Business Description: My name is Glen Smith and I run Advanced Math Tutors. I have 7 years of teaching experience in Howard County Public Schools in Maryland. I have personally taught every high school math class offered by most schools and I have over 15 years of tutoring experience. This includes all levels of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. I do much of the tutoring myself but I also have several tutors that work for me. All of my tutors are certified teachers or they are on their way to getting certified. Therefore, when you hire us, you don't just get a math whiz. You get a personal teacher that understands the content and the pedagogy to effectively deliver that content. We are currently tutoring all high school math subjects from Algebra 1 through Calculus 2. We also have extensive experience creating materials and preparing students for the math sections of the SAT, SAT Math Subject Level 1, SAT Math Subject Level 2, GRE, Praxis 1, and Praxis 2. If you live in the Baltimore/Howard County area of Maryland we can meet you at your house or a local library. If you are further away, we can work online and you will have the same tutor for every session. We have never had a disappointed client. We focus strictly on math and we are the best in the business at what we do.
