer did a scared straight thing that included his railing against anyone who disagrees with his political or religious views. I want my kids to hear all kinds of opinions and to understand all kinds of beliefs but the driving class is not the place for that.

The day after she got her learner's permit my daughter started attempting to sign up for road lessons using their antiquated online booking system. It wouldn't let her book lessons any sooner than three months out and she could only book three lessons at a time.

She became age eligible for her license in April and started calling the office to attempt to secure lessons shortly before that time. She calls every week and is told to call back every time she calls. They lecture her about how long she has been in their system despite the fact that she has been actively trying to sign up for lessons. They suggest that she sign up for text alerts for lessons. She has signed up for text alerts three times and only gets the alerts after I e-mail them to complain. By the way, they do not respond to parent e-mails either. Not a word. You just will suddenly get a couple of text alerts.

I have also called the office. And they tell me to call back too.

I am really disappointed in this company. My experience with them does not support their reputation. If they are the best driving school I don't want to know what the worst one is like.

Excellent, excellent organization! Both of our sons learned how to drive with
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
and it was a great experience for both of them. The instructors were professional but nice and helpful. You are able to order extra sessions, which we did, especially for driving at night. Most importantly, both of them passed their driver's road tests on the first try and with flying colors! And we know it's all because of the high quality instructors at IDS. In fact, we know some kids that used other driving schools and they have had to take the road test a few times to finally pass. We also highly recommend signing up for the Pre-Driving Test session which takes the students through what the actual driving test will be like. This last one is a separate fee and a little expensive, but if you can afford it, it is worth every penny! You won't be sorry.

I highly recommend Mr.

and the
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
. He is very professional and was always on time for her lessons. He started my daughter's lessons in a parking lot and she progressed to interstate driving. He is patient and provided excellent guidance. She passed her driving test on the first try! The lessons gave me some peace of mind and gave her the confidence she needed to be successful.

Good afternoon,

I really would like to provide a review on your program. I'm not on social media so please post the following review for me or explain to my daughter,
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
how to do so.

1. The use of simulator is an awesome technique to help drivers recognize and prepare for dangerous road conditions/circumstances.
2. Instructors for simulators are very nice.
3. They are able to quickly obtain payment.

1. Scheduling is awful! A lady had us on the phone so long that it just became a extremely funny to my daughter and I that she couldn't get things right. @30 minutes to schedule @5 sessions.
2. They don't really tailor to your child's needs. You are expected to work with a different instructor each time. I explained my daughter's situation to 3 different people in person not including people I spoke to on the phone. They had minimum information on my child each time and program was not tailored to her needs. For instance, my daughter is 17.5 about to leave for college next month on a basketball scholarship. I explained she has been driving for two years. She took classes at Stop n Go and the one ran by law enforcement officers prior to me letting her have her H3 to drive. She had a fender bender the first month of her license. In May of this year she totaled her Hummer. Thus, I sought out additional education and this place was recommended. I explained my concerns with ADD traits, distracted driving ie texting, school anxiety, radio tuning, etc., ability to know where she's at..describing location on the road, driving the speed limit etc

Her individual needs were addressed only by one instructor after half way through the stimulator session he asked if I had any specific concerns. Yes! Info had been provided twice in person and twice on phone at that point but I provided above info yet again.

3. The driving instructor:.I explained my concerns and inquired of her background experience. She said she had been at driving school for two years and was previously an English teacher. I didn't have same confidence as instructor
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
who was a police officer for 25 plus years. After the drive, she said she forgot to show my daughter hand positioning!!! So, I asked well are you going to go out and do that?? She took out a wheel cover and demonstrated??? She joked well at least we stopped for gas. W**, I'm paying $600 for you to stop and gas up the car?? She didn't address any of the issues that we signed up for.

4. Scheduling nightmare continues...After the orientation, the drive and 2 simulators I'm told they need to change her final simulator from 3pm to 1pm. I reluctantly agree saying I would just let my daughter drive. She gasps and says well does your daughter have a license!! Wow
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
yes for 1.5 years if anyone ever read or bothered to note my concerns. I then inform her that we wanted to have the last session with
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
. She reported that he is booked for the next month. Highly doubt it but whatever...They schedule us for a month out. The same day they leave message that they can change it to the following week. They call again and say no August 14th will have to be the date!!! wow!!!! They also have her for another drive which is fine since the first was useless but point is that their records don't even reflect that she already did the drive.

5. Her first simulator instructor spent an extra 35 minutes with
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
because he was just nice and I wasn't there to pick her up. The second instructor obviously didnt have notes on this because he made clear
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
would not get credit for 6hours only 5hr and 15min because we were late for his session, smh. I told him it really doesn't matter about the certificate. Again if anyone took notes on my request to tailor program, they would have known she already had two certificates from other driving courses.

If there was a money back guarantee, I would want my money back. In 43 years I've never had to make such a complaint of defective services. Attorney of 20 years.

Before her lessons with
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
, my daughter only had experience driving in a parking lot and on little-traveled inner roads. As a result of the lessons, she now feels comfortable driving on major roads with traffic. My daughter describes
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
as very encouraging, patient, and professional. He pointed out what to expect on a DMV road test and what to avoid. He progressively challenged her when she thought she was ready.
For all of us, her driving lessons with
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
were a very positive experience. Before the lessons, he talked with us about how he hoped to space the lessons, answered our questions, and how he would challenge her with more difficult situations when she was ready. After the lessons, he summarized her progress.
I highly recommend him as a driving instructor.
- Karen V.

He was very rude and would not meet the schedule. He yells at the kids when they make a mistake. Very unprofessional and overcharges. He scares the children who are learning how to drive. He didn't answer his phone for several days.
- iris W.

They have been great so far! He much prefers the instructor to me-lol! I'm Excited for him to take the test with them as well. He has gotten a number of good tips and practice at times that I coul provide due to their pick up and drop off service.

This was our 4th child going thru drivers ed but our first time at
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
and it was my favorite school. Driver's ed in general is not fun, but
Bel Air Drivers Ed Classes Provider Name Locked
made it as enjoyable and convenient as possible. My daughter actually said her instructor was funny and made the class as interesting as possible. The in car driving sessions were easily scheduled/changed online, and she was able to sign up to do her driving with a friend which made it less nerve racking for her. She is a good driver.
